The legend of ice - 48 A drunk lord 48 A drunk lord
“Holy sh*t!” I exclaimed. Normally, I wouldn’t curse at all, but this time, I was scared out of my wits, so the words slipped out of my lips. Who could have expected that I, the Lord of WATER, WIND AND ICE WOULD CONJURE FIRE!
Fárbuati’s shield didn’t have the chance to stand against my flame serpent, although the big guy was probably an Eternal Emperor and far more powerful than Emperor in the Yggdrasil chaosverse. The fact that Richard appointed him to be the guardian of the Pangu axe blade pieces shows how powerful he is.
He big frown appeared on his face, a frown bigger than any other that appeared on his face. He strod forward and gripped my hand tightly.

I was powerless, not because ge exerted power, no; it was because the flame had depleted my energy, and I was barely able to stay awake.
Under my skin, the fire was still there. Fárbuati murmured something under his breathand the bit of fire that was under the skin snaked to his hand.
He looked at it for some time and suddenly looked at me again. “How was I able to do that,” I asked with a weakened voice.
“I don’t know,” he replied calmly. “Lord Richard must see this. Someone has played with your body, kid, and it is not a good thing. Come!”
Still gripping my hand, he appirated to the Mansion of Night. He held me to Richard’s office, since I was too weak to walk. However, I noticed that his armor was different than it had been moments before. It was just like the one whem I first met him. Apparently, he only sent me here and left his clone behind. To confirm my thoughts, I saw Mimir, dangling from Fárbuati’s hip.
We arrived at Richard’s office rather quickly, since no one was in our way to stop us. Without knocking on the door, Fárbuati stormed into the room and addressed Richard, who was sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, “Fire.”
Richard opened his eyes and said with a raised eyebrow, “What?”
“He conjured fire,” replied Fárbuati.
“How could he conjure fire?”
“You are the Lord of Chaos, not I.”
“Do you think that we should held a meeting?” said Richard with a grimace.
“Are you drunk?” asked Mimir.
“I am? I am! How shocking!”
“He is definitely drunk,” I said, followed by a cough. Seeing that Richard was still acting stupidly, I continued, “Richard, please, this is serious.”
“I know that it is serious! Do I look like am not serious?”
“I think you’d better held this meeting.”
“Well then,” said Mimir. “Other than our Lord of Chaos here, who is currently drunk, I am the only one that can announce the meeting. Would you mind taking me to the meeting room, brother?”
“Fine,” said Fárbuati. He put me on a mat beside Richard and went out with Mimir.
“You are not drunk are you?” I asked after they closed the door.
Richard’s face turned normal and replied, “Nope.”
“Then why were you acting like you were drunk?”
“Because I felt like playing a bit. And after the meeting starts, you’ll see that Mimir saw through it all, but considering that the two of us are weirdos, he didn’t say anything about it.”
“He also didn’t because you are his lord.”
“Yeah, that too.”
He waved his hand and my energy was restored. I sat up and said, “Why did all of this happen?”
“Something, or perhaps someone, is tempering with your body. So don’t feel confused.”
“Who are these Lords?”
“The Lords of Yggdrasil are a bunch of people like us. You are the Lord of Water, Wind, and Ice, I am the Lord of Night. There will be other Lords in this meeting. It should start by now.”
Just after he said that, two doors suddenly appeared in front of him, as well as in front of me.
“After you,” said Richard.
I stepped into the door, which led to a dark room, with a round table in the middle, surrounded by chairs, each chair for each lord.
Suddenly, Mimir’s voice drifted through the room, “Welcome my Lords.”
