- Chapter 110 A Golden Law That Must Never Be Broken
Hearing Ao Li’s voice made Ao Shuang become slightly surprised, but he once again tried to get up, only to be sent smacking towards the ground with even more ferocity than before, even making a slight crack on the extremelly hard floor.
This crack was proof of how much strength Ao Li used to send Ao Shuang crashing into the ground to suppress him.
This happened a few more times until Ao Shuang’s red eyes became black again. Then he hurrumphed and glared at Liang Chen.
Liang Chen felt his gaze but simply coughed and averted his eyes and began to try and strike up a conversation with anyone that was nearby him.
Seeing that Ao Shuang was calmer, Ao Li glared at Liang Chen and made a symbol into the air and it disappeared. Then the air around Liang Chen distorted and space began to fall appart and a sphere appeared, encasing Liang Chen within it.
Liang Chen looked surprised and looked at Ao Li and said with an expression that screamed injustice and he began to scream injustice and that it wasn’t his fault, completely unaware that no one could hear anything that he said.
Ao Li simply glanced at him and began to make his way back when he saw Liang Meng there, watching him with a very amused gaze.
He sighed and tries to make his way out faster, but noticed that Liang Meng was still watching him and began to approach him, and who knew what point in time she had taken put a bunch of notebooks and ink that flew around her.
Seeing this Ao Li felt a piercing cold shiver run down his spine that told him that if he got caught he would never be able to leave again until Liang Meng was completely and thoroughly finished with him.
Seeing him trying to leave faster, Liang Meng snorted coldly and made a few formations and produced a few talismans that flew towards Ao Li and tried to either delay him or cut off his path.
Noticing those talismans and formations, Ao Li now knew that she would step at anything to get what she wanted. He sighed deeply and stopped on his tracks. He waved his right hand and those talismans seemingly lost their strength and fell to the ground, the formations dispersed and Liang Meng felt an indescribable sense of weakness within her for a brief instant, as if those very same actions of dispersing the formations and sealing the talismans backlashed on her.
One had to know that she was experienced and deep within her was engraved a golden law that all Formation Masters knew about and understood, the law pursuing people and delaying them. It was very simple in fact.
If you want to delay them then never use formations or talismans that may backslash on you. That was the sacred law to all Formation Masters under Heaven, weaker or strong it did not matter.
So, even unconsciously she would never break that law. After all it did not matter if those formations that backlashed on you were stronger than thise who didn’t, your objective is to delay your oponent abd get to him as soon as possible, after all if you could attack, so could your opponent and the risk of him destroying a formation that backlashed on you would also increase, and that would delay you, the opposite of what you wanted.
But somehow, she felt like she suffered a backlash of some sort. This startled her. Then she saw Ao Li simply smile at her and leave.
That smile somehow got on her nerves, or it appeared to have when she suddenly turned her back and ran all the way back to the arena and bully anyone present at the moment.
As for Liang Chen, he was still stuck on the sphere that Ao Li created and was simply glaring and cursing at Chen Xiao for not getting him out of there.
This caused Chen Xiao to feel injusticed, as he would have tried to do so if the seal was not made by Ao Li, the Lord of the Dragon Race.
