THE LIGHT OF HIS WORLD - Chapter 5
After two or three days, everyone was darker by more than one degree.
Those who wore glasses and watches, once they took them off, they were a watch mark and a glasses mark, which made people cry and laugh.
All the freshmen in the senior class traveled to the military training camp by bus.
In order to facilitate management, the chief instructor divided four battalions, each going to four districts, A, B, C and D. Class 1 and 2 were in the first battalion, heading to the military training camp in district A.
After nearly two hours of driving, they finally arrived in the mountains.
Area A military training camp has a long history of cooperation with the army and has received students and recruits from one generation to another, so the camp is very well equipped with school buildings, bathhouses, canteens, training grounds and medical stations. And with the backdrop of Mount Si, there is a wonderful real-world training ground.
Of course, all this is nothing.
When the instructors brought the students to the training field, the rows of long guns set up there really made everyone’s blood boil.
The chief instructor snapped in a medium voice.
“Attention! At ease!”
“In the morning, the instructors and assistant instructors of each class will teach you how to use the guns and how to operate them, and in the afternoon, we will have a class competition. Now each class will listen to the instructor’s arrangement.”
Instructor Chen organized a class to sit in place, first explained the structure of the Type 56 semi-automatic rifle composition, and then practiced with the assistant instructor.
“The left hand holds the body of the rifle upward, the butt rests against the shoulder socket of the right shoulder, while the right hand holds the handle tightly, the index finger presses against the outer edge of the trigger and aims. Three points into a line, when confirming the aim, should be careful not to …..”
It is reasonable to say that the theoretical knowledge will make people drowsy, but this group of children who have never seen and touched a real gun, which do not want to try hands-on, so they all listened intently.
Fifteen minutes later, instructor Chen in the form of 1/2/3/4 report randomly formed learning groups, a group of four people for gun training.
Lin Jia Xi and Huang Yi Yi, Zhou Congee, and…
“Jane, Bai?” A group.
Huang Yiyi: “Jane Bai, you’re in our group?”
“Well, let’s begin.”
Instructor Chen instructed each group one by one, and it was their group’s turn.
“This male student’s posture is very standard, one step in place, very good, you guide a few of their girls.” He pointed to Lin Jia Xi and the others.
“Then Jane Bai will trouble you.” Huang Yi Yi was the first to perform the gun racking exercise.
Zhou Congee followed, Jane Bai corrected a few points, and then it was Lin Jia Xi’s turn.
She walked to the point bent down and recalled the main points of the action while setting up the gun.
Jane Bai knelt down from one side on one foot.
“Shoulders up a little more.”
Lin Jia Xi adjusted, tilted her head slightly and asked him softly, “Like this?”
A crystal bead of sweat slid from the young girl’s temples, down her cheeks, and blossomed in the mud.
“Not bad.” He averted his gaze.
Then came the target practice.
Instructor Chen: “Remember, conscious aiming, unconscious firing! The posture should be standardized to stabilize the sight. I will ask a few students to demonstrate.”
Several boys came forward, and Jane Bai was among them, and several people shot at the same time.
One shot.
Two shots.
Three shots.
The assistant coach went to check the results and then came back to report that they all shot well without missing the target, basically all above 8 rings. Among them, Jane Bai had a 9.9-ring shot.
“Wow!”
“Awesome, God!”
The whole class applauded with excitement.
……
Lin Jia Xi racked the gun to try to aim and then shoot, but the result was always off target.
Alas, she sighed a sigh, so difficult oh.
“Shoulder hard against the gun, so that it is easy to stabilize.”
Jane Bai came over and squatted down. He dragged the back end of the rifle with one hand, lightly supported Lin Jia Xi’s right shoulder with the other, and then slightly pressed his hand so that the gun rested against her shoulder.
“Mmm.” She ate the pain.
“Bear with it.”
“Mm.”
“First try three-point aiming, don’t shoot deliberately, go by your feeling.”
After a few times, she slowly found a little feeling, just as instructor Chen came to their group to test.
“Bang!”
Jane Bai ran to look at the target and came back with a ratio of 8.
8 rings.
She couldn’t believe it, “Really?!”
She looked at him and smiled brighter than the sun.
In a rare moment, the corners of Jane Bai’s mouth curved up a little, “No lie.”
