The Journey Of Yin And Yang - Volume 1 Chapter 84 Ash Born Horses Iv
“Stop laughing! Just you wait until you also suffer defeat from that damn horse.” Hot glared at Yang as he change into a new outfit.
“We’ll see.” Yang said cheerily as he straightened his robe and descended.
Down on the ground, the horde had once again gathered and loud neighs could be heard as they communicated with each others. Now that the annoying brats were finally gone, they could focus on their original goal, which was to reach the Ashen Lake.
Every thousand years, the Ash-born horses would travel large distances to the lake in order to meet up with other hordes to create offsprings. Thus it was of great importance for these horses to arrive in time. Otherwise they might miss out the chance to mate.
When the leader decided to embark towards their destination, he suddenly found another humanoid creature blocking his way. He snorted steam in irritation, which was followed by his horde members.
Just as they prepared to go on the offensive, the man stretched out his right arm and showed his palm. A small green fire appeared in front of it, which caused the horde to get cautious. None of them could after all beat the stranger in terms of magical power.
The man let the fire slowly approach the stallion, before stopping right in front of its nose. It sniffed and waited for further actions from the stranger, but nothing happened.
Then it observed the floating fire in front of it and noticed that it was made of pure fire essence. Since the fire lacked offensive attributes, the stallion opened its jaw and swallowed it.
Immediately, the Ash-born horse could feel the fire essence being absorbed by itself. The feeling was refreshing and almost euphoric, which caused it to neigh in happiness.
When Yang witnessed the positive outcome of his plan, he was secretly rejoicing and praising his own intelligence.
Yin complained about him being incapable of using his brain to do something calculative, but wasn’t he doing it at the moment? He couldn’t wait until he could shove every complaint into her face.
Yang then continued to create some more fire essence for the stallion. In turn, the increasingly greedy horse munched down the fires that were sent his way.
When the supply eventually ceased to replenish, the leader started to whine while it stared at Yang with almost tearing eyes. The horde members could almost not believe that their usual stoic leader, would behave like this.
“Be my mount and you shall receive unlimited food from me.” Yang laid out the terms while holding up some more fire essence.
