The legend of ice - 62 Red in a sea of black
It all happened so fast. I had a very hard time believing what happened at that time. But should I continue to play with your feelings and let you feel impatient or should I just get to the rest of the story?
Okay I guess I should go on.
Richard teleported us to the location of Tulip, at the entrance of the Immortal Sun Sect. The sect master, Emperor Sun, was holding Tulip with a knife on her neck. His eyes had a little change, turning to red.
Next to him stood the genius of the sect, Tai Yang, with an evil grin on his face. What shocked me that his eyes were also red, not just him, but also a hundred or so cultivators behind him.
Tulip was not struggling, not even a bit. In fact, it seemed like she had no life left in her at all. But, no. No that wasn’t it. If she was dead then the madman wouldn’t be threatening us with her.
At most, she was under a hypnotic spell or something like that.
But that was more than enough to let every thought in my head to turn into the most extreme and utmost anger.
I started to walk towards the Emperor but was stopped by Richard with a tap on my right shoulders.
“Welcome, fellow apprentices!” said Emperor Sun with a loud voice. “Master!”
“You don’t qualify to be a disciple of mine,” said Richard with a dark tone filled with killing intent.
“Is that so?”
“Tell the true one that I won’t stop till every single one of your kind is hunted and killed.”
“Oh Richard, Richard, who will kill us? You? You must be joking. You can’t even get near us, how could you kill us?”
“What is he talking about?” I said.
“Easy, lad,” answered Mimir, “this is not something you should be concerned about right now.”
“As long as Tulip is in the game, I am concerned!”
“Good words, Evil,” said the Emperor. “Alas, what you can do against us either? After all, you are a clone of Richard.”
“Evil?”
“That’s enough!” shouted Richard.
“Enough? Oh Richard, you didn’t even tell him about it? He would have known anyway, but at what cost? How about to enlighten all of the people here about our origins? Come on, it can’t be that hard, can it?” said Sun.
“I will take care of this,” said Fárbuati, holding the axe in his hand.
“Take one more step and she dies. Now that’s good. But before this ends, I want to tell you how I captured her. Remember back then when you first left to get the two blade pieces in my sect, Evil? Yes, that was when I imprinted a mark on her. That mark enables me to make her a puppet whenever I want.
“Isn’t that brilliant?”
“I have heard enough! Richard do something!”
Richard looked at me, and in the first time since I met him, I saw the deep helplessness in his eyes. He sighed and said, “Alas, his words are true. I can do nothing!”
At that time, I didn’t have the ability to think clearly, my actions were out of anger. “If you won’t do something then I will!”
I started walking and preparing every spell I knew. I knew I didn’t have hope, but I couldn’t sit idly while my girlfriend is about to be killed.
Emperor Sun and his companions looked at me as if they were enjoying the show. However, when I was halfway to them, Tulip’s eyes suddenly turned clear, causing me to stop. “Hasan!” She said weakly.
“Everything is going to be alright, I promise you.”
“I… am… S-s-sorry!”
“Oh, how touching!” said Emperor Sun. “Say your goodbyes, lovebirds!”
Adter he said that, the blade in his hand slid past Tulip’s throat and killed her mercilessly!
“No no no NO!” I screamed as I rushed towards her.
“What?” exclaimed Richard and all our opponents at the same time.
“Oh well it doesn’t matter if you can get near us, Evil, you can’t do a thing anyway,” said Emperor Sun as he motioned for the one beside him, Tai Yang.
He immediately understood and chanted a spell, causing me to be thrown back before I could reach Tulip’s corpse. After I landed, I managed to sit on my knees, with my heart being a mix of pain and anger. I could only watch her from afar, as her blood dripped on the ground.
Years from now, outside the once Immortal Sun Sect, a field of over a hundred black tulip flowers bloomed. But in the middle of the black sea, a red tulip distinguished herslef from the others.
A tulip of blood…
