The Lord Of Evil Spirit Pets - Chapter 5
Dragon Sect, First Palace
An Ai’s name had started to circulate the halls. People were extremely happy that she’d been tricked by Long San.
The animosity between the dragon Sect and the Phoenix Sect was well known to all in Blue Merchants City. After all, the Dragon Sect and the Phoenix Sect both owned half of the merchant shops that made the city flourish whereas other cities suffered from poverty.
Long Sans’ father, Long Nim, was currently looking at a report about the Phoenix Family’s body guard that had been following his son. He sighed, and tossed the board on the bed where two women were currently sleeping.
“My son is an idiot,” Long Nim slammed his hand against his chair. “Damn it! He’s also unlucky! If he didn’t learn reverse summon, I wouldn’t have to worry about protecting him! However, Mason, you’re certain the Phoenix Sect has no reason to attack?”
“They are most likely too embarrassed, and that would be too obvious. We expect them to hire assassins, but no worries. I have scouts at every club where an assassin can be hired. HE’s safe for now.”
“Father?” Long San walked into his bedroom and saw two unfamiliar women on his bed. They seemed to be wearing blue robes that belonged to women in the outer sect. “What-what’s going on? Did you break the rules and bring in students again!”
“These women were waiting for you to help you train your phoenix, but you didn’t come home! However, that’s not the half of it! I’m going to kick you rass so hard you can’t see straight for five days! Turn around and beg for mercy you little shit! Father’s going to hit you until you realized how much pain you caused me!”

Long San got off easy.
He had memories from the original Long San, and had been trained brutally by his father until the age of sixteen. Unfortunately, he trained his son so hard he died and Long San got to transmigrate into his body.
However, for the last two years, Long San had been diligently getting on his father’s good side and had escaped a single beating. Yet at the current moment, he couldn’t walk. He got a massage from two women in his bed and sighed. These women were here to make sure he cultivated his spiritual Ki. It’s a shame he couldn’t focus after his father smacked him in the back.
“Ladies, what level are you?” Long San inquired with a shrug.
“Level 11” The first black haired maiden required.
“Level 15!” The blonde haired girl next to her responded.
“So, I’ll be taking the majority of the spiritual Ki like usual? Are you sure?”
In the part of the cultivation continent ruled by the Dragon Emperor, in the 186th year since his dynasty began, individuals trained spiritual energy by cultivating various arts.
There were two types of arts, solo and multiple arts. Solo Arts involved cultivating by yourself whereas multiple arts involved cultivating with more than one person. Solo types of cultivation were usually a tiny bit slower than multiple arts, but what really mattered was the cultivation technique – usually a breathing technique.
In the Dragon Sect, his father passed him down the blue dragon breathing technique, a 3 star technique. Most men wished to have even a 2 star technique, but that’s what he got for being born into a high ranking family. However, what made the Dragon sect really special was its Multiple Art called the Blue Dragon Talon’s breathing technique.
It allowed up to three people, usually two women and one man – it could be the other way around – to all gather energy at the same time at the same rate. This naturally meant that the person with the weakest spiritual power would get the most spiritual Ki.
To do, it required the three Spiritualists using the Blue Dragon Talon’s Breathing technique to synchronize their breath and hold hands. Occasionally, other things happened, but right now Long San’s goal was to get stronger as fast as possible.
‘I haven’t’ checked my level in a while. After I train with these two girls, I will,’
Long San closed his eyes and grabbed the blonde haired girl’s hand and put it gently down on his leg before the other girl passed him his hand. “I hope that I can at least reach level 15 by the time I turn 19. That doesn’t seem like too bad a pace.”
Long San sighed and focused on his spiritual veins, and began to circulate his spiritual energy around his meridian channels. He sighed and noticed his meridians had slightly widened after he got r*ped by the Night Phoenix.
‘Damn her!’ Long San bit his lip. “I’m going to pay her back times a thousand when I reach level 50! How dare she r*pe me and not tell me her name! I’ll make her my second Phoenix as soon as I’m strong enough to do it!”

“Uhm, I’m taking all the Qi for some reason,” The level 11 woman named Aveni bowed her head in shame. “I’m sorry! Young master you must have underestimated your level! Have you been training so hard you forgot to check your level?”
“For 12 days recently,, The only training I did wasn’t for me,” Long SAn sighed and picked up a level checking crystal on the side of his bed.
A level checking Crystal changed color when a spiritualist held it and this one had 20 unique colors. Depending on the color, you would be anywhere between level 1 and 20. He picked it up while one of the girls nearly fainted on his bed. Her blue robe slightly slid down revealing her beautiful frame. He sighed and sent his spiritual Ki into the crystal.
Zing!
The crystal began to change colors rapidly before it started to smoke. Not until it reached an extremely dark black did it stop.
Tossing it to the side, Long San stretched and walked over to get another one. The two girls looked down at the crystal in shock. Wasn’t that the result for someone level 19?
‘I must be seeing things. There is no way I gained 9 levels just because I had a few good days with the night phoenix!’
Long San pulled out another crystal that went from level 1 – 15, and smiled before putting his maximum spiritual Ki into it. It should be easy to figure out his level this way.
Zing!
“Error! Error!”
“Are you kidding me?! This isn’t working either!” Long san sighed and walked over to a third leveling crystal that went from levels 15 – 30 and decided to try again. “This-this shouldnt’ light up at all unless I’m over level 15! There is no way it will work!”
Long San picked up the crystal and sent a surge of his Ki into it once more while the girls watched in awe. If that actually turned on, Long San would immediately be considered a prodigy!
Because of the rather ‘intimate’ act that had to be used to become a conqueror (same thing as a spiritualist), pretty much all spiritualists were all level 10 when they were eighteen. In the next seven years, the most talented students could reach level 60, and the one in a million monsters reach level 70.
However, Long San had only been a full fledged Phoenix Conqueror – someone who got a phoenix as his first spirit – for at most a month! If he was already level 15, he’d be a genius. If he was level 20, he’d be on his way to being a one in a million monster.
“Level 19, almost level 20” Long San trembled and bit down on his lip. “I knew something was up with that damn Night Phoenix! She-she clearly took something from me1 I’m going to pay her back as soon as I can!”
“Wow, so impressive!” The two girls seemed delighted. “How? How are we training with you. We shouldn’t be getting in the way of such an impressive master’s training.”
“No, you two will stay here and tell no one of this,” Long San sighed. “The more cards I have up my sleeve, the better I can protect myself against the Dragon family. We’ll train separately for three hours, and together for one right before my father arrives.”
