The Legend Of Min Hong - Chapter 594: Something Doesn’t Seem Right…
Bang…
Boom!
They slammed into one another as a soundless ripple spread out destructively, causing Old Man Li and Little Wu to solidify their balance, but following just behind that was an earth shattering explosion that carved out a ten meter deep bowl-shaped depression into the ground…
A powerful shockwave rippled out; blasting towards the Old Man Li duo, who released their auras and used it to defend themselves…
As a figure miserably flew out of the chaos, before slamming into a nearby stone boulder, blasting it into smithereens…
Debris scattered all over the place whilst dust nearly blinded the sight of the onlookers; but within all that chaos was a hovering black sphere, hanging right there at the point of explosion, and from trios inferences, the sphere didn’t seem to have moved a bit…
Min Hong halted on his knee, looking at the hovering sphere with both arms twisted in odd angles, an ankle facing the opposite direction and finally a bone poking out of his elbow;
[Shit, to think I would totally forget the wind spirit…]
He thought to himself after realizing that Little Lin’s battle with Little Bing must have cut off the suppression of the wind spirit who smacked him from behind and sent him flying towards Shen Bing earlier…
[Just as I’ve predicted, that orb can land a fatal strike…]
He reaffirmed his previous guess as his physical body threw up another mouthful of blood dyeing his clothes red…
His wounds began to heal at roughly one-tenth the speed of the truth seeker orb whilst the sphere hovering midair finally opened up to reveal a heavily panting Shen Bing;
[Tch, to think he would attack me with a soul technique!] She thought to herself in pain and frustration;
“Something doesn’t seem right…” Little Wu voiced out his confusion;
“What is it?” Old Man Li continued to spectate the spar as he answered;
“She looks hurt, and from experience that shouldn’t be possible considering his strength…” He revealed;
“Where are we?” Old Man Li asked;
“Unh?”
“I asked where we are?” He repeated himself;
“The Realm of Creations…” Little Wu responded with a curious expression;
“What kind of realm is it?” Old Man Li continued;
“A soul realm…”
“Good… Then what are we?”
“Souls…”
“What do you think happens when a soul is being attacked by an anti-soul technique within a soul realm?”
Old Man Li asked but Little Wu didn’t reply because he’d already gotten his answer and that caused the old man to nod his head in admiration as they continued to spectate the spar…
[Only a minute has passed since this duel began and I’ve already suffered repeated setbacks; and she doesn’t seem to be maxing out her powers yet…]
Min Hong thought to himself before rising to his feet and dusting some dirt off his clothes;
“Are you ready to take things serious?”
Shen Bing’s voice chimed over as Min Hong grinned and nodded his head in affirmation, then he grabbed the thin air and a silvery bow then appeared in his grasp…
[Tch! He said he’s willing to take things serious but whips out a Bronze ranked weapon instead, is he mocking me!?]
Shen Bing commented through gritted teeth as she identified the level of the Forsaken Bow in Min Hong’s hands at first glance;
Strrriing!
He pulled the bowstring taut as four arrows appeared within the notches of his fingers;
Hualala!
He fired them all from a vantage point that aimed each of the arrows towards four intricate directions that cornered Shen Bing;
Kian! Kian!
Kian!
Prank!
The four orbs bolted towards the arrows and deflected them;
[He obviously knows those arrows won’t hit, so what is his plans?] Shen Bing thought to herself as her eyes darted all over the place but couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary;
“Stop playing aro-”
Shen Bing didn’t even get to finish her next sentence before Min Hong popped right into her face like an idea popped into her head; Min Hong appeared abruptly without prior notice with a palm strike that was radiating a life threatening level of soul power;
“Print of Ancient Saints!” He blurted before sending the palm strike towards the tummy of the stunned Shen Bing whose brain was still processing the current proceedings;
Bang…
Blurt!
Shen Bing received the full brunt of the strike with an aggressive blurt due to all the air in her lungs and tummy being forced out by the palm strike…
But just as she was sent flying, she didn’t forget to plant the heel of her feet into Min Hong’s tummy;
Dang! Min Hong was also sent hurtling away as he heard several homing sounds;
Whoosh! Whoosh!
The first-two Truth Seeker Orbs managed to miss their mark on their way back to the injured Shen Bing, but the third slammed straight into his left shoulder, shattering the bones in the area whilst sending a mind numbing pain coursing through Min Hong, who was deviated directly into the path of the last orb which smashed him straight into the tornado of wind blades where the wind spirit resides…
Min Hong’s consciousness blurred for a moment, ridding him off the opportunity to deviate his trajectory and evade the tornado, whereas the Truth Seeker Orbs arrived before Shen Bing could hit the ground;
One instantly morphed into something that looked and acted like a trampoline, which did not only cushion her fall, but sent her back into the sky…
Another one went to work and began to heal her injuries, whilst the last two simply hovered around her in a defensive mode…
Min Hong on the other hand was finally flung out of the raging tornado of wind blades and to every one’s shock, they could see several cuts on him which were actually bleeding…
[Tch! This is too slow…]
Min Hong thought to himself when he saw the pace at which his injuries were now healing;
[The Feng Shui Amour is zapping my Qi to restore the damages it just received and the Dragon tattoos are also taking their share to heal my physical body wounds…]
Min Hong continued as his vision continued to blur even murkier;
[It has only been two minutes since the spar began and I’m already this messed up; am I really going to lose this battle!?]
He asked himself as he drifted weakly through the air, heading straight for the dirt like a projectile…
