The life of a Haughty Prince - Chapter 30
“If you ever touch my daughter again, I will not just cut your disgusting arm but also your fat sack of a neck!!!!”
His insobriety was now all gone filled with fear, pain and confusion. His legs were shaking, his tongue was now tight within his shivering teeth. He couldn’t speak, he couldn’t move and mostly he couldn’t control his piss dripping down wetting his pants and the floor beneath him.
He wanted to use his water magic to somehow at least run away and even ask for forgiveness to save his life but the immense pressure was still putting him in his place.
Ruby was looking at his mommy with awe, the pressure not affecting her at all as it was fully directed to her so called father. She saw her hand with a transparent like blade attached and was surprised remembering the stories of heroes and kings her mother told her at bed time where the hero always wins against the bad guy at the end and thought this was the moment where the stories came true. Her mother who she loved finally defeating the bad guy who had always done bad stuff to them both.
Jena looked at her hand with bewilderment, she felt like her hand was constantly touched by a fast breeze of the wind. She remembered this feeling very well, when her mind and heart intensely desired for something. At that moment when Devy proposed, she felt this extreme jealousy triggering her unique connection with him. She thought it activated because she thought of Mr. prince from her heart but, it was her intense state of heart, feeling rage and despair, looking at the situation.
She just somehow wanted to save her daughter reminiscing the poor state she was in yesterday and wanted to save her daughter whatever the cost and looking at her daughter safe and sound, her desire was fulfilled. She then looked at the scum dirtying his pants with his own piss and started feeling the same rage.
She felt the urge to just kill and squash the bug in front of her as she had the power to do so. She stepped ahead with her rage and pressure increasing every second with completely different considerations than her normal self. She felt like a person of higher being, arrogance and pride filling her eyes.
She was afraid of him at first but not now. She wasn’t her weak self. She had power, power strong enough to torture and bleed the insect near her like he rightfully deserved. She swayed her hand copying the exact movement and symbol combinations like Mr.prince and it didn’t fail.
Bret was thrown at the direction of the entrance door like pile of garbage landing punitively outside the house.
She wanted to do more but as her rage and arrogance grew, her control of the pressure became thinner affecting her child in the process.
Ruby fell down with blood dropping down from her nose. If it was any other person. He or she would feel scared and loose consciousness but Ruby only felt happy as her mother became a hero and kicked off the bad guy (her father) out of the house as she always heard from the stories.
She looked at her mother with a smile as her conscious was slowly going away.
“mommy…..”
With her now acute senses, she heard her daughter’s small squeaky voice and looked back at her only to she her laid down on the floor, unconscious and blood flowing down from her nose.
She instantly panicked and closed her connection, her hair and her aura slowly returning to normal. She ran to her child and embraced her placing her on the sofa nearby.
Bret, who could finally move. Thought this was a chance dragged his damaged body out of the garden and ran away as fast as possible.
Jena didn’t even look at the scum getting away instead worried about her daughter, cleaning her bleeding nose. She checked her heartbeat and breathing indicating she only lost consciousness finally became relived. She looked past the door not finding her scum of a husband. Her usual rage and arrogance were gone, but she felt a tinge of regret, not making him suffer for all the torture he had done to her. She wanted to kill him then and there but the little bit of sanity she had because of her daughter. She knew killing him would bring a whole lot of problems.
But for now everything was okay. She was fine, her daughter was fine and that shit was nowhere near herself and her daughter.
She reminisce the feeling of power and pride filling her body and was not frightened like before. At that moment she was scared cause she was going to hurt Devy but this same power had gave her enough strength and confidence to tackle her long lived fear.
For the first time in four years, she finally had a peace of mind and it was all possible because of a lucky encounter who she thought to be god.
But he had helped her in every way possible, even now without his presence she and her daughter were somehow saved by his mysterious powers.
‘he really must have been a god.’ She thought.

All time clothing, 7th floor, head office.
Atlas was copying all the new data from every file he got his hands on. Bela was there too watching him doing his work. She had many plans for him the coming following days and smiled thinking he was doing his job properly learning about all the material the “ATC” did business upon.
He only looked at a page for a second and moved to another right after. She was amazed as she saw someone with high perception and memory capabilities like her.
Every time she spends more time with him. He never ceases to amaze her. He was efficient, hardworking, always thirsting for more info. He had the right skills to be a perfect merchant, but it was only the start and she still wanted to see how ‘faithful’ he was.
She wanted to use the lie-bracelet to ask some questions, but she refrained as she would be going to deep in his private life and it had a time limit for every twenty-four hour and its already used for the day, during morning.
She checked her profit for the week as she also needs to up her game seeing her passionate assistant. She looked at him for the last time to start working as well but saw him looking at the direction of the merchant area with strange gaze.
“what happened?” she asked.
“huh….oh…nothing, I just felt different…..somehow. I don’t know…..it’s strange.”
“oh, feeling tired already?” said bela with a teasing smile.
Atlas came back from his momentary distraction and gave a smile.
“you wish…oh! By the way. What are these files with ‘confidential’ marked on them? Don’t I have the right as your assistant to read them?”
Bela looked at the files and gave a teasing smile.
“Work hard enough and one day… I might tell you. Don’t forget. Its just your first day here. There’s more to learn, more to see.
Then you will slowly understand that the world is much bigger place than you thought it was.”
Atlas looked at her with greed. He wanted knowledge, the more the better and she was the key to that. It was only a first day, so he needed to be patient.
“ok, don’t worry, that day will come sooner than you think.”
“we will see.”
“oh, I wanted to ask, where’s the largest library in the city?”
“hhmmmm…..I would say the royal library but you already know, except the royals, nobody’s allowed.”
‘haha…I guess, I will need to visit Devy again.’
“why do you ask?” Bela asked with curiosity.
“you already know, I’m new here. So the more I know the better.”
“smart…hmmmm…”
She thought deeply for a moment.
‘I guess that much is fine.’
“follow me.”
Bela stood up from her chair and walked to the exit jiggling her buttocks along the way.
Atlas watched her back in confusion and followed her. They went to the room next door, where all the high-class clothes were stored.
Atlas saw Bela entering the familiar room. It was the same room where he entered the building to steal some clothes. Even though he had already seen all the clothes inside, he still acted he was amazed to see so many heavenly looking luxurious clothes. He was still confused why she would bring him here, when he said he wanted more info on the city. He wanted books or files, not fashionable clothing.
“you must be thinking why I brought you here.”
“not really, I know it will make sense as we keep walking.”
“oh… patient, are we?”
Again bela started walking in a familiar direction and after a few steps. There they were near the familiar titanium door.
Atlas was even more confused now. He knew what was inside and it was still not matching the description on what they talked about.
Bela used her mana and the hardest metal door opened like it was waiting for centuries to be opened. They both walked inside but there wasn’t any lights, all darkness and nothing but the darkness.
Bela clapped her hands twice, and the lights lighten up. Atlas was waiting for the white wall but what he saw was completely ….Different.
‘Surprises after surprises. huh…damn!!!!!!….?’
