THE LONG LOST LOVE (T3L) - Chapter 126：You Leave Me Breathless

“Hic…Hic…As…Wake up!”

“As…Please..open your eyes. I beg of you..” Athena pumping his heart using both of her hand.

They are now at the top of the ice mountain. They manage to get out from the caves, however, the bomb impact hit them pretty bad.

Aslan uses his body to cover Athena from being hurt, and as a result, he burned half of his body. His wound did not merge back as it uses to be.

Not getting any sign of a heartbeat, Athena cry even harder.

“As…Please…Don’t leave me again.” Athena was so desperate, she turns his body around and looks at the burning wound on his body.

His wound is seriously bad. She couldn’t stop her tears by just looking at his body.

She takes her Katana and slices her palm. She uses her last resort, her blood.

She uses her blood on his burning wound and hoping that Aslan will open his eyes again.

“Please…Please..let this work out. I beg of you, God!”

The burning scar did heal his burning wound and injuries on his abdomen, but she needs to use a lot of her blood to makes him fully healed.

After almost twenty minutes, she was exhausted. Her face turns pale and her body starts to feel a bit numb.

She falls on his side and passes out.

“Sir!” One of Adrian’s men shouts from the afar.

Adrian turns to look at the one who shouted.

“There’s survivor here!”

“What? Send medics team now!” Adrian instructs his men to call out the medics team.

Went to the place where his men found the survivor, Adrian almost faint. Because he was so happy, but yet he was so worried that Athena and Aslan might have side effect after the bomb.

Ralph and his team were in a tent when suddenly there’s a soldier telling them to go to the side of the top of the mountain.

Top of the mountain is filled with the thick snow and they had to use the chopper to go there.

Once they arrive, Ralph immediately went to Aslan, while Ali went to Athena. They both check their condition before they move them to the tent.

Richard, Hai Rin, Andy, and Hazel went straight away to their location after they got a call about their situation.

“It seems both of them can’t use their abilities to regenerate their injuries. It may be because of the effect that the laser bomb launched and they both can’t get far enough that time.” Ali explains to them.

“Is there anything that can do to make them awake?” Hai Rin ask.

“I..I don’t know if this can be used or not. But I suggest to give them a cure. Once their body system cleanses from the superhuman solution, I think they might be awake back. It’s like rebooting the system.”

“But, what if they did not awake as you predict? I mean, even my daughter and Ramon’s son still not awake until now.” Hazel voices out her concern.

She was afraid. Afraid that she might experience another one of her children went into a long coma. Just like Rachael. It’s been months since the rescue mission, yet she still not waking up.

“Honey…It’s better than do nothing, Both of them is so strong you know, I believe he will wake up and he will be together again with Athena.” Andy tries to calm Hazel. He knows Hazel is a bit sad and worries about both of them, but doing nothing is also not an option for him.

“I..”

“I agree.” Hai Rin said and then she looks at Richard like she was asking for some strength from him.

Nod his head, Richard also agrees with his wife decision.

“If it can at least give us hope, then, I’m in.” Richard says as he holds Hai Rin’s shoulder.

Ali and Ralph turn to look at Hazel and Andy.

“Honey..”

Sighing heavily, she finally nods her head. “Go for it, then.”

“They’ll be fine, honey..” Andy whispers to Hazel, hugs her and turns to look at Ali and Ralph.

He nods his head. “Let’s give them the cure.”

Beep Beep Beep Beep

Aslan scrunch his eyebrow when he heard a machine sound. His head feels so much in pain, not only that, his muscle and all of his body feel like he was just grilled alive.

He tries to open his eyes slowly. The light from the outside makes it hard to keep his eyes open. He needs to readjust his cornea.

“Mmmmhh..” He groans a bit.

“Brother As? Are you awake?” Raisya who is currently on her duty to check on her brother immediately stand up and try to help her brother.

“Mmmm…” He tries to hold his head.

“Do not move too much. You’ll hurt your body.” Raisya tries to warn her brother.

“Wait here, I call the doctor.” Raisya went to the nurse station at the front of their room.

Once the nurse went inside, they help Aslan to sit up and he tries to open his eyes slowly. His eyes color has changed back to its green color.

“Athena….I need to..” His throat feels so thirsty and so dry too.

“She’s not waking up yet. You should get your body rest first, brother. Your injury is pretty bad and luckily your skin was able to regenerate back by using Athena’s method so it will not leave a scar.” Raisya tries to calm him down.

“Athena..” He pulls out his lines and wants to stand up from the bed.

Sighing helplessly, Raisya helps her brother to properly stand up and led him to the side of his room. Pull the curtain, Raisya let her brother see his wife.

They both stay in the same room. Athena was still in a coma.

Take a seat beside her, he caresses her hair gently. His eyes a bit reddened.

“Baby..” He said slowly.

Raisya leaves the room and waited at the waiting lounge not far from the nurse station. Giving his brother space and time with his beloved wife.

Holds her hand, he brings it to his lips. “Baby…wake up. I’m here.”

Silent.

He almost tears up. With a raspy voice, he says..

“Do you remember? When we first met? I think we’ve met at grandpa’s Ang mansion. That time, your cat got stuck on the tree and I help you get your cat down.” He chuckles a bit.

“You kiss me that day. Even though I don’t know why you did that. That is the first time I had you in my heart. I even return your kiss on your birthday. I don’t know if you remember it or not.”

He caresses her back of the hand and continues again.

“I’ve been trying to confess to you my feeling back then so many times, but you keep makes me wondering if I am capable enough to win your heart. I mean, you’re Lee’s princess. I just an adopted son of your father’s ex-butler. As the times go flies, I didn’t manage to confess anything to you. You distant yourself to me after that incident. You lock yourself out from my reach after that day and we went separate for many years.”

“Who would have thought that I’ll marry you that day? My first love, the only girl that I’ve liked since I was five until now.. it remains you alone and the only one, Athena. It was you who able to make me this vulnerable and willing to do anything just for you. I don’t care if you change, I still love you and will only love you.”

“You know what? If our love is a storybook, we would meet on the very first page. I guess the last chapter will be about, how I’m thankful for the life we’ve made. If we had babies they would look like you. It’d be so beautiful if that came true. Athena, you don’t even know how very special you are. You leave me breathless, Athena. You everything good in my life. So, please…I begging you. Don’t leave me alone. I won’t able to live without you in my life.”
