THE LONG LOST LOVE (T3L) - Chapter 127：What The Hell Is Happening?

Athena scrunches her eyebrow. She heard every single word that Aslan utter just now. She was so touched to hear that. The confession that supposed to happen years ago on Lu’s island.

Without noticing, her tears flow down on her cheek.

Aslan notices her wet eyes, he wipes her tears gently and kisses her lips.

Slowly, she tries to open her eyes. Even though the effect pain still lingering in her nerves, she still wants to move her hand and touch Aslan’s cheek.

“Baby..” her voice was a bit raspy.

Open his eyes, he looks at her with a smile on his face. “Thank you, Athena. I love you.”

He hugs her.

“H..Hurt..” Athena squinted her eyes a bit.

Release the hugs, he immediately checks on her body. “Hurt? Where? I call the doctor right now.” He wants to go but Athena immediately holds his hand.

Turning around, Athena shakes her head.

“Stay by my side..please.”

Nods his head, he sits again on the bed beside her.

“Where did you feel pain?” He asks worriedly.

“It’s okay As…I can endure this pain. It’ll go away very soon.” She smiles at him.

Aslan did not reply anything to her. He holds her hand and stares at her lovingly.

“Hey As…”

“Hm?”

“I…I overheard your confession just now. Is it true that you love me back then?”

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Aslan nods his head.

“That’s a relief..”

“Why?”

“Because…I too love you back then Aslan. I’ve loved you for the twelve years now.”

“Really? Then about Zo..”

“He really is my boyfriend back at my university days. I know he loves me, but he also knows that I love you. I try to love him as much as I love you..but…no matter what I do I just can’t…I can’t love him as I love you.”

He caresses her cheek. “About Jye Yin…I did have a thought about being with her and try to have a real relationship with her. Just like you, I didn’t have the same feeling as I feel to you. That is why I never say anything to her.”

Athena’s eyes lit up a bit. “But As…she said to me that you both love each other. It really broke my heart that day.”

“Hm? I never date her. You’re the only one that I want Athena.”

Sighing, she feels so regret. Why didn’t she ask Aslan by herself back then? Why she let her jealousy take control over her?

“Hey…”

Aslan cupped her face and made her look at him.

“Athena Lee…Even without you telling me, I will still be your husband and you will still be my wife. If I really don’t want to meet with you again, I won’t be coming to that wedding that day.”

“Mm. I glad that I marry you that day, Aslan Smith.”

“Me too, Athena Lee.”

Leaning their face close to each other, they kiss each other with passionately.

Few days have passed since the day they woke up.

Athena and Aslan are totally free from the mutation effect while all of other Golden V also cured by the doses that Ralph manage to get that day.

The team has split up and lived their life. They don’t need to be in hiding anymore.

Sun House also still in the process of making a new mansion. While waiting for the mansion to be fully complete, Andy’s family staying at Aslan’s mansion.

The house is livelier with more people staying there.

Athena went to visit Zoro and Rachael when Aslan already start to take over his company back.

Like always, she brings a new flower to the room and changes the old flower to the new one into the vase.

While she was busy arranging the flower, suddenly Zoro’s heartbeat spike up and the machine makes a loud sound.

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep

Athena immediately runs to the nurse station, informing them of the abnormality in his condition.

“Nurse! Help!”

Zoro gasping loudly like he was so shocked, he sits up and he immediately turns to observe around him.

Looking at Athena at the door calling for the nurse, he even becomes more panic.

“At..Athena..” He stuttered and call her name.

Turning her head around, she went to Zoro.

“Z…Are you okay? Are you feeling any pain? Where did you feel it?” Athena asks worriedly.

“Rach! Where’s Rachel? What year is this? Where am I? Where is Rach!” He pulls out the line on his arm, trying to get off from the bed.

“Z..calm down.” Athena tries to control his emotion. He looks rather pale. His expression is like he was so sad and scared at the same time.

“I can’t! What year is this?” He almost tearing up.

“2044. Z…What happen?” Athena rubs his shoulder gently.

“Rachael..Where is she?” He already cries.

Scrunches her eyebrow, Athena tilts her head a little and look at behind Zoro’s back.

“She’s there.”

He flinches a bit. Look up at her like he wants to know if she telling him the truth.

Athena nods her head. “You both went into a coma after the rescuing mission last time,”

“Mission?” He tries to remember and after a few moments, he suddenly remembers that day.

“Yeah.”

Turn his body around, he looks at Rachael who still lying at his side of the bed. He hurriedly went to her bed.

Athena becomes more curious when seeing his action. ‘What happen to him?’

“Rach, baby..I’m here..I’m back.. come on, wake up.” He tries to shake her body a little.

“Rach..”

“Er…Z…You shouldn’t do that to her..” Athena said cautiously

‘What the hell is he talking about? When do they start going out? They just went to one mission and now they already in so in love? What the hell is happening?’ Athena scratches her temples a bit.
