- 23 Distinction Between 3 Power Systems!
10 days later
Saksham had discharged from the hospital a week ago. Since then, he had been strictly told by Savitri and Arjun to rest. As a result, most of his time was spent in bed. But Saksham was never really resting. He had been studying sneakily. Final exams were very close and Saksham didn’t want to take this resting time as an excuse to not study. As for why he was not using his powers to just cheat or just memorize everything there is? Well, Saksham had decided not to use his powers for unnecessary stuff like. He would only use them when there is an emergency or some life-threatening situation.
As for why Saksham suddenly decided this is because not long ago Saksham asked the System he made with his powers, that were there any other hidden consequences of using his powers and the System replied, “Excess use puts a strain on the soul. Human souls are not made to withstand this much strain so many times. So, after using the powers to the limit, again and again, might result in the dissipation of soul.”
Saksham had used his powers to ask other questions too. For example, he asked what if he strengthens his soul and the system replied, “If you were to strengthen your soul, then the strain on your soul will be a lot less and you will be able to use your powers frequently.”
Reading this disappointed Saksham a bit. He thought that if he somehow manages to strengthen his soul then maybe his powers will grow or maybe the illusory bar in his vision would increases from 15 to a bigger number. But the answer disappointed him. Next, he asked for ways to upgrade his powers and the System replied, “Insufficient EP.”
Seeing this, Saksham was immediately speechless. This little System he made cost him 8 EP. And now just an answer costs more than the total amount of EP he had. Saksham can’t help but be silent for a while. Soon, he sighed and didn’t let it go to his heart because he still got something he wanted to know. From the answer of the System, he could understand that there really is a way to upgrade his powers but he can’t ask his System about that. He has to figure that out by himself somehow. And thinking about the ways his powers may upgrade gave Saksham a headache. So, he just shook his head and threw this thought at the corner of his head for now.
Then, Saksham asked the question which was bothering him the most. He asked, “What is a Fire Elemental King?”
When Saksham saw that fire dome, he knew that there was something wrong with that explosion. And after seeing his Exousia usage history table, Saksham found out that it was not an explosion, but some kind of self-destruction of Flame Elemental King. So, since then Saksham had been wondering what that might be. So, Saksham finally asked this question.
[That will cost 1 EP. Do you wish to do that?]
[Yes] /[No]
Saksham gritted his teeth and pressed [Yes]. With that, another EP was used and the strain on his soul increased a bit more. Saksham really didn’t like that feeling of heaviness in his chest. In fact, he hated it. But for the answers, he had to swallow the urge to cry and read the new information the System gave him now.
“Since ancient times, there has always been something extraordinary between the ordinary. The ordinary people used to call them ‘Gods’ or ‘Son/Daughter of Gods’. They were capable of destroying mountains with their fists and split oceans with their clap. Some were capable of harnessing elemental powers from nature. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and other types of powers of nature were something they were well versed in using.”
“There were some who could control, manifest, or plunder the souls of ordinary people. These people were able to control the dead and raise them back from the dead with their powers as undead. Lich, zombies, ghosts, etc are some of the things they are capable of controlling. Many times in the history of mankind, behind many big wars, has a shadow of these people capable of controlling minds and souls.”
“During the course of time, these people had been divided into 3 Power Systems, namely [Soul Power Users], [Physical Masters], and [Elemental Power Users]. And after a lot of research and sources gathered over the course of history, there has been a clear distinction in different levels in these Power Systems.
For [Physical Masters] the different levels currently known to mankind is: [Physical Trainee], [Physical Soldier], [Physical Commander], [Physical General], [Physical King], [Physical Emperor], and in the end [Physical God].”
“For [Elemental Power Users]: [Elemental Trainee], [Elemental Soldier], [Elemental Commander], [Elemental General], [Elemental King], [Elemental Emperor], and [Elemental God].”
“For [Soul Power Users]: [Soul Trainee], [Soul Mage], [Soul Master], [Soul Grandmaster], [King Of Souls], [Soul Emperor], and [Soul God].”
