The.Mistress - Chapter 22:Said My Safe Word
I buttoned down my shirt while watching Winter sleeping on my bed. Her pussy was such a mess full of cum while her skin was marked with hickeys in different sizes. I had difficulty zipping up my pants because of my goddamn hard fuck beam. Just watching her always made me horny. I pulled my phone and typed.
Bruce: Madame, I need to speak with you, please.
As if Winter felt my stare, she stirred before her eyes fluttered open.
“Bruce?” She leaned up on her elbows and examined my form. “Where are you going?”
I drove in the office with my head full of Winter. My heart was heavy because I’d be saying goodbye to someone. I knew today would be the end between me and Madame. I’d definitely miss her but I have to accept that she’s just a mirage. Someone that didn’t exist. A secret that I couldn’t show to the world. Someone I couldn’t be with forever.
People in my building was surprised to see me and I froze because of what I saw in their faces. I walked directly towards the lift as if the time just stopped moving. If they looked at me like I was their hero before, right now the people looked at me like I was the god that owned the world. Goddamn it!!
“Good morning, Mr. Black.” Women greeted me in chorus and in a singsong.
They rushed to join me in the lift and I raised my arms up instinctively to protect myself. What the fuck was wrong with these people.
“Mr. Black, we’re not expecting you to come to work right after yesterday. You can take your vacation longer, sir. We’ll make sure everything will be perfect while you’re gone.” Someone I didn’t know said while we’re tightly huddled inside the lift.
“Yes, Mr. Black.” Everybody agreed like it was a script.
“How’s Ms. Shadow? Is she fine? I hope she’s alright. You did the right thing with that evil girl, Mr. Black. She deserves to be hit because she hurt Ms. Shadow first.”
“True!” Someone else agreed again. “I saw it. I was in the reception hall when it happened. They all just came rushing in the lobby and when she saw Winter, she just hit her in the face.”
Jesus! Fuck! I didn’t want to hear any more of what they’re saying. It only made me want to rush back to Winter again. People continued rattling about their ideas and thoughts of the scandal and the issue going around the building. I endured it all but mostly let it all passed by my ear. I could handle my shit just fine. I didn’t need their damn reassuring words to feel justified of what I did. At last, the lift was vacated until I was the only one left inside.
I strode fast into my office and ordered Jethro to give me everything that needed my attention. I buried myself into work until I heard my stomach growled. I fixed everything before leaving my office and crossed the street to grab a quick bite in our coffee shop.
I was nursing my cappuccino and a couple of donuts when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I knew damn well from whom the message came even without looking. But I still took my phone and swiped my thumb on the screen.
Madame: In my house at four today.
I looked at my watch and nodded when I only have forty minutes before the time. I finished my food in slow and easy chews as if by doing so, I could also delay saying goodbye to Madame. What we shared was so fun. Intense. And damn, I even fell so damn in love with her. But it was fake. And I didn’t want to involve myself into something that wouldn’t last for long.
I dropped the napkin on the table and stood before leaving the store and drove my Maserati into Madame’s house. My heart was thumping hard when I saw her white Camaro already parked in front of the bungalow. With a heavy deep breath, I emerged from my car and walked into the door before opening it wide.
“LOVE.” I instantly said my safe word.
Madame jerked her head up while she paced around the living room. Her eyes were wide as she stared at me before she nodded. She suddenly dropped her body down the couch as if drained of energy.
