“Come this way Rachael, I will check on your wound.” She leads Rachael to the treatment bed.

Zoro was still in the room, sitting on the chair while Ming Ye pull the curtain.

“Now, let’s see your wound.” She helps Rachael to take off her clothes and facing her back of the body.

“Erm, so you did put the betadine after you get hurt?” She asks when she sees the wound is not in a bad condition.

“Not me, Z is the one who applied it on me.” She replies and that makes Ming Ye startle a moment.

Zoro also shocked by what he heard.

“O..oh…Is that so?” She cleans up the wound using a saline solution before she takes a closer look at the deep cut on her back of the body.

“Erm..your deep cut need to stitch. I will find the tray and you wait here for a moment okay?” She flips the curtain and went to find the surgical suture tools and anesthetic syringe needle.

After a moment, Ming Ye went back to the bed and place the tray on the moveable table.

“It will sting a bit.” She said to Rachael before she injects her with the anesthetic and starts sewing her wound.

“It might leave a scar, but if you treat it with good care, the scar won’t be too obvious.”

“Hmm.”

“You’re young, so don’t worry. There’ll be a bunch of boys who will date you.” She chuckles.

“Well, I don’t date boys. I want to date men. An ȧduŀt like Zoro is my type.” She said while frowned a bit try to endure the pain on her back.

Ming Ye once again startles with her answer. Zoro keeps silents. Knowing that Rachael is a bit annoying and shameless, he had no word to say anymore.

“But, Zoro might love someone else. You know, ȧduŀt men doesn’t have eyes to the younger girls. Adult men tend to like someone, a woman who has a job, and stable and more mȧturė. ” She tried to reason with her.

“Hm? Like you are what you mean?”

“Well, that can be too.” She blushed.

“Are you his girlfriend?” Rachael asks out of blue.

Zoro at the behind of the curtain cough a bit. Feeling a bit uncomfortable to hear them talk about him while he still in the room.

“Uhmm…Well, I will, if he accept me. Right Zoro?”

“Huh? Ah..yeah..” Zoro just replies that so there’s no more topic about love and him.

‘So he’s willing to accept her, but not to accept me? Because I am just a little girl to his eyes?’

Rachael turns silent after hearing his answer. Ming Ye also turn silent. She was in the cloud nine right now when her unintentionally confessing got a positive reply from him.

She has been admiring him since they still in university. Because Athena was always with him, she doesn’t have a chance to properly confess to him what she feels back then until she heard that the two of them are now officially together as a couple.

But recently her family went to Lee’s wedding and tell her that the one who got married that day is Athena and not Aurora her twin sister.

And now, she got the opportunity again. She used to contact him, but just as a friend and not more than that. He is hard to get to go out for a drink.

“Okay, done! You need to make sure your suture area is clean and make sure to apply the medicine that I will prescribe for you.” After Rachael wear her shirt back, Ming Ye pull the curtain.

Rachael looks unhappy. She keeps silents until they in the car.

“Are you hungry?” Zoro asks. He feels a little awkward seeing the silent Rachael beside him.

She shakes her head and diverts her eyes to the outside of the window. Staring at the blue sky.

“Did your back hurt?”

She shakes her head again. “My heart hurt.” She mumbles with a low voice.

“Huh?”

“Nothing.”

After fetching Ali from the lab and bring him to Athena’s house, Zoro went back to his house. He needs to conduct a meeting online with his business partner.

While Rachael already packing up her things. She needs to return back to her life as a student. Her short break is almost over and she also needs to clear up things together with her family to her brother.

“Athena, is everything’s okay?” Ali went to her and sit beside her. He looks at her with a bit of concern.

“Ali..” She handed him her pregnancy test. Her eyes start to teary again.

Gulp a bit, he takes the test kit and looks at it.

“When did you found out?” He asks.

“This morning.”

“Have you discuss with your husband?”

Athena shakes her head. “No..”

“So, what do you think about this?” He wants to know her opinion.

“I want this baby so badly. But I want to live longer too. I’m so greedy. I’m not able to let go both of them.” She starts sobbing.

Ali also turns silent. He tries to find a good word for her.

“Hmm, in this life, there is no such thing as immortal. Everyone will die, it’s just a matter of times. I think, there is another way for you to keep both of them. But, I’m sure your sanity will not let you to do that. If you ask me, I will say that you should save your life first and you can have a bunch of children later, but I know it sounds so cruel to you. Discuss this matter with your husband. I will still be preparing your dose, just in case.”

“The other way to keep them both?”

“Yes.”

“How?”

“You need to become superhuman. It’s a combining of your blood with other five Golden V. it’s a very risky decision. The result can make your baby save or maybe not. But, once you turn into a superhuman. I can’t guarantee your soul will be the same as you right now or not. As I said before, this is a very last option. But I’m not suggesting it to you to consider it. It’s best if you can talk this over with your husband.” He smiles at her.

“But my condition is so weak. I can’t go on travel if I’m like this.”

“I will try to figure out something that can make your energy replenish back without harming the baby. But! You still need to choose. I can’t give you the doses if you are pregnant. It’ll affect all your body system and the baby too.”

“Thanks, Ali. I owed you so much.” She wipes her tears.

A few hours earlier,

“Take care Li…I will return as soon as possible.” Aurora tiptoeing and kisses his lips.

“Mm. Make sure you return back to me.” He hugs her for a while before he let it go.

“I love you Aur.” Yin Li said it with a gentle voice and ċȧrėsses her cheek dearly.

“I love you too, Li.” She smiling happily.

Waves him goodbye, she left the airport once he went to boarding gates.
