The Mysterious Black Magician - Chapter 313
“What!?”
Bert the Destroyer exclaimed after a surge of mana burst out from Bob’s hand that shone intensely in the next second.
The light grew bigger and bigger until it covered all his figure.
After the striking sound of mana gushing, they heard loud successive pumping noises. *Boom! Boom! Boom!* In which followed by a loud howl.
Ooooooooooohhhh!!!
Smoke arises not because of a bomb explosion nor volcanic eruption, but because of a strong pressure coming from Bob’s burst of mana.
Everyone was dumbfounded staring at the trembling stage with their eyes unblinkingly glued on the figure shrouded in smoke.
After a few seconds of waiting, the smoke gradually diminished and a gigantic figure could be seen hopping and landing in front of his opponent in a thunderous thump.
When the smoke had all subsided, a monstrous figure revealed its appearance.
It wasn’t a rare type of monster or a rated high creature, but the metallic sheen on it made the monstrous figure one of a kind. Like a new breed of high-level beast.
“A gorilla?” Someone in the VIP muttered in surprise. It was the information gatherer, the stupefied Jack.
Looking at its figure, it seemed like an ordinary gorilla aside from the size and the metallic skin it has. It stood in front of its opponent like an indomitable fortress, simply because of its luster and size.
Aside from Yman, no one knew the origin of Bob’s shapeshifting artefact. Not even Bob himself.
It was the Abnormality Yman defeated in the Encantasia Empire.
But, even Yman was a little surprised that Bob was successful in merging his affinity element. It looks more overwhelming now that it turned to metal.
“Truly surprising,” Yman muttered in excitement. He was so looking forward to how Bob could utilize its potential.
Bert the Minotrent forgot to breathe as he gasped for several seconds, stunned by what he saw in front of him.
Never he imagined that Bob was hiding such a trump card!
The stage broke further after Bob stomped on it.
“Hehe, call me the Metalloid Gorilla!” Bob proudly announced in a boisterous voice.
In a slow-mo effect, the Minotrent Bert twitches in an ugly expression as he shouted, “Damn you, bastaaaarrrrdd!”
Countless vines sprouted around the Minotrent. They were coming to attack the Metalloid Gorilla.
Seeing the Minotrent’s attack, *Boom! Boom!* The Metalloid Gorilla pumped his chests.
Before the vines could reach him, the Metalloid Gorilla hopped high in mid-air while clasping both his hands forming like a hammer to directly attack the Minotrent.
Bang!
An earth-shaking attack shook and cracked the stage towards the surrounding areas. The crack even went outside the barrier and crawled like a snake towards the audience podium.
Some audience members, especially girls, screamed in panic, afraid that the cracks continued towards them, but they didn’t. Fortunately, it didn’t.
Chief Henderson immediately ordered some of the soldiers to stand in front of the audience podium in case a much intense crack happened that could reach the audience podium.
If only the stage was big enough, the Metalloid Gorilla would not choose to directly attack the Minotrent. But because of their gigantic figure, there wasn’t enough space for the two of them. Even the audience noticed it.
So, Bob had only a choice, to attack it directly.
The Minotrent unexpectedly blocked the Metalloid Gorillas’ attack by using his vines to form a shield in front of him.
It was a technique Bert called, Vine Shield!
However, the Vine Shield was shredded to pieces. Noticing the Minotrent at a hand reach distance, the Metalloid Gorilla tried to grab the opponent’s head.
On second thought, he changed his initial plan when he noticed a massive sword materialized in the hand of the Minotrent. It wasn’t a high-grade sword nor made of high-grade stone or metal.
It was a vine sword. The Metalloid Gorilla used his arm to block the attack.
Ting!
Thanks to his metal skin, the attack wasn’t enough to cut him. Though, it still caused damage to him.
After the two of them transformed into monsters, their toughness increased for several folds.
Bob and Bert used all that they had to beat the other party. They needed to end the fight with one of them as the winner.
In terms of abilities, the Minotrent had the upper hand, but in terms of physical defense and power, the Metalloid Gorilla was clearly above the Minotrent.
The loud rumbling caused by two monstrous beings on the stage had continued for several seconds.
Bob finally managed to grab the Minotrent and did a suplex on it. But the Minotrent was able to avoid the impending danger using his vines once again. A drill made of vines protruded beneath the Metalloid Gorilla.
Bob was hit in the stomach and sent rolling away. However, before the drill hit him, he was able to smack the Minotrent on what seemed like remnants of a broken stage.
Now standing at the opposite end, the two of them are glaring at each other with their chest heaving deeply, clearly tired.
“Hah! Hah…!” The Minotrent breathed deeply. “Let’s finish this!” Said Bert.
“Heh!” Bob snorted. Though, even normally breathing was a difficult task in his current situation. “It will be my win!” Bob replied.
The Minotrent made a huge javelin. He used [Mana Coating] on it to convince himself that it was sufficiently solid. He needed to break and penetrate the hard skin of Bob.
On the other hand, Yman noticed that Bob still did not use the Abnormality Gorilla’s Scatter Shot ability.
“Although it surprised me that your friend hides a trump card, looking at their current situation, it was apparent your friend is at a disadvantage.”
Yman suddenly heard Kesha say. He squinted his eyes towards the monitor before opening his mouth.
“Right. The Minotrent could shoot long-range attacks,” he said, agreeing to Kesha’s words. “On the contrary, Bob can only attack in melee. Even throwing concrete is out of the options,” he continued.
“So, do you agree and accept that your friend will lose this fight?”
“No. I still believe Bob will win this fight,” Yman said before smiling.
“Hard-headed delusional…” Kesha muttered.
The remaining time only had 10 seconds left. But, the participants on stage were already in the last stroke of their strength.
“Fufu. This is the deciding moment, My Prince,” Keremi chuckled.
“…..”
