The Mysterious Superstar : Quick transmigration to CEO - Chapter 51
It was already 12 pm by the time Su Jiacheng was done with the homework. The sun was at it’s highest peak with her glow radiating on all over the place.
“Ranran, I am…” Su Jiacheng looked over to where Yan Shu was sitting and the view made him stop midway.
His study room was at the third floor facing the lake side located behind the Su Mansion. The wall facing the lake was made of glass from which a spectacular scenario was visible that creates a calm environment within the study helping one to concentrate. By the glass wall, a three-seater couch was placed vertically in which Yan Shu was sitting the whole time while waiting.
Due to the lack of sleep from last night, Yan Shu fell asleep pretty soon after lying on the couch for purpose of waiting. As her head was on the armrest of the couch, the sunlight fell directly on her face. Her fair face glowed even more under the golden light while the light breeze blew her hair lightly.
Su Jiacheng’s heart skipped a beat when his eyes fell upon the sleeping Su Mo Jiaran. Although he had seen her asleep many times over the past years, this time it hit him different. He wondered if it was because she was growing feminine or if it was his heart that was getting corrupt as he’s getting older. Unknowingly, he stood up from his chair and walk towards the couch where Yan Shu was sleeping. He bent his one knee and held his one arm on the air as if he was shadowing Yan Shu’s face from the overpowering sunlight that was getting on the way of her sleep.
ON the other hand, he kept staring at her without blinking. His eyes soften seeing how adorable she looked. Just as his other hand was moving up to touch her, she moved and changed her sleeping position now facing Su Jiacheng. She cuddled up spreading her arms on it’s opposite sides of her body and her legs bundled into a circle just like a ball. Now that the sunlight was no more irritating her she felt more comfortable which was evident because of her drool.
Su Jiacheng was watching over her whole time she did that and he almost laughed out loudly but stopped himself by putting his other hand that was supposed to touch Yan shu instead landed on his mouth. He stood up and pulled over the curtains so that Yan Shu can sleep soundly and put over a blanket to keep her warm.
He wanted to wake her up but when he saw how sound asleep she was, he couldn’t bring himself to wake her up. In turn, it made him think that since she stayed over Si Junyan’s last night she might haven’t slept a bit to stay on defense the whole night.
‘I won’t let this happen again.’ His eyes changed back to those cold dark eyes as he determined of protecting Su Mo Jiaran at all costs. He put all her homework copies in his bag and left the room after ensuring that everything in the room was alright and the room temperature was on normal mode and looking at Yan Shu the last time.
” Principal, It’s me Su Jiacheng. I would like to trouble you for a small thing.” Su Jiacheng walked down the stairs while conversing with Principal Liu. Since his sister was sleeping, it was obvious that someone needed to go submit her copies in her place. Also, the school was on his way so he was more suitable than the other members who were chatterboxes while meeting someone they knew, he decided to go by himself as it would be faster and Su Mo Jiaran will also be reassured if it was him who went.
“You don’t need to be so formal with me. I will help if it’s something within my reach.”
“Thanks, Princ… Uncle Liu. it’s nothing much just, Jiaran was supposed to submit her homework copies within today but she isn’t feeling well lately so I am coming to school in her place. But since I don’t know her homeroom teacher you were the only one that came to my mind.” It’s been a long time since the last time he has met Principal Liu maybe three year’s back on Jiaran’s father’s death anniversary. So he was inept in calling him uncle again.
Although he is an adult now and even managing half of the Su Empire, he have never meddled in the adult’s relationships. To be exact, he just didn’t like getting involved in so called pretentious relations with bunch of relatives and friends of friends cause it can tire a person the hell out.
Principal Liu falls on the later category. When his uncle was still alive, Principal Liu was a regular visitor of their home. There were even days when he felt like Principal Liu was just another member of their own family. But after his uncle passed away, he has become just another stranger who wouldn’t even called once a year to ask if Jiaran was alright.
Well, Jiacheng couldn’t care less about him. Although curious, he had better things to take care of especially his sister from his grandfather and the flunkeys of his grandfather.
“Not a problem. Notify me when you will reach here. I will be waiting.” Principal Liu sipped on his tea as he hold two phones on both sides with his shoulder.
Principal Liu called Old Master Su as soon as he confirmed that Su Jiacheng has called. He didn’t want to take any risk that was worth of half of his monthly income.
“Will do.” Su Jiacheng hung up and entered his car to drive off to his designations.
Principal Liu heaved a sigh of relief the moment he heard the hanging tune.
It completely slipped his mind that he had his other phone active with another call.
“Longshen, do as he says. I believe you didn’t call me just for this.” The rusky threatening voice came through the phone making his heart skip a beat.
‘Sh*t. If I knew that he was just only going to talk about that I wouldn’t have called this Grumpy man. Sigh now I have to clear up the mess.’ He wiped the sweats of his forehead while thinking what excuse he can actually give.
“Ah.. of course not. This tiny things aren’t worth your attention. I.. I called you for another purpose. Regarding Su Mo Jiaran, she…” With that the conversation continued between Principal Liu and Old Master Su.

Yan Shu woke up to a knock on the door. She rubbed her eyes and got up to open the door realizing that she had slept for the whole afternoon since the sun was now on the verge of setting down.
She let the maid in who came to collect the trash from the room then picked up her phone to check the exact time only to see a notifications of ten missed calls from Demi and three from Morgan and two messages from Sheng Chen to affirm her that her homework were submitted and asking her if she has fell sick again.
Just as she was about to call back, Demi called again and this time without any delay she recieved it quickly.
“Are you still aliveee? Do you have any idea how long I’ve been waiting for you??” As expected of Demi, Yan Shu knew she would scream on her but didn’t expect her to be so loud that she had to put her phone a few inches away from her ear to prevent any kind of blust inside her ear.
“Coming…” Yan Shu knew that no excuse will now work except her showing up there as soon as possible.
