The legend of ice - 40 How could I possibly fly here?
“Here we are, the two of us alone, Pangu,” I sighed.
“Yeah,” he replied, “well, you’re boring. Tulip used to cool down the boredom, and I really liked the company of this new fellow, Zi.”
“You are an ungrateful brat, Pangu. I am risking my life several times to help you build that physical body, and you come and say that I am boring.”
“Okay okay, I was just joking. Anyway, why do you think Richard sent us to that island in particular and not any other place?”
“Well, he said he wanted to test me there…”
Before I could continue, he interrupted, “But of course that is not what it seems to be, right? You’re smart, Hasan, surely you have figured that on your own by now.”
“To be honest… Yes, I find this a bit strange. Why would Richard want to test me on an abandoned island?”
“Not to mention that no one may be there.”
“We can’t know until we find out by ourselves. Ready for an adventure?”
“You bet.” And as he said that, I appirated to the island. However, my transportation was cut amid the teleportation, as we landed at the shore of the Pacific Ocean.
“What happened?” I asked, still feeling a bit dazed from the cut.
“I don’t know, it is as if someone pulled you by force from the island.”
I took a minute to get back in perfect condition then said, “I won’t stop here, let’s fly there, I don’t think the island is far. It should be somewhere here.”
“Go along.”
I summoned my wind powers and hovered a few feet off the ground and flew a step. However, the problem wasn’t what I could think of.
I didn’t complete that step in the air, as I fell down to the ground with a low thud. I tried to fly again, but no, I couldn’t. It was of no use at all.
I returned back to the spot where my teleportation was interrupted. There, I tried to fly. I think you already knew what happened, but I am going to say ut anyway. I was able to get off the ground easily, as if nothing happened a few moments ago. Trying desperately to fly forward again, I fell like before.
“Okay,” I said, my tone containing a bit of rage, “I am completely annoyed now. What the heck is happening here?”
“I really don’t know, Hasan,” answered Pangu. “This is the first time I’ve ever seen this. Or at least, as I remember.”
“You have been into such a situation before Pangu. These memories are with the piece on this island,” came the voice of Richard as he appeared beside me.
“Well, I thought you wouldn’t pass by,” I said to him.
“Don’t worry, I wouldn’t send you into the dark like that,” he said.
“Can you please tell me that information before getting me here?”
“I could not, it was essential that Tulip wouldn’t know the information about this island. If she, you wouldn’t be here at all.”
“And why is that?”
“She would plead to me not to send you there, and I can’t refuse.”
“You, the Lord Of Chaos, can’t refuse the request of a Sovereign? Are you kidding me?”
“You would have known if you knew my sister,” as he said that, a tear dropped on his cheek, “Tulip is just like her. Of course not in the appearance but in the personality. Ariana and Tulip, both are kind, happy, and suffered from parent’s deaths. They are very alike in many ways, and the way Tulip pleads to me is the same when Ariana pleaded to Albus or Aberthfoth.”

Now that he explained to me, I have to admit that he has a point. No one doted on Richard as Ariana did, and he adores her. But her death crushed him, and as Pangu said earlier, unlocked his powers.
“Okay,” I said, my voice a bit broken. “Why am I unable to fly there, or continue my apparation?”
“To unknown reasons, this place has no natural laws in it. The gravity still works, though.”
“And how am I supposed to get on the island if I can’t fly? By swimming perhaps?”
“No.”
“Then how?”
“By flying of course!”
“What?? Look, I am actually lost here. You said that there are no natural laws in this area, and first you said that I couldn’t fly. But now you tell me that I have to get there by flying? What kind of logic is that?”
“Who said that you are going to fly by the help of natural laws? Do you remember that you have wings kid? Those aren’t for enjoyment, you can put them into use.”
“But if there are no laws here haw am I supposed to fly there with wings?”
“Your transformation is a part of you, and nothing can stop you from transforming into a dragon, or just pulling off wings. And if you don’t believe me, at least try it.”
I did as he said and stepped in the area which had no laws in it. And as Richard said, I could transform just finely.
“Okay,” I said as I returned by his side. “Is there anything else?”
“The name of this island is Isle of Prisons. Be careful there.”
With that, he transformed into a black Phoenix and summoned his ability of transportation.
