This story will be updated every other day. One day for Food wars and the other for this.
—————————————————–
It’s been two days since Ace fell in the middle of the desert. The sun was burning and the wind was hot. Ace is still on the sand laying there unconscious but still alive and much better than last time.
His wounds are healed and his body stopped bleeding.
And from far away, a single shadow can be seen making his way. When you look closer you will see a man riding his camel. The man is short but full of fun. He is on his camel singing to forget the heat.
“Oh, I come from a land from a faraway place” The man was swaying his head back and furth “Where the heat is intense but i walk with my own pace”
As the man was singing, he noticed something was shining in front of him “Hm? what is that shiny thing i see?” The man put his hand to cover his eyes from the sun so he could see better “Let’s go Kafil! let’s go see what is there.” The man spoke to his camel and they walked to where the shiny thing is.
“There is a lot of it!!” the man said as he saw it wasn’t just one piece but one large shiny thing, all of them were pointy like swords and clear like water.
When they reached that place. The man jumped off his camel and walked to the shiny mass thing to explore it “Oh my lord! what is this I see?” He smiled and pulled something from his pocket. It was a piece very similar to what he is seeing “Is this what they call glass, i thought it was only produced in China! how did it come here?” The man scratched his chin in confusion.
While the man is thinking, his camel saw something behind the glass and groaned “Not now Kafil! you have eaten your food in Agrabah, wait until we reach the next city..” The man raised his hand in refusal. But his camel came and bite his scarf and pulled him to look in front of him.
From behind the clear glass, the man and his camel saw a large shadow coming towards them, then suddenly it disappears and appears again. “What is this?!” the man got scared.
“Hello?” a voice came from behind the glass, it looks like whoever that voice belonged to, had heard the man.
“Its a person? few! that scared me!” The man sighed in relief “Yes my friend, I am here come out from behind this thing!” the man called.
But the voice owner didn’t come out, so the man wanted to call again. But that didn’t happen as he saw something jump high in the sky, he followed it with his eyes but the sun blinded him. A man fell down from the sky and landed in front of the camel owner.
“Oh!!” The man was in shock “Did you just jump? your legs must be made out of steel!”
“…” In front of the man stands a boy in his 20s with black raven hair and black eyes, he was shirtless with a long Silver necklace that is shaped like a skull. He wore only a long black short. This man was Ace. He has finally woke up.
“Old man…” Ace called
“What is it, young man?” the man asked.
“Where is this place?” Ace asked. He looked around him and saw nothing but sand. He thought this must be Alabasta but he was sure that the people in Alabasta don’t wear clothes like that of traditional Indians.
The man was surprised “You are lost? well, no fear on you my friend, you’re in Agrabah’s desert near the capital city.” The man pointed in front of them “In that direction is Agrabah.”
‘Agrabah?’ Ace was confused, he has traveled the new world but didn’t find any island with that name. ‘An uncharted island?’ he thought.
“By the way young man…” the man called as he went back to his camel and took out a waterskin and passed it to Ace. “What are you doing here alone? and lost? who are you?” he asked, ” And I am Razik, I am a merchant and this is my camel, Kafil.”
Ace took the waterskin and inspected it and then drank from it. He was quite thirsty anyway. “My name is Portgas D. Ace, I am a pirate.”
When Razik heard him, his eyes widened in shock “…A pirate in the desert? but that name Ace…You’re not from around this area, you must be from the northern lands.” he said. Razik was quite a knowledgeable man with sharp senses.
“Is it unusual?” Ace didn’t find Razik’s reaction to him strange. Pirates usually stay in coast cities near their sh.i.p.s. But what he did find strange is his attitude towards his name ‘He doesn’t know my name?’ Ace was dead sure that by now, the whole world knows him as Portgas D. Ace or Amaterasu.
“It is very unusual, pirates don’t even come near Agrabah even though it has its port, there isn’t much to steal from Agrabah.” The man went back to his camel and rode on it.
“So…to where now?” Razik asked.
Ace stayed silent. Pirates don’t come here? he thought.
“Hey, old man…” Ace called “Can i ask you a question…?”
“for sure, if i can answer it, i have no intention to hide it from you.”
“Are there any Marine bases around here?”
“Marines…?” Razik looked confused “There is no such thing as Marines in this world, My boy.”
Ace dropped his head to look at his shadow as he recalled his fight with Teach ‘Can it be?’ Ace had an extreme idea of what happened to him, but he wasn’t sure. He looked at the blue clear sky and closed his eyes.
“then…Have you heard of the one-piece?” Ace asked. This was his final question.
Razik smiled “You sure do say some absurd things! What is this one piece you speak of? And I suspect that you are talking about one-piece clothes.”
Ace chuckled “No…Thank you anyway, old man. And thanks for the water, you’re a lifesaver.” Ace shook his head.
“Do you need a ride?” Razik asked as he noticed that Ace was ending their conversation.
“You’re too kind. But I am okay. ” Ace bowed in respect to the man. It is not an everyday event that you find kind people like this.
Razik laughed “You’re overpraising me, it is our duty to help those in need.”
“Is this yours by the way?” Razik asked and pointed the glass behind them.
“Ace looked at the glass ‘Oh! this must-have formed from my flames.’ Ace shook his head “No. it is not mine.” he said.
“Oh! what a luck, I wish I had space to take it with me. And it is not yours either to ask you to keep it for me until i bring my companions and buy it.” Razik was sad. He was sure this treasure would be buried in sand or taken before he can return to it.
“…I can keep it for you.” Ace said. He looked at his hand and he saw his five rings still on his fingers and has not fallen.
“Oh!! can you do that?” Razik asked with joy.
“Yeah, I can meet you at the nearest city from here. I will keep it for you there.” Ace looked at the ring in his middle finger. This one is where he keeps all of his treasures, food, and clothes. It is a space-storage that he has found in Raftil (Laugh Tale) before his fight with Teach by weeks.
Razik didn’t know how Ace will do that but he didn’t care. If he said he can do it then he can. The boy’s face doesn’t seem like a liar. But if he was a liar, Razik wouldn’t lose much as he wouldn’t the tools and his companions just for this glass as he has other plans here in Agrabah.
“When you’re ready, walk in that direction, you will find Agrabah. This is the nearest city. Go there and rest and be aware of the sand storms. When I get the equipment and my friends, we will look for you there.”
“Thank you.” Ace thanked him again. Razik said his goodbyes and then continued his journey.
Ace sighed “Another world…” He mumbled, “What a luck I have?!” Ace extended his hand towards the glass and formed a fist. The Red Ring on his middle finger shined with bright red light and the glass in front of Ace got sucked into the ring.
Ace sighed and again used the ring, but this time, he took some clothes that he got from Alabasta and wore them.
“Let’s go…” Ace started walking towards the city of Agrabah while one particular thought was stuck in his mind “I can’t help but I think that I know this city name from somewhere.” He mumbled.
