“Not bad” – said Obito after receiving the information of how his army had returned to their numbers before the invasion of Kumo.
“Their numbers have returned to normal, but their power level is still minimal,” replied Black Zetsu as he frowned. “We have to start attacking shinobi villages in order to increase the power of our army, or they will only be cannon fodder during the next war that is coming”
“The objective of the white Zetsu’s army is only to create a distraction and give us as much time as we can, not to mention that the greatest skill they have is not their strength, but the ability to blend in with the environment, as well as take on the appearance of other people to cause chaos in the enemy ranks” – said Obito while frowning – “Furthermore, if we attack any shinobi village, it is possible that Konoha or one of the other Great Villages will discover our intentions…”.
“True, although that would give us better fertilizer for our army” – answered Zetsu Negro while he denied with his head – “The more shinobis they throw at us, the less strength they will have for the war they are about to declare”.
“. . .” – Obito was silent for a few seconds while he thought about the words of the black entity – “You are right, but it is better that we do not make such a sudden move, after all, we can still use this time of relative peace to increase our chances of victory”.
Zetsu said nothing in response to these words because he found his partner was right – “Well… I won’t send our army to attack shinobi villages, although that doesn’t mean I won’t hunt those little fish out of the pond”
“We’d better change the subject, any information about the Kyubi and the Nibi?” – asked Obito as he looked at his partner.
“Let’s see, the Kyubi has been in Kiri for a few hours and from his direction, I would say that he went to talk to the Daimio of Mizu no Kuni” – answered Black Zetsu while he shook his head – “It’s the only thing I could find because you know, if one of our spies gets too close, he dies within a few seconds. As for the Nibi, we haven’t had any additional information to the one she’s still in Uzu, which is a problem because now that Kushina has finished with the Barriers that cover that damn village, we can’t do much, at least for the moment”
Zetsu really hated the Uzumaki clan, after all, it was a clan that was a direct descendant of the Rikudou Sennin, that’s why he had put his hand in the matter and made the other villages completely destroy the ancestral land of the Uzumaki clan, a pity that there were some survivors, a mistake in his calculations, or was it better to say that he despised those fish that managed to escape from the net?
“What are you thinking?” – asked Obito when he noticed his partner’s scowl.
“That I regret not having eliminated some insects that are now a pest in my garden?” – replied Black Zetsu with irritation.

“I hate you, Ao…” – said Mei as she grunted fiercely in the presence of her former subordinate.
“I love you too, Mei-sama” – said Ao with sarcasm while signing the last doc.u.ment – “And I may have earned your anger, but you have to understand that you were the one who deserved this, after all, all these doc.u.ments were written by you”
“Just shut up and get it over with, I want to take a shower, so I can go on my special date” – said Mei irritably. She was barely resisting the urge to incinerate the elderly man in front of her.
“Oh, I was forgetting,” said Ao with slight discomfort.
“Something tells me you’re about to give me some bad news,” Mei responded as she felt her chakra begin to spiral out of control. “‘Speak, Ao, speak now or be silent for eternity”
“I forgot to tell you that during this week we have had a cultural exchange with several nearby villages, that’s why the vast majority of our hotels and restaurants have been booked for days” – responded Ao while scratching his cheek, only to shrink back in terror when he noticed the cold look of the reddish-brown-haired woman was giving him.
“Anything else I need to know? – asked Mei in a voice so cold that it scared the fiercest interrogator to death.
“Not that I know of,” responded Ao as he gave a forced smile to the woman who was once his leader.
“Okay, I guess we’ll have to use the VIP room,” said Mei as she frowned.
“Oh, I’m sorry to tell you that won’t be possible,” replied Ao as he shrank from Mei’s feminine fury. “Actually, the [Sekkusu Kami-sama Church] is using it right now, they said something about feeling the energy that Kurama-sama left in that place after he left Kiri”
“. . .” – Mei could feel her fury about to explode and to his misfortune, Ao was about to receive the power of the explosion, although to his luck, Kurama appeared at just the right moment – “What’s going on?”
“Kurama-kun! Listen to what happened!” – exclaimed Mei with tears in her eyes, as if she were a child who had been molested by a group of thugs and had finally found safety.
Ao, for his part, could only look on with a drop of sweat running down his forehead at the sudden change in attitude the woman had shown.
“I see…” – murmured Kurama as he nodded after hearing Mei’s words – “Why didn’t you use the Kage Bunshin to finish faster?”
Mei tried to say something, but remained silent as she could find no argument to refute the redhead’s words. She could barely resist the urge to bash his head on her former subordinate’s desk for forgetting a detail such as the use of clones to make his job easier – “Ugh, I feel like an idiot…”
“As for not being able to use a hotel or a restaurant, that’s already solved” – answered Kurama while he shook his head – “I made a reservation at the best hotel and restaurant in Kiri, it wasn’t difficult after talking to the Daimio”
“You’re the best, Kurama-kun!” – exclaimed Mei as she jumped into the redhead’s arms and gave him a passionate kiss – “What would I do without you?”
“You would probably still be at Mizukage’s seat,” answered Kurama calmly.
“Oh, he’s right,” replied Ao as he cursed the redhead inwardly for giving him such a shitty job as the leader of Kirigakure no Sato.
“I guess I have you to thank for taking that weight off my shoulders” – answered Mei while she winked at him, then licked her lips – “And believe me, I know how to do it”
“Okay, that’s enough, I don’t want to keep hearing about how you’re going to have s.e.x,” said Ao as he frowned, “As for you, Mei-sama, I’d like you to please control yourself a little”
“Oh, come on, I’ve been waiting for this for at least a year, let me enjoy the moment” – said Mei with a scowl, only to let out a sigh when she noticed the serious look on her former subordinate’s face – “Fine, I’ll control myself, or at least I’ll try”
“That’s more than I expected,” Ao replied as he shook his head, only to notice someone knocking at the door.
“I guess that’s our sign of retreat,” said Kurama as he took Mei in his arms, and they disappeared in a red flash.
“Okay, I could get used to this,” said Mei before she left the place.
“Well, at least she’s happy…” – Ao said with a smile as he motioned for the person outside to come in.
“Sorry for the interruption, Ao-sama,” said the secretary as she looked around.
“What’s going on?” – asked Ao as he raised an eyebrow because as far as he knew, there was no meeting for the rest of the day.
“One of the Daimio’s men has sent something for you…” – said the secretary with a forced smile.
“Okay, I have a bad feeling, but please continue” – said Ao as he looked at the secretary, only to notice how she left her office and went back in carrying a cart.
“. . .” – Ao was silent as he felt the tears begin to build up in his eyes.
“Daimio-sama said that all these doc.u.ments were related to the conversation he had with Kurama-sama” – replied the secretary while wiping the sweat from his forehead because the cart was heavy, which was obvious from the size of the pile of doc.u.ments he was carrying – “He already signed and approved some of them, but others need your signature to be approved, as they are directly related to Kirigakure no Sato”.
“. . .” – Ao remained silent as he thought of the words Mei had said when she was forced to help him with the paperwork – “Do you think if I jump out the window something will happen to me?”
