The Myriad Hack System - Chapter 31 Chapter 30
Soon, the spell formation was drawn around two kilometers radius of the village with human blood used as ink. All the humans were stripped and positioned in a meditative posture all around the spell formation. They were all in a coma due to the excessive blood loss, so the goblins easily placed them in predetermined spots.
The night turned to deep midnight and the work of the goblins just ended. Now, all the humans were frozen into bulks of ice with some runes drawn on them. The spell formation was finally completed with all the villagers working tirelessly. It was finally Raizel’s turn to act.
Standing on the eye of the spell formation, Raizel visualized it in his mind. This spell formation had four interconnected diagrams with translated runes as the main program codes.
Translated runes are like a backdoor language that converts the meaning of one rune into another. In simpler terms, translating English into French. The meaning remains the same but word shapes shift.
The four diagrams had four different functions; Illusion, Barrier, Sustain, and Purification. All the diagrams had detailed runic programs, the outer diagram made an elusive illusion which disturbs and disguises the village to all unknown entities, the barrier in the middle diagram protects the village from external attacks, the inner diagram uses the humans as antennas to gather and supply energy from the atmosphere. Finally, the core diagram purifies the energy and stores it into the eye of the formation.
‘A near-perfect self-sustainable spell formation with human batteries. The only flaw in it is that it would automatically collapse in about 10-15 years when the souls and bodies of the human batteries expire due to the insane pain in both mind and body, which they suffer.
But I have no intention of using this for more than a year or two. During this time, the goblins and wolves should have a boost in their fertility and growth rates, not to mention the gene purification effect.
So begin!!’ Raizel thought. Aeon and Neon flared up around him, gushing out like an endless fountain and spread throughout the spell formation. Using the human blood as a conductor, every tread of Aeon and Neon, a rune lit up.
“AHHHAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”
As the energy passed through the frozen blue skins of the twenty-five humans, the runes on them lit up and a terrifying anguishing scream broke out of their frozen mouths. Mana and Aura in the atmosphere gathered towards them and impaled into their body and soul like thousands of needles, wreaking havoc inside them before flowing out through spell formation.
The maddening pain made them go insane but the formation sealed all movement of their soul and body. Soon, their hoarse voices stopped as their vocal cords ruptured, but the pain did not.
The treads of Aeon and Neon lanced with a little bit of Dao, gave the runes a meaning while sustaining themselves with the genetic and psychic forces of the humans. Once the runes had a meaning, they started working as instructed and summoned the energy of the atmosphere.
This way it would seem like the humans are utilizing the Mana and Aura to the world. Hence the karmic debt will also be theirs, allowing Raizel’s lackeys to enjoy refined free energy.
Once the energy started to gather through the human batteries in the inner diagram, it was passed to the core, where the energy was purified and regulated to the outer and middle diagrams. The activation of these two diagrams, thick white fume covered the perimeters of the village and a transparent shield appeared around it.
“It works,” Raizel says as he gazes upon the goblins, wolves, and tainted witches in the village. They were trembling in soul-shaking fear when they looked towards Raizel, one thought appeared in their hearts…
‘This is a true monster.’
An extremely deep fear had been planted into the minds of every creature within the village except for Raizel himself and Yumina. This fear had taken root in their hearts and would probably never disappear.
“HAIL THE GOBLIN KING!!!!!!” suddenly Rough Goblin shouted with a sense of newfound confidence. His entire body radiated delight and thrill, as he sent his thoughts to every member of their group through the system.
‘This is our king, is there a reason for us to fear him? I swore to live and die at his will, the more monstrous he is the more it makes him worthy to be the king of us monsters. This is sight is what awaits our enemies.
Hehehehe’
Rough Goblin was a thick-head but even he understood that if you want to live in this world, you must be cruel and strong. Otherwise, you will become food.
after his conversion into Raizel’s group, only his master held the highest priority. To him, the crueler and more powerful Raizel was, the more he is fit to rule them.
Thus his fear turned to awe. Though he was still afraid, there was also an ambition and relief of serving such a ruler which balanced his psyche.
“HAIL THE GOBLIN KING!!!!”(All Goblins)
“AWOOO!!!” (ALL WOLVES)
“Hail the goblin king!!” (Tainted Witches)
All of the residents of the village shouted in different speeches as they realized that the Rough Goblin’s words were correct.
However, Raizel’s mind was on something else entirely. He could see small and pure wisps of a unique force emitting from the goblins, wolves, and tainted witches. The sparks of it were gathering around him rapidly.
Raizel’s used his Sense Dao to scan the energy, reviewing its functions and effects.
‘So this is faith energy, thoughts projected through the spiritual root, converting the intent into the spirit. The crux of this energy is thought directed towards others, like respect or disgust. The energies elevate the soul quality of the one it is directed at.
Which means, it could boost the receiver’s talents, offset bad karma, and increment spiritual capacity. No wonder all those divines fought over mortal territory. The war between them must have wounded their souls and all those atrocities they committed to their devouts must have been to gather fear.
Since fear is much easier and faster to form in mortals then awe. So whichever divine had the most fame and fear would have became the strongest of divines.’ Raizel thought.
