Aslan was dumbstruck with the fact that she only had with twenty or less year to live. That’s obviously didn’t included with her period that’ll take two or three years more from her life span.

His eyes start to redden and teary.

“Athena..” he hugs her tightly.

Athena could hear and feel his trembling voice and his trembling body. She closed her eyes and caressing his back of the body using her both hands, trying to give him courage.

“Hey… it’s my fate. Don’t blame yourself. I didn’t regret anything from it.” she comforts him.

‘At least, before my last breath, I could be your wife.’

He did not reply to anything.

Two weeks have passed.

The news about Jye Yin being pregnant are spreading through the net world. All the netizen start attacking Aslan for being a bad guy and worst man ever.

Aslan also did not state anything regarding his name being ridiculed and slander from the fans. His company just revived from the huge loss from the last scandal. Now the new scandal is driving his company being a target again.

The news about the DNA test also has been spread by the fans. In the interview, Jye Yin slips out her word saying that she will be taken the DNA test for the baby as per Aslan’s mother requested.

Again, the whole net world being bombarded by the news. All the fans start firing Hazel’s name. Many of the info regarding her is the great doctor from Arendell has been spread out and those people accused her would do the dirty trick to cover up the DNA report later.

A protest group has been formed and request for Jye Yin to take the DNA test from other hospitals which are not from Hazel or any of her acquaintance.

Hazel was so furious about the news. Her good name has been stained by the stupid artist. She calls Aslan which is in the middle of the meeting.

“Mom?”

“Listen here, Aslan Smith! You better warn that friend of yours to stop messing things around. Or…I will really make her abort the baby. Hmph!” She ended the call.

Aslan was dumbstruck. He put his phone on the desk and rub his forehead a little.

“Okay, continue.” He said to all the other executive board director.

While in Aslan’s backyard.

Three of the staple tree has been cut by Athena using her katana. Oh well, it just banana staple. She cut the banana bunches and carry it to the center of the forest.

She climbs the big and old tree and sits at the branch with the banana bunches.

Not long after that, a group of monkeys starts to gather around her.

She extended the banana to one of the monkeys. Slowly they come closer and snatch the banana away.

“Pfftt..I’m not eating it. I took it for you. Come, enjoy your food.” she said to those of the monkeys.

She starts to throw the banana one by one to the monkeys and they catch it like they were playing American football.

“You know, I’m so envious with you all. Being so free and having no problem to face it…Ahhh…why do I have to born as human??” she leaned on the branch with her arm covering her face.

Extended her hand facing her, she looks at her back of palm for some times.

“Will he mourn when I die someday?” she mumbles.

Aurora waiting at the front of the room inside the bank. She takes a day off and went to the bank for applying for a loan.

“Miss.” one of the bank clerks call her to went inside the room.

When she went inside the room that opened by the clerk, she stuns a moment.

Lowered her eyes, she went inside and sit at the seat facing the man.

That man seems busy seeing the paperwork before he put the paper aside and look at the tray on the right side while took another form which is her details in it.

“So..miss..” he diverts his eyes back to the form.

He scrunches and said with a bit shocked. “Aurora?”

Breathe in, she looks up to him. “Yes.”

“What are you doing here?” Yin Li said with a bit curious in his voice.

“The form state that I want to applying for a housing loan.” She replies without a hitch. She also changes the way she looks at him when she sees his face.

“Didn’t you return back to Imperial?”

“No, sir. I work here. That is why I applying for this loan.”

“Why? Why you need to struggle yourself when you had no limit on your money?”

“You wrong sir, in the form state that I just working as a librarian. Did my account had any problem for applying for this housing loan?”

Yin Li turn silent. He clearing his throat and look at the form back.

‘Don’t bother Yin Li. She’s not your wife anymore.’

“We proceed your loan and we will contact you in further.” He said.

Stand up from the sit, she said “Thank you.” she smiles and walk out from the room.

Loosen the tie, he leaned on his swivel chair.

“She looks different from before. Where all the makeup go? Where her fancy dress? She didn’t wear any jewelry too.” he mumbles.

Aurora sigh of reliefs once she was out from the room.

‘He looks different. He looks more splendid like he used to. He really stresses out when he was with me huh?’

“Hey, how is it go?” Ralph leaned on the car waiting for her at the side parking outside the bank.

“Hey..it was okay.” she smiles and walks to him.

“Dinner?”

“Hmm…I make my own dinner today.” she looked at her watch.

“I send you home.”

“Thanks. But I don’t live in this neighborhood. I rent a house which is a bit far. Is it okay for you to send me home?”

“Of course it is okay. You’re a woman, at least you need a man to protect you.”

“Pfftt…I can protect myself.”

“Yeah right. Come on.” he opens the door for her.

“Thank you.” She replies and gets inside his car.

After buckle up, he drives off from the street. They went straight to her home.

“Did this need to wash too?” Ralph ask while looking at the bean sprouts and carrot on his hand.

“Yup.” Aurora nod and continue to cook.

Today she wants to try some new menu that she has been learning with her family private chef back at the Lee Mansion two weeks ago.

For diverting her sadness, she learned a lot of things and keep busying herself until she had no time to think about Yin Li. She didn’t forget him and the love for him still lingering on her heart, but she tries to not thinking much about it.

“Okay..and, how do I cut this?”

“Hmm…come here..” she stretches her hand to him.

Passing the cutting board and the knife to her, he went to her with the carrot.

“I think its suppose to be like this.”

Thump!

“Ow ow ow..” She cried out.

“Oh my god Aurora.. you’re so careless.” he grabs her injured finger to the sink.
