Knock knock!

Jye Yin with lazily open the door and once she saw who was standing in front of her room right now, she snickering inwardly.

‘Huh…I do have a backup plan.’

“Oh my, Raisya! How are you? You look beautiful as ever!” She said with excitement.

Raisya smile happily. “Sis Jye Yin, I’m fine. How was the baby? You should not be standing for too long.”

“Ah, right! Come in. The baby was fine. What are you doing here?” She asks.

“Well, I just worried about your condition. After all, you stayed at my brother’s house. So it’ll be easy for me to check on you. You carry my niece in there.” She looks at Jye Yin’s belly.

“So nice of you. Thank you for your concern. Your sister-in-law treats me well so far. She left the servant at my will. It’ll be easier for me so that I don’t need to move around much.”

“Did my brother come and see you yet?”

“Uh, no.. it just your sister-in-law who come and see me. She said that your brother is busy right now. Maybe I should not be bothering him.” she said with a bit sad tone.

“Hmm..I’ll go and talk with my brother.”

“Eh, Raisya..no need. I’m okay. I got a lot of time to meet him later. Don’t worry about me.” She holds Raisya hand and sits again.

Raisya sighing and sit. She feels sorry for Jye Yin, she pregnant with her brother’s child, yet, her brother made Jye Yin like she was a stranger. They used to be a good friend since they were kids. They also had a feeling for each other, but because of her sister-in-law, Athena who suddenly coming out from nowhere and now be her brother’s wife, Jye Yin was put aside and ignored by her brother. All because of Athena.

“Hmm. Fine. I talk to him tomorrow. Oh, sis Jye Yin, how about if we watch some movie at the theater room?” she suddenly got an idea to cheering Jye Yin.

“Theater room? Where is that?”

“Oh, at the right wing.”

“Uhm..I’m not allowed to go there. your sister-in-law forbids me from going there. She said that it’s her and her husband area only. No other person can pass there except for the servant to do their duty.”

“What?! She said that?” Raisya was surprised. As far as she knows, that she used to go there with Aslan consent. He never said anything about it either.

No one said that it was a forbidden place. Why when her sister-in-law start to move in, everything in this house changed? What’s so special about her that Aslan is now totally pampered her and do everything that she said?

They married for almost a year, but there is no news at all about her wanted a child. In fact, her brother did sleep with his almost ‘girlfriend’. That’s what she thought.

She did not believe that her brother was drunk or drugged that day. She believes that they ‘do it’ with a mutual feeling. Maybe that Athena can’t satisfy her brother, and he can’t just divorce her because she is the ‘Lee’ after all.

‘Grr..this woman. She’s being overboard.’

“Ah, Raisya that’s okay. I don’t mind if I can’t go there. I mean there’s a lot another space that I can use right?”

“Hmm…Don’t worry. I will talk to my brother tomorrow. Sis Jye Yin can ask me for help if you want okay?” Raisya said.

Aslan already prepares her, her own room at his house. Not only her, but all of his family also had their own room. The house is so big and his sister always coming here when they had a school break.

The next morning,

Athena opened her eyes slowly. She saw that Aslan already getting ready with the tie and suit.

“Mmm..going to your office today?” She asks while rubbing her eyes a bit.

Went over to her, he kisses her cheek. “Yup. I got an important meeting today. The board of director also request a meeting regarding the stock and other issues too so I might go home a bit late. Are you okay about staying at home? Or do you want to follow me to the office today?” He tilts his head.

She also does the same, tilting her head looking at him. “Ermm…I think I’ll stay at home. I worried that Jye Yin might have bad morning sickness.”

“Why you so caring about her pregnancy?” Aslan scrunches his eyebrow.

“Hmm..she carry your baby As…Of course, I want to make sure your child is in a good condition.” She said casually making Aslan scrunch even more.

“Athena, it’s not my baby. I’m not the one who makes her pregnant.” He cupped Athena’s face and stare at her.

Noticing that she just slip out her word, she lowered her gaze.

“I’m sorry. But, As..you’re not barren like me. How could you said something so confident that it’s not yours..sooner or later, you’ll have your own kids too. Maybe not with me..”

Before she could finish her words, Aslan sealed her lips with his kiss.

“Don’t say something that’ll hurt my heart, Athena. I don’t care even if I don’t have any kid with you. I will not marry anyone else. Not in this life.” he ȧssured her for countless time.

‘But, you’ll be lonely when I’m gone. You’ll be alone until you die. I don’t want that to happen to you. I don’t want something like that for the one that I loved with all my heart.’

Kissing her forehead, he said again. “If you want to come with me, get dressed now.”

Athena brush off of her thought and tug his hand on his shirt. She shakes her head. “I’ll stay at home. You be careful on the road. Call me when you had free time. Okay?”

“Okay, sweetheart.”

Athena blinks her eyes a few times. ‘Hm? Did I hear it wrong? He called me sweetheart isn’t he?’

“I’ll be heading downstairs first. Hurry up and take a shower. Don’t lure me for too long. I’m afraid that I might not be able to restrain myself anymore.” He chuckles and went over to the stand-mirror at the corner of the room.

Athena blushed and she immediately grabs her robe and went to the bathroom. While Aslan already smiling seeing she run to the bathroom while adjusting his tie.

‘Yeah. I really love you, Athena. I couldn’t even imagine how my life will turn out to be if you’re not around me. I never know that I could love someone like this. You’re the only one.’
