THE LONG LOST LOVE - Chapter 68

After taking her blood, the sample of her blood has been put into an iron vault underground of the Lee Pharma building.

The system has been turning on by Zoro. He designed the security system at Lee Zhing’s company.

Tonight Athena will be sleeping at her own house. She has been leaving her house for months. She really missing it.

Aurora sends her off at her house before she went back to the mansion with Ralph.

Turn on her switch, she smiles happily,

“Home sweet home.” she put down her bag and went to the wooden panel sliding door. Press the buŧŧon, her gallery starts to move up from the underground to her lawn.

She opens the glass door and turns on the lights.

Open the cloth that covers the canvas, she starts to sort out her brushes and paint color.

She wants to draw something. Something with a theme of ‘hope’. she’s not even changing her shirt when she starts. She was so absorbed until when Zoro knock on her glass window.

“Hey princess..come out and have dinner with me.”

Athena put down her brushes and went to the main house with Zoro.

Like always, both of them help each other to serve the dinner in the kitchen.

“So, did you get anything Z?” Athena asks about the task that she ask him to find.

“I did. But still in progress. I will get all the details at least before or after we leave to the Borneo.”

“Oh..so far, anything interesting that you get?”

“Oh yes..” he smiles.

Take the plate to the table, both of them taken a sit facing each other.

“Do you remember the day he went out with your husband a day before the ‘nightstand’ scandal?”

“Mhm.” Athena nodded and pick her slices of carrot to her mouth.

“I got the proof that she almost fell from the escalator, but that time, your caring husband help her and she accidentally grabs his arm, making him had a little scratch on his arm.”

Athena rolled her eyes, she tries to remember that night. When they had sėx she did notice his arm had a scratch, but he said it just a small matter. So both of them not paying much attention to it. Well, of course, their attention at somewhere else that night.

“I did notice he had a scratch on his arm.”

“And there is video both of them went to the washroom after that. But I was curious because when I play the video on the slow motion, I could spot there is one person standing beside her. Looking so suspicious. Even though they didn’t say anything or had any reaction, I still feel a bit curious.”

“And?”

“And the next is..in the morning before the tragedy, she went to a subway and get off at the next station. I mean, why did she want to take the subway for a short stroll? After she gets off, she went back to her hotel.”

“Maybe she left her purse?”

“That’s impossible. If she left her purse, how is she able to take the train? How is she able to pay the cab?”

“Okay…I take back my word.”

“So, I did a little check on the subway recording that day. I did not find anything weird, but I find something interesting though..”

“What is it?”

“I found that suspicious man was there after she went to the subway. They make it looks like they in a different direction. I had a feeling, he passes something to her.”

“Mmm..but it can be that just a coincidence they in the same place and time.”

“Maybe.. but I run some facial track on him. The result is very shocking though..” he forked his broccoli and munch it.

Athena sips her drink and looks at him. Lift up her eyebrow asking him ‘Who?’

“He used to work in the genetics lab. He specialized in genome production.”

“Oh…” Athena blinks her eyes a few times. She feels like she was dreaming. Jye Yin willing to go to that extent?

“But for now, I still waiting for the record in that hotel that day. The floor that she stayed in is a VIP area. There is only a camera in the hallway. All the record for the staff who serve her also has been checked thoroughly. So maybe tomorrow or the day after, I will get the result.”

Athena feels a bit nervous to wait for the result. She wants to know how did she get a contact with a person like that? She even dares to go to that extension just to make Aslan take all the blame. Why? Isn’t she is friend with him?

“So, princess..what are you gonna do tomorrow?” Zoro asks her after she’s been silent for a few minutes.

“Painting. I still had a job awaiting me… the spring contest is nearby. But I still not prepared my painting yet.”

“Wow… I really admire you. How come you still had a mood for painting when you had an issue that you need to worried about? Your husband scandal, your safety on the trip, your dose and now is Jye Yin’s issue. You are really amazing. You can keep it all under your control.”

“Maybe because I had a lot of reliable person behind my back. I had you, I had my husband, I had Ralph and my family. All of you help me go through all of this…I glad that I surrounded by good people as you.” She smiles.

Zoro also smiles to her. “As long as you happy.”

“Z…find yourself a very very good girl, will you?”

“Don’t worry. I will. I will wait until someone can steal your place in my heart. I wonder, what kind of woman is she.”

“A very very good girl. I guarantee it.”

“Yeah..right..” he chuckles. Finishing their dinner, Zoro went back to his home after that.

While Athena went to her bathroom, took a bath and change into her nightgown, she sends to Aslan a text.

‘5D call?’

Beep! Aslan reply to her.

‘Give me 5 more minutes.’

She waits until 5 minutes and then she got a text from Aslan. ‘Turn on your device.’

Put down the rounded shape device like a ball at the floor near her bed and link it with her phone.

Within 5 seconds, Aslan figure starts to form out from the ball device.

He standing at the side of the bed.

“Did you miss me?” the first thing that Aslan asking her.

Athena chuckles. She went to him and she touches his lips. It’s not like she can feel him in real, she just touches the air actually.

“I miss you badly.” she stares his eyes.

“Don’t make that voice. I really want to hug you right now.” he also touches her face.

“Hm. As, where are you? It’s supposed in the evening right now at Arendell right?”

“At home, in our bedroom. You text me when I just returned from work. I still not change my attire yet.”

“Oh..sorry..”

“Don’t be. I feel so lonely when you’re not here.”

“Hm me too.”

“Then, come home..”

“Not yet As..”

“I’ll come to you..”

“Settle your problem first. Its almost done right?”

“Yeah..”

“Then come to me when you’re done.”

“Yes.”
