When I lost consciousness I knew that the outside world was already covered in darkness. From those ancient scriptures that have been passed generations to generations from my clan, it was stated that when you become blind your way of seeing the outside replica of the world should be through your internal connection with the environment using both sixth and seventh senses of your body. This way I gained knowledge of weighing the pros and cons of determining an imagery made description of the things around me and even topographical views.

From my past life experiences, I was trained by my father to be an assassin without eyes since I was 5. I have been wearing a blindfold for the past 10 years till I mastered the art of depending on both sixth and seventh senses, this way I’ll survive without light and guidance. He said this was the only skill that I can clearly relay on to protect myself and play all roles as the next heiress of the clan. I can see in the darkness, that was one of the major advantages of playing blind.

At the age of 15 I become someone who blindfolds herself to kill her target, and through that way I won’t need to deal with nightmares. Another 10 years came swiftly like a blur, now that the covers of my eyes are gone, I can finally see the world once again… the world in the dark…

My eyes fluttered open…

My senses became extremely sharp and cautious.

I blinked a few times before I decided to pull my body up and sat upright. I slightly held my head as I feel an intense pain, the blood circulation must have been disrupted since it was very sudden for me to move with stretching, not knowing how long I was asleep. I touched the silky hair planted on my head, it was straight and long. I touched my other hand, it was as smooth as a jade stone, good thing my arms have the same desired muscles that I have in my previous life.

If the heavens granted my wish, then where exactly am I?

And how did I get here?

I listened to the droplets of water.

I closed my eyes once more and eventually folded my legs in a meditating manner. I tried observing energy fluctuations in the area, and I must say that the surroundings is much denser with Qi Energy, and it is good for cultivation. I wonder which part of China this is…

Since I’ve never been here before I died…

I was used to traveling places to places in my past life. My father and I do travel a lot to garner strength and allies for our clan, so we can eventually go against the Red Dragon Empire of the South. I have trained with my elders through cliffs and caves for survival, so we never solely depend on having guns and machineries with us, to help our bodies cope up with the difficulties we might face in case of us being trapped in a battlefield without advanced weapons. But to be honest, I was ranked as the best weapon wielder of the Blue Dragon Empire.

I touched the cold ground.

It was ice cold, but why is it not affecting my body?

The rough texture of the solid platform that I’m sitting on confirmed my intuition that I’m really stuck in a cave. I wonder if I’ll encounter blood bats here.

Suddenly I heard something that’s being pounded, like drums in ancient times that’s used in every begining or to end a hunting competition. My head felt like it’s about to burst any minute from now, I held it tightly.

Without words…

I fell to the ground and laid there till I can remember…

Then images of a woman flashed through me.

She really looked like me except for the hair, I was born with natural curls, but she was born with a straight hair.

She was born on the same date as my birthdate, and of the year of the Dragons.

She was born as a warrior, a dignified general to be precise and the only granddaughter of the Emperor. She was favoured for being smart, brave and optimistic, so suitors flood her door. But she never paid attention to any of these marriage proposal, like she was already used to all of these. No one held her heart, but that won’t mean that she’s not searching for the one when she’s past the marriageable age.

In my previous life, the one I’m attracted to was the enemy I’m supposed to battle against with, but that man and I can never be. I have my own principles, and he has his. Sometimes I wonder how he’s been… it’s been 5 years since I last had dealings with him before I died. I died of knowing that he is the grandson and the only heir of the Red Dragon Empire, while I, as the Blue Dragon Empire’s heiress was destined not for love.

The girl in my vision, grew up with extraordinary abilities in strategical planning and military stuff, and she was also well versed in arts and womanly crafts, that gave her the freedom that she wanted. Her father was one of the greatest pillars of the kingdom as a renowned prince from his eastern origins, while her mother is the youngest daughter of the Emperor and the Empress.

Thus everyone was trying to gain favour from her. She was also blessed to be close with all of her male cousins; (the Emperor has 7 sons and a daughter – in their ancestry it was hard to conceive a female offspring, while she has 9 male cousins without any siblings) and was also pampered a lot by them.

Everything went fine, but not until the news of assassins infiltrating the northern border came to her hands. She immediately deployed forces to act against the assassins but none of the third and second elite ranked soldiers came back. So she traveled with a platoon of first elite soldiers with 6 generals. It was a victory, but she was sent in a trap right after winning the battle. That’s the time that she has faced an assassin that’s only a level below her rank.

Even if she was successful with defeating the opponent it was still unfortunate, because she was deeply wounded and she fell through the highest waterfall. Her head hit a rock below, thus she drowned and died.

This body was carried by the current and maybe it ended up in this ancient cave.

That’s when the transmigration happened…

That’s when I appeared and inhabited her dead body.

But because of the dense Qi Energy, my internal and external injuries were healed.
