The Lord Of Evil Spirit Pets - Chapter 4
small platoon of soldiers had been stationed in the Frigid Forest in order to train the recent graduates from Opal Academy.
It was just a normal academy, but many of the students when they graduated at age 25 had reached the step conqueror rank. Clad in blue and white armor, many of them looked young, but had multiple scars on their body. Inside of frigid forest’s main outpost, many spirit pets tried to get through them to enter into silver capital.
A few nights a year, the streets were died with the color of blood because a single soldier let one spirit pet through. Last year, it had been a six tailed black eyed panther that ripped ten people to shreds before they finally killed it.
“I heard the night phoenix has been spotted again,” One soldier trembled. “He’s killed 5 civilians already this year.”
“Are they still lying to the public?” A beautiful woman in a blue skirt with silver armor said. Her blonde hair fell down to her shoulders, “Why haven’t they been able to catch it?”
“It’s apparently a spotted Night Phoenix. It apparently got in a fight with a great neck dragon in the center of the Total Frost Sacred Lands. “Apparently, it’s at least a 1000 year old night phoenix! Even if someone lived a hundred lives, they might still not be older than it!”
“Oh well, it avoids soldiers and only catches beggars,” The female soldier, Attivia sighed and looked at the mountain it was supposed to be hiding it. “I guess it doesn’t want to piss off humans, and is trying to recover by devouring whatever it can. Smart bastard. Hope no one runs into it.”

An Ai sighed and watched her father summon his eight tailed wildebeest bird to deliver a message to the Dragon Emperor.
It was known for its speed and provided her father with the wildebeest form he desired. She had no idea when he hunted it, however, that was another matter for another time.
“I gave you several talismans you can use to resist Long San however, just know they cost me a fortune! However, remember we must get on his good side! Our plans to kill him must not be known!”
‘I-I don’t really want to kill him,’ An Ai thought but nonetheless nodded her head and smiled. “Whatever you want father! I’ll do it!”
“Good, well, he’s been spotted in frigid forest. I sent a old bodyguard of mine to keep an eye on ihm. We have to know every single one of his moves, otherwise, we might be the ones dying!”

Long San skulked into the cavern with his two spears on the left and right side of his body.
He ran quietly, like a slithering snake about to snatch a prey from out of the mouth of a bird. He whizzed through the tunnel and passed the rock covered walls before he found a small nest at the edge of the tunnel.
A few skeletons and piles of clothing were on one side of the cavern while a small egg was in the center. Long San was shocked immediately and extremely excited.
‘That’s either its child, or it’s trying to renew itself.’ Long San slowly walked towards the egg and scanned the tunnel. His eyes immediately looked for any signs of manure. It seemed trivial, but when he was an animal. Nothing was more terrifying than finding the turd of a powerful beast.
‘Good, nothing recent,’ Long San walked up to the egg and took a deep breath before putting his hand against it. “However, it looks like I’ve been duped. This is a fake egg.”
Long San sighed and turned around expecting to see nothing there, but instead saw a woman in a black dress walking towards him.
“You’re a male phoenix? What are you doing in my territory?” The lady had long black nails that curved and tilted into her mouth. “It’s rare someone so silent comes into my territory. You either came to die, or to kill me. There can’t be a second option.”
“Shit, she’s passed level 70!” Long San felt something crushing him internally.. When certain Spirit Pets got past level 70, they’d gain a human form if they were a royal type of beast or higher. “Put on the Charm Long San! You’re also a phoenix?”
“Bad boy, huh? Not answering a phoenix of a higher rank?” The black haired maiden gently touched her beautiful round body before her claws started to grow longer. “Heh, It’s a shame. I was looking for a phoenix to mate with, and then you arrived. I don’t think I can mate with someone who doesn’t answer.”
“I came here hoping to see the beautiful spotted Night Phoenix of legend,” Long San slightly bowed out of decorum. A slight droplet of sweat dropped off his head. His black eyebrows slightly trembled even though he couldn’t help it. “However, you’re much stronger than I expected. May this young one leave, so he can get a stronger phoenix to fulfill his role?”
“You’re fine.” The beautiful maiden cracked her neck. “If you resist, if you move a single inch when I tell you not to, you can consider yourself dead.” She walked over and pushed Long San onto the floor before kissing her lips. “However, everything you see now is a secret between man and woman. And yes, I am dominating you! You got a problem with that!”
“Mmm, No mam!” Long San smiled and let what was going to happen unfold!
###
A day later, Long San felt like he’d been ravaged, or well R*Ped.
Luckily, he noticed something interesting had happened to his Celestial Phoenix. It had gained spots from his dalliance with the Night Phoenix.
‘Certain phoenix’s evolve, but they are exceptionally rare. Please-please tell me it learned a new ability!’
Each person, depending on their amount of gates, could only get one new spiritual pet every 10 levels, and as such, their abilities were important. However, an evolving spirit pet was a different story! They could learn up to 3 abilities! Since his gained dots, it had to be an evolving spirit pet!
The chances of finding an evolving spirit pet were roughly 1 in 10, so on average each person had one. However, having more than two was extremely rare, and a divine type like a phoenix was much rarer! In fact, the chance of having an evolving pet Phoenix was more than 1 in a thousand!
“Your Celestial Phoenix has mutated into a Celestial Spotted Phoenix. You learned the technique wind tunnel.”
Wind Tunnel? What does that do?” Long San stretched his arms over his head and looked down at his cold cup off coffee. “Ugh, it’s late enough that no one should be watching. Time to go visit my father and see if he’s planned my execution yet.”
