The Messenger of Death - Chapter 369: ATTACK ON SEVERANCE ACADEMY III
-Whoop!
Like dirt being thrown around randomly, all the competitors that lived to the end of the competition were thrown around the real island where the portal to the Ordain plain realm is. Most of them landed on trees.
Some of them were able to get a grip of themselves before they hit the ground, while Al and Milo were sent to the ground gently.
When Al saw this, he smiled. “Now this is some preferential treatment.” He stated.
With his body still being weak, Al was still seated on Milo’s back. Milo landed on the beach of the island softly.
“We have to get out of here quickly,” Al muttered and waved his hand, bringing forth one of the ships that he got from the prisoners. The ship appeared a few yards away from the shore, on a level of water that wouldn’t affect its movement.
Al then tapped Milo on his neck, urging him to towards the ship.
[‘Wait, we forgot someone!’] Alex reminded.
[‘Really? I’m here, and so is Milo. Who else is worthy of my remembrance?’] Al rolled his eyes. He didn’t make any attempt to stop Milo.
[‘I know that you haven’t forgotten about him, Argus.’] Alex replied.
[‘Well he can use whatever way he used to get here to get back.’] Al said.
[‘At least wait and find out if he survived. He was sent to watch after us, that’s the least you can do. And don’t use the excuse of being weak. Take a green HD-EC out and absorb the energy in it. It will do some good to you.’] Alex stated.
[‘Stop being a bitch about this, we might get chased by that crazy prick, now that he is nowhere in sight we should increase the distance between the two of us.’] Al ignored Alex’s suggestion. [‘And yeah, a green HD-EC will do me some good.’] He finished and proceeded to retrieve one from his storage ring.
Above the island where the competitors and Midas seed carriers appeared, there were many people from the Celestial plain realm overlooking everything that was going on there, and the moment they appeared out of nowhere, everyone’s attention was on the people on the island.
Al was unaware that he was being watched by many people. When he brought a ship out of his storage ring, they were all confused. None of them thought that Al was a person residing in the Lower plain realm.
Now his cultivation wasn’t been suppressed by his Karma, Al’s cultivation shot past the Nirvana realm.
Presently’ Al’s cultivation has reached the first rank of the Spirit condensing realm. However, he wasn’t aware because he was in a weakened state and in actuality, hasn’t condensed a spirit. But Al was already halfway there.
Some of them thought he was just going to journey around before leaving for the Celestial plain realm. And he was someone that none of them knew, they didn’t bother themselves with him any more than they have already done.
“Argh!! Where is he!? Where is that bastard!? I will kill him!!! He stole my petal!!” The prince screamed out from where he was.
With his bloodline QI still in the state of ignition, his voice practically reached every corner of the island.
Immediately Al heard his voice, he urged Milo to move quickly.
Milo sped up, running on water and leaping into the air before landing on the deck of the ship.
“Quickly Milo, help me get the ship moving,” Al said.
Through Al’s thoughts, Milo was able to discern what he needed to do. He quickly changed into his humanoid form and proceeded to prep the ship for departure.
Although Milo’s transformation caught a few people’s attention, they didn’t react much because of the person that shouted.
They had just found out that the person that was acting crazy, with his bloodline QI on ignition, is a Prince from the most prominent and dominant Royal family on the Celestial plain realm — the Phoenix Royal family.
Many of the people from the Celestial plain realm felt their hearts clenched when they processed what the Prince said.
They hoped that it was a subordinate of theirs that stole from the Prince, if not, the consequences will be dire.
None of them wanted to face the wrath of the Phoenix Royal family, especially when their actions can be justified.
“Where is he!?” The Prince continued to rage as he destroyed the trees around him. Burning them to ashes.
A random Midas carrier was picked from amongst the rest by Amir’s father and brought to where he was, above the island.
“Tell me what happened.” He demanded.
As the leader of the Sect that was tasked with dealing with anything concerning the Midas petal, he had to know.
If the Prince was cheated out of gaining the Midas petal, then he might have to step in and intervene in this matter.
The Midas seed carrier that was picked began explaining everything that he was aware of, including the things that happened inside of the independent space. And also, he informed them of what exception Mr. Guardian will make as long as Alexander is present.
Everyone above the island was shocked by the information that they received from this Midas carrier.
“So who got to the petal first?” Amir’s father asked. From what he had discerned, from the narration he heard from this Midas seed carrier, he was able to tell that the petal will be given to the first person that reaches it.
But it was also possible for the petal to be stolen by any other person, from the first person that reached it. But who was foolish and strong enough to steal from the Prince? This question ran through their minds.
“I don’t know, but it is the Prince and another supreme primordial bloodline bearer.” The Midas seed carrier replied.
“What!? I thought there was only one supreme primordial bloodline bearer that qualified to be a Midas seed carrier.!?” An old man in an all-white garment that was standing behind Amir’s father, exclaimed.
“The second supreme primordial bloodline bearer isn’t a Midas seed carrier, he’s the exception that the Guardian of the petals spoke of.” The Midas seed carrier explained.
“Can you describe this person to me?” Amir’s father asked with a frown on his face.
With what he had just been told, he started wondering if he should interfere in this. One is a Prince acknowledged by everyone on the Celestial plain realm and the other has a bloodline comparable to that of the Prince and has also been acknowledged by Mr. Guardian.
Whichever side he decides to support, he was sure that he will still receive some damage.
Amir’s father sighed in his heart…
The Midas seed carrier proceeded to describe Al and Milo to everyone that was listening. Most of them immediately realized that it was the person they saw leaving on a ship that allegedly robbed the Prince.
Some of them were relieved that they didn’t bother themselves with Al if not they might have angered an existence they couldn’t afford to deal with, while some remained neutral the rest didn’t put Al in their gaze.
The only thing that crossed their minds was to collect the Midas petal from Al and hand it over to the Prince. That way they can build a sturdy relationship with the Phoenix Royal family. Even if there is indeed a powerful existence behind Alexander, they were sure that the Phoenix Royal family will protect them.
A middle-aged man dressed in a light blue garment, with a bar-head, appeared over the ship that Al was making his escape on.
He waved his hand and the ship was destroyed, sinking both Milo and Al into the sea.
This middle-aged man then waved his hand again, dragging both Milo and Al out of the water and into the air where all the powerful individuals were.
At the moment, Al was too perplexed to give any type of reaction.
While he was on the ship, he couldn’t sense any of these individuals in his sight now.
“Hand over the Midas petal and I will let you leave with your life.” The middle-aged man demanded.
Although Al was perplexed, he wasn’t scared.
[‘These people are at least almost as strong as Nana.’] Al estimated.
[‘That doesn’t mean that we will listen to their ridiculous demand. Give him our petal? He’s better off asking a fish for its fins.’] Alex uttered in anger.
[‘My thoughts exactly.’] Xander chipped in.
[‘Al, secretly bring out the talisman that Nana gave us and then activate it.’] Lex intoned.
Al’s expression remained the same after hearing the middle-aged man threaten him. This gave others the impression that Al really had powerful people behind him. He didn’t flinch one bit in the presence of their aura.
“Didn’t you hear me?” The middle-aged man suddenly grabbed Al’s neck and began strangling him.
“Oh I heard you, but I just don’t give enough fucks to give you a reply.” Immediately after saying that, Al retrieved the talisman and was about to activate it but it was snatched from his hand by the middle-aged man.
“This is what you were going to rely on? A summoning talisman? Seems like I have to beat you up a bit before you understand that you don’t have a choice here.” The man said and started to tighten his grip on Al’s neck, making it more difficult for Al to breathe.
Milo tried to move to help Al, but he was put in a spot by the aura being released by this man.
-Shing!!!
Suddenly, a sharp sound pierced through the air, and by the time people heard this sound, the middle-aged man’s hand that was holding on to Al’s neck had been sliced off.
No blood spilled, only frost and ice could be seen around the injury.
“What gave you the audacity to treat my disciple like that, chipmunk?” Nana appeared beside Al as she spoke.
The tension in the air suddenly solidified with Nana’s presence…
