The Lord Of Evil Spirit Pets - Chapter 3
Phoenix Clan’s Phoenix Family,
The Phoenix Clan was on a beautiful mountain known as seven tail mountain. It had seven peaks with one belonging to each of the seven family phoenix branches.
With the sun descending underneath the clouds and casting its warmth in every direction, the outer sect disciples tilling the land looked up at a beautiful girl with wings flying through the sky.
She went straight towards the largest peak and then went straight into the phoenix clan leader’s window.
Her father, An Jin, was currently in the middle of getting a new phoenix matchless robe tailored for his daughter’s wedding. The Dragon Emperor himself was attending the grand occasion. His daughter’s cousin had been selected to marry An Ai because he possessed a high grade wyvern. Though not as majestic as some dragons, it was still more than he could ask for.
‘My daughter will be a matchless beauty,’ An Jin looked over at his beautiful daughter appear before him and bow. He waved his hand so she could raise and a few female attendants smiled. They had gorgeous body, and one at least had to be her father’s concubine.
‘Her mother was also a matchless beauty, but it’s a shame she died because of a stone crushing Ape.” An Jin tried to remain calm, but he couldn’t. “Damn it, An Ai, why must you look prettier than a goddess?”
“Father, I have something to tell you,” An Ai got down on her knees and bowed. “However, you must not be angry, promise.”
“I promise,” An Ai’s father smiled and waved away the royal tailor. An Ai took off the half done phoenix robe and fixed his white sleeve shirt. His black hair raised over his head and parted in two directions while he smiled. “Hehe, it’s been a long time since I’ve been so happy. Almost nothing could upset me.”
###
“This is horrible!”
“Calm down father!” An Ai held her cheek in fear of her father hitting her again. “Please! I promise he was very gentle even though he forced me into it!”
“Ah, I’m going to start a war with the dragon family!” An Jin crunched his fist into a ball. A tear dropped down his eye while his anger grew more and more. “Damn it! What kind of reverse summon is it.”
“He-he can say anything and I have to do it,” An Ai pushed her white hair away from her eyes, and tried not to start crying. “I-I’m so sorry father! He found me in the market preparing for my wedding! Please! Please keep this between us!”
“Hmmm, I can’t start a war then, but I will have to tell the Dragon emperor,” An Jin turned serious.
A Reverse summon with full control also meant An Ai’s life was in Long San’s hands. “I know what i’ll do. How about this? Invite Long San over here for dinner, and let’s try and get on his good side. Then, on the day of your wedding, we can invite him there and the Dragon Emperor can take care of him. Tell him he’s welcome any time, but in secret, I’ll prepare for his death.”
‘My father is a shrewd man,’ An Ai nodded her head. ‘However, I think he’s underestimating Long San a little bit. That-that bastard! He better never summon me again!”
###
Long San could still use his phoenix form and phoenix weapons without reverse summoning An Ai, however, it would be stupid of him to try and enter into the Frigid Woods without her.
‘I heard a few years ago a hundred year night phoenix was seen.’ Long San walked into the frigid forest, which happened to be just a small part of the greater Total Frost Sacred LAnds.
The Sacred Lands each had one powerful conqueror’s spirit vein that impacted the environment. These were either ice, fire, thunder, earth, or magic spirit veins. These spirit veins roughly affected almost 10,000 kilometers of land. And frigid forest was on the outskirts of the total Frost Sacred land.
However, these areas also followed strange rules, which is what the opposite of many people would think. For instance, the areas in the center, and not closest to the spiritual veins contained the most powerful spiritual pets while the area on the outskirts contained the weakest.
Even though this was the case, no one below level 15 would usually ever dare try to enter into the frigid Forest. Yet Long San had literally been an animal before, he had tracking abilities that most humans could only dream of.
‘When I was a beaver, I learned about different types of wood before that damn snake ate me!’ Long San walked into the frigid forest and carefully analyzed a few of the frosted soul trees.
Frosted soul trees were said to contain information from thousands of years in their bark and one in ten million of these trees a year beared a single frigid spirit fruit.
Finding one was worth over one million teals of gold, but finding it was more rare than even his reverse summon ability! However, leaning down, he looked at a frigid tree, and noticed the moss had slightly been bitten by a great white fox.
‘Great White Foxes only don’t hunt other spirit pets, if a more powerful spirt pet is in the area.’
Long San walked into the forest and snuck behind a few trees before he saw a small cavern in the side of the mountain.
‘No way. Could it be? The Night Phoenix has been hiding out here all this time! In plain sight in the middle of the mountain! Could it be that simple?’
