The Myriad Hack System - Chapter 2 Chapter 1 Reincarnation
Soros Forest, a great forest situated in the eastern side of the Yalas Continent covering a vast lands from the mid eastern parts of the continent. The entire forest was filled with the beautiful greenery of the trees, proud and tall mountains, gloomy caves, watery mushes and canyons along with rivers running all around the forest body.
At the outskirts of the forest, in an open grass field, a green and ugly goblin wearing only an extremely dirty lion clothe could be seen sited with it’s back against a tree. It seemed to be resting under the tree but the bloody stab wound on it’s bare green torso stated otherwise.
This goblin was undoubtedly dead as there was no breathing, yet trials of blood like red lines could still be seen flowing out and downwards from it’s wound, making the once green grass around him dyed in bloody red.
But suddenly the bloody stab wound on it’s chest started to close up and regenerate at a rate visible to the naked eye. Within a minute the wound completely disappeared from the goblin’s chest, restoring it’s body back to it’s perfect state as if it never injured.
The only trace of the wound that remained was the trails of blood on it’s chest and the red grass on the feet of the tree.
‘Where am I?’ Kyrus thought as he opened his eyes and his vision greeted the vast plane of trees and greenery as far as he could see.
‘A forest? How did I get here? Didn’t i self-destruct my soul to destroy the universe core?
Even though Kyrus was in a completely unknown place and had no idea how got here, his mind was still calm without a shread of panic. He had many questions in his mind but he knew now is not the time to ponder on them.
Instead Kyrus’s mind was already in an extremely vegilent state doing multiple tasks like surveying the area, analyzing his situation, searching for relevant information and possible dangers.
“Ahhh!!” Kyrus suddenly screamed as an influx of memories entered his mind causing a sever headache.
In the memories the life of a green and ugly goblin flashed before his eyes like scenes in a movie. Kyrus saw everything from it’s birth till how it ended up beneath the same tree he was under and died, ending the memories.
But before Kyrus could make sense of anything, a robotic voice resounded in his mind as notifications pop up one after another…
[Ding! Reincarnation program completed]
[Warning! Host will lose the protection of the world laws in 1 hour.]
[Host is recommended to find a safe place]
Kyrus was shocked by the notifications poping up in his mind, but he kept his calm and decided to trust the notifications as his intuition was telling him to believe it.
Kyrus was after all, once an Exalted Immortal in Soul Cultivation, as such his intuition had already reached a terrifying degree, which saved him in countless situations in the past.
‘World Laws protection, this must be why no beasts approached me while I was laying beneath the tree, even though I am dyed in blood. I should run towards the old goblin cave. An entire day has passed since the humans attacked the goblin cave, it should be cleared and isolated right now.’ Kyrus thought as he stood up and dashed towards the goblin cave he saw in the memories.
As he was running, Kyrus’s mind was processing the information he got from the memories as well as pondering on the robotic notifications that popped up in his mind.
‘Reincarnation Program, It seems I have been reincarnated into a goblin due to this program and this reincarnation of mine is definitely related to the robotic voice in my head.
Those memories should have been the goblin’s memories that I inherited when my soul took over it’s body. But because my soul is currently in an extremely weakened state, the memory flood was a little over my current mental power. Lucky the goblin only lived for 14 days. If it had lived longer then I might not have been able to bear the memory flood.
What is that voice and game like notifications that pop up in my mind?
Since it’s powerful enough to revive the soul of an Exalted immortal, entering my extremely weakened soul should have been a piece of cake for it. But why would it even do that? Reviving the soul of an Exalted immortal from the void should have cost a damn great prize.
Looks like I’ll have to inspect my mental realm once I reach the cave, until then there isn’t much I could do about the voice and since my intuition is telling me, I’ll bet on it. It’s not like I have much of an option anyway, as my current power can’t possibly match such an expert.’
