THE LONG LOST LOVE - Chapter 92

“Okay Athena, I’ll see you again when we have time.” She hugs her little sister and kisses her on both of her cheeks.

“Please take care of yourself and the baby. If you decide on what you want to do with the baby. Do tell me, okay?” She reminds her.

“Okay..you too. Tell me if you need anything.” She smiles at Aurora.

“Nah..I’m okay. I will prove to our parents that my love is not that easy to broke up again. Not this time I guess.” She shrugged her shoulder.

“Hmm..okay, I’m happy for you.”

“Well, you too..have a good talk with your husband. Goodbye Athena.” She said and waves her hand.

After she watches the yacht start to sail off, one of the chauffeurs already waiting for Athena to send her home.

“Madam, where to?” Kevin, her husband trusted chauffeurs bow his head to her a little.

“My husband’s mansion.” She replies politely.

Took out her phone, she receives a lot of missed calls from Zoro, Ralph, and Aslan.

She sends a text to Zoro and Ralph telling them that she is now returning back to Arendell for a short trip.

And for Aslan, she dialing his number. After a few rings, he picks her calls up.

“Baby?”

Athena startles a moment. ‘Baby? Which baby?’

“Uh hey..”

“Where are you? Why I can’t call your phone?” He asks worriedly.

“Uhmm..I’m on my way to our house. I need to talk to you about something.” She said in a serious tone.

Aslan scrunches his eyebrow a little when he heard her voice. Why she make that serious tone.

“Okay. But I might be returning a bit late tonight.”

“That’s okay. I’ll wait.”

“Then, I’ll see you at home.”

“See you at home.”

The journey takes only 40 minutes to arrives at Aslan’s mansion. Once she was out from the car, all of the servants immediately line up and greet their madam.

They feel a bit of relief when their madam returning home. After she left, the house is a bit messy and they always got instructed by Miss Jye Yin. All her demands are hard to meet her expectation.

She is the one who hard to satisfied with. But in front of their master, she looks okay and well behaves. She also always wearing something so sėxy in front of their master.

Luckily their master had not taken the bait of her alluring trap. All of them thought that their master is truly love their madam, that is why whatever Miss Jye Yin does never affect their master.

He treats her just like a guest ever since the rumor about him and her being on air after the scandal. All of the intimacy between them no longer exists in their master way of treating her.

“Welcome home, Madam Athena.” All of the servants bow their head to her.

“Thank you. You may dismiss now.” She said politely and went inside the house.

Everything looks the same as when she left it last time. She smiles and wants to go upstairs.

“Oh, you’ve returned?” Jye Yin looks a bit displeased with her.

“Hm, yes. This is my house too. So I can return whenever I want right?” She mockingly smiling at her.

“No, what I meant is..Aslan never said anything about you’re return home today.”

“Oh? Why he needs to tell you if I want to return to my own house?” She stops at the staircase and turns to look at Jye Yin in the hall.

“Well, he normally tells me everything. That’s all. Anyway, welcome back Athena.” She smiles at her.

Athena also does the same. She smiles at her too. “Jye Yin, how was your baby?”

Jye Yin turns to look at her belly. She rubs her belly in a gentle way. “It’s a healthy baby. I do my regular checkup. Guess what? I can see the head and the baby’s belly too.”

“Oh really? Don’t you afraid that it might turn into something else? And not a baby like what you expected?”

Jye Yin faces immediately turn pale. She looks at Athena with a sharp gaze before she asks. “What do you mean by that? This is Aslan’s child. Of course, it will turn out to be a baby like what I expected.”

“Athena, if you can’t say something nice, how about if you just stay silent.” Raisya suddenly walks out from the kitchen. She accidentally heard their conversation and she feels like Athena just said something harsh to Jye Yin.

“Oh, Raisya..when will you return to your family house?” Athena turns to look at her little sister-in-law and smiles.

Frowned, she replies “Why do you care? This is my brother’s house. I can stay for how long I want.”

“Yeah, but this is my house too. I had a right to know when will you return right? Or maybe I can call your sister Rachael to come over, oh I miss her already. But, I think it’s even better if mom and papa come over too. Aslan must be happy with that. Oh, I should call them.” She makes an excited face and took out her phone.

“Hey..don’t call them. They don’t approve sis Jye Yin staying here, you promised to sis Jye Yin’s father about letting her get treatment and stayed here until she delivers the baby, right? So stick with your word.”

“Raisya dear…I can stick with my word if you can behave and do not interfere with my household matter. Okay?”

Jye Yin silent. She felt like this one is not the Athena she used to know. This is definitely someone else. ‘cool down, Jye Yin..’

“Whatever,” Raisya said and holds Jye Yin’s hand.

“Let’s go, sis. You should not be standing for too long. It’s not good for your baby.” She led her to the sofa and turn on the television.

Athena feels a bit hurt seeing Raisya was so caring about Jye Yin who is pregnant with a lab child while she was the one who carries the real child. Aslan’s child.

She went upstairs and took a hot bath. She was so tired because of the long journey and long hours she needs to take just to return to Arendell.

She skips her dinner since she had no appetite and she waits for Aslan to return home.

She waiting until 3 am, and she finally falls asleep on the couch in their bedroom.

Aslan returns when it almost 4 am. He actually only return to home for bath and breakfast before he needs to go back to his company.

Open the door room, he looks at the person who he misses the most. He put his suitcase on the table and loosen his tie. He scoops her in his arm and brings her to the bed.

Lay her down, he tugs her with the comforter.

“I miss you.” He kisses her cheek gently.

He went to the bathroom and took a bath. After that, he lied down beside Athena which is still sleeping. Look at the clock, he only had one hour and a half before he needs to go back to his company.

He had a meeting at 7 am with the national border security. They have been moving the rescuer and diver to a few locations that might have a lead to where the airplane and ships have gone or crash.

He hugs her from behind and kisses her shoulder. Trying to lift off the burden of his mind by hugging her.

Athena feels like someone hug her from behind. She turns her body around and finds her favorite spot. His ċhėst. She snuggling to his ċhėst.

But only for a few minutes before she suddenly sits up and runs to the bathroom.

“Athena?” Aslan asks worriedly when he see Athena run to the bathroom.

He follows behind her and heard she was throwing up in the bathroom. He rubs her back and helps to hold her hair gently while Athena keeps throwing up.

“Did you still sick?”

Athena nods.

“Want me to ask my mom to look on you?”

Athena shakes her head. She slowly raises her hand to the bedroom.

“There’s a black suitcase, bring me the syringe and a tube of glass with the yellow cap.” She said with a low voice.

“Okay.” Aslan went to the bedroom and find the black suitcase. Find the tube glass and the syringe, he shows it to Athena.

Athena wants to hold the syringe but her hand is shaking. Aslan, touch her hands. “Let me do it.”

He extracts the solution in the bottle with a yellow cap and he injects her with the solution on her arm.

Seeing she closed her eyes like she was enduring the pain makes his heart broke a bit.
