“It’s a surprise that you called me, Pakura-san” – said Kurama while raising an eyebrow at the sight of the green-haired woman looking at him with a forced smile.
“T-The truth is that Maki practically forced me…” – replied Pakura as he looked away.
“. . .” – Kurama gave her a confused stare, only to notice how Maki was watching them from a distance – “Anything I need to know?”
“W-Well… yesterday I drank with Maki and…” – said Pakura with a red face.
“. . .” – Kurama was silent as he waited for her to continue speaking.
“And I ended up getting drunk…” – responded Pakura as she looked away – “During that time, Maki convinced me to call you to…”
“To?” – asked Kurama as he raised an eyebrow.
“Oh, come on, this is taking longer than it should,” sighed Maki as she walked to where the two members of the Uzumaki clan were – “And you are not helping, Kurama-sama”
“. . .” – Kurama gave the girl a glance because in spite of knowing more or less what was coming, he had decided to wait.
“That’s enough, Maki,” said Pakura as she looked at her adopted daughter. “Don’t meddle in other people’s business”
“It’s not other people’s business, Pakura,” said Maki as she rolled her eyes. ” I’m trying to help my mother”
“. . .” – Pakura was silent when she heard this because he had no argument to contradict her, after all, she too would get in the middle of Maki’s business.
“OK, I think that’s enough,” said Kurama as he frowned. “Okay, tell me what you called me for”
“. . .” – Pakura and Maki were silent as they looked at the redhead.
“I feel that things are not as they should be,” said Maki as she looked at her mother.
“I feel the same way,” nodded Pakura as she gave the ginger a blank stare. “Usually this would be the part where he tries to stay out of our conversation for fear of suffering our combined anger”
“Right” – Maki nodded with a strange expression.
“Don’t think of me as a beta protagonist who does whatever his girls tell him to do,” responded Kurama neutrally. “There may be times when I decide to indulge you, but don’t think I do it because I’m afraid of you, but because I’m a gentleman”
“. . .” – Pakura and Maki were silent as they gave him a blank stare.
“Well, we better talk seriously,” said Kurama neutrally. “What do you need?”
“Pakura… you better tell him, or I swear to God I will tell him and everything will be worse,” said Maki as she looked at her mother.
“OK, OK, I’m going to do it” – said Pakura as she rolled her eyes, then looked at the redhead – “I wish it was just the two of us though… and no cheating”
“Oh, come on, I want to see this” – said Maki, just to feel her ‘mother’s’ cold stare – “OK, you win…”
Maki took one last look at her mother before leaving, but not before wishing her good luck.
“Ok, we are alone now” – said Kurama calmly as he noticed how the woman started to fidget.
“Ahem! We’d better go somewhere more personal,” Pakura replied with embarrassment.
“OK” – nodded Kurama as he accompanied the woman.
“Oh God, Pakura,” sighed Maki, who had not really left, but had been spying on the couple – “I know it’s difficult for you, but at least try…”
Maki was silent for a few seconds as she watched her mother’s silhouette disappear – “Now all that remains is to decide whether to follow them or not… Hmm…”
Maki continued thinking, only to shake her head because it was better to let her mother do what she had to do.

“I think this is a good place” – said Kurama as he looked around
“Give me a moment… this is difficult for me” – answered Pakura as she turned around.
Kurama nodded slowly as he waited for a few seconds.
“Argh! F.u.c.k it!”- exclaimed Pakura as he screamed like crazy – “I want to go on a date with you!
“. . .” – Kurama was silent for a few seconds before nodding – “Ok, I accept … although I would like to know why you decided to ask me out on a date”
“OK, I’ve been in denial, but I think it’s better if I’m honest with myself,” said Pakura as she looked the young man straight in the eye, “You’ve done too much for me”
“In fact, I only sent you with Tsunade” – replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders.
“Can I continue? – asked Pakura with a frown.
“I’m sorry,” apologized Kurama as he scratched his cheek, “Please continue”
“Ok… As I was saying, you have done a lot for me, and even though you think it was only to send me to Tsunade-sama to help me with my illness, it has been much more than that” – answered Pakura while closing her eyes – “When I came to the Uzumaki clan, I was only a shadow of my old self, but thanks to your help and that of the whole clan, I have slowly returned to the way I was before”
Pakura slowly opened her eyes and looked at the young man carefully – “Years ago, I would never have thought of going back to Suna, much less seeing Maki again… That is why I thank you… Thank you very much, Kurama-sama”
“You don’t have to thank me, I just did what I thought was right,” answered Kurama calmly.
“I know,” said Pakura as a small smile appeared on her face. “That makes it all the more special, doesn’t it?”
“. . .” – Kurama only shook his head because despite having a number of relationsh.i.p.s with women, he still didn’t understand some things about the feminine species.
“Argh! There are times when you are an idiot, Kurama-sama!” – exclaimed Pakura as she saw that her words did not pass through the redhead’s head – “How much clearer do I have to leave things so that you understand that I want to try to enter a relationship with you!”
“I understand that, what I don’t understand is how you started having feelings for me,” responded Kurama as he looked at the green-haired woman in confusion. Normally there was a sign, a spark, but with Pakura he was always at a safe distance, nor did it help that the woman was mostly training or serving as a bodyguard.
“Nor do I know…” – Pakura replied with a frown – “Anyway, a woman’s feelings and thoughts are more complex than you think, simple curiosity can turn into love in a short time, so being by her side for all these years is more than enough reason to think about being more than a servant”.
“Hmm… You’re right, I guess,” said Kurama as he shrugged. “Anyway, I guess I have to give you an answer”
“I would be grateful if you did,” Pakura answered seriously.
“Okay, I guess we can try,” replied Kurama as he nodded, “I don’t know where this relationship will go, but I hope it’s what we both hope for”
“I think so too, thank you for accepting this old and mistreated woman” – replied Pakura as her smile blossomed like a rose in the middle of the desert.
Kurama was stunned for a few seconds before returning to normal.
“Is something wrong?” – asked Pakura as she tilted her head in confusion.
“No… it’s nothing…” – said Kurama as he shook his head – “Anyway, is there somewhere you want to go?”
“Hmm… come, join me” – said Pakura while holding the redhead’s hand, but not before walking away – “On second thought, I think we’d better use the Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu) to go unnoticed”
“You are right,” nodded Kurama as he recalled what happened the last time he came to Suna.

“This is my victory” – said Anko with a huge smile as she gloated.
It had been three days since Kurama had gone to Suna to talk with Pakura.
“It is still possible that I have won” – snorted Tsunade, although her words were not even believed by her.
“Yes, maybe if you repeat it about 10 times, you might believe it” – answered Anko as she rolled her eyes – “If Foxy-kun had already taken her to bed, he would have brought her to Uzu so that we would know about their new relationship, it is even possible that he would have sent a clone to inform us, but none of that has happened, has it?”
“Ugh…” – Tsunade only m.o.a.ned in irritation at Anko’s words because there was no way she could defend herself.
“If it makes you feel better, Tsunade-sama, it’s possible that Aneki won’t win either,” said Kin as she shrugged. “Kurama-kun can also take it easy and not have s.e.x with Pakura-san until early next month”
Anko’s smile disappeared when she heard this as she felt her world fall apart – “Oh my! I didn’t think of that!”
“Heh” – Tsunade smiled when she heard this. She had to admit that she felt a little better, although not much because the chances of Kin’s words coming true were quite low.
