- Chapter 94 A Fierce Old Man That Cannot Hide His Anger
Seeing Liang Meng putting that hair pin on her head, Liang Chen felt somewhat relieved.
He had wanted to give Liang Meng better equipment to protect her, but she either always refused, saying that it was unnecessary, would ignore him, or simply wouldn’t use it.
So he had had a hard time getting anything for her to use, but it seems that either because of her earlier defeat, or because they were items that definitely did not come from Liang Chen or from anywhere else, but from the Ao Clan, she accepted them, not paying any attention to their appearance.
Seeing this, Liang Chen felt a little bit relieved, these items would at the very least increase Liang Meng’s chance of survival, if he could not get to her in time.
Seeing that Liang Chen did not speak anymore nor did he move, instead seeming to be thinking of something, Liang Meng made her way out of the room and went into the Formation Hall.
The hall was still empty because of Liang Chen’s previous beating, the disciples went out and still did not come back in yet.
Seeing it empty, Liang Meng decided to start putting into practice everything she had gotten from the previous battles.
Liang Meng, although did not reach the true God Realm, she had been incredibly close and in a few more years time she would be able to enter it, so this was proof of her talents.
So what she had learned in the previous battle, be it either weaknesses or strengths, she had fixed them and put them in another completely different level, or had strengthened it into a completely different path or idea.
Soon enough the disciples that had hidden and surrounded the building where she had been at previously, quickly made their way into the Formation Hall and drew their weapon while preparing to make formations.
This time they were stronger than before. Each of them was a genius to begin with, but they had not been as motivated as their three senior brothers and their senior sister.
But now with Liang Meng here, who had beaten them up quite thoroughly, and after the battle, from some reason their masters punished them with an intensive training, and unless they defeated Liang Meng, the training would get worse by the day.
This was of course some of the elders were beaten, so they also wanted their face back, so they decided to use and train their disciples as best and as ruthlessly as they could, to make them as strong as they could get in such a short time, and then send them to their defeat while making them struggle as best as they could, and then be defeated.
This would not only provide them a good show, but they could also watch their disciples lose, while thinking how to make their training even worse, while also watching Liang Meng’s improvements.
Soon enough, Liang Chen left the house, but he did not make his way towards the Formation Hall, while knowing what was happening in there, he knew that it was not his fun, as his fun was somewhere else.
He made his way towards the Painting Hall, that now had three youngsters, and one old man sitting beside them, while listening to everything they had discussed with Liang Chen previously.
With every word, the old man would go into deep contemplation, and then sigh as he beat their disciples with his spear on their heads as he screamed angrily at them for not having called him previously.
“Master, we discipled apologised already! Please forgive us, we do not want a beating! We simply forgot calling master when Shameless Liang was talking!” A disciple pleaded as he was being beaten mercilessly by his master’s spear that was actualy a bamboo cane.
“And you still have face left to tell me that you forgot about your own master?! How dare you?! You made me miss such an interesting event, so how could I, Ao Shuang forgive you?! You ungrateful disciples!” The old man, named Ao Shuang now beat them even mkre ruthlessly as he screamed almost descending into madness from anger.
From the corner of his eyes, he spotted Liang Chen.
The moment he saw him, it was as if his disleveled long red hair suddenly became scholarly hair, and his long red robes became straight, as they gave him an impressive and opressive air, as it also made him look an intellect from the look in his eyes.
But this did not hide his fierce temper, and neither did it calm his anger that was still showing, as he at an almost invise to the eye speed, he continued beating his disciples with his cane, making them wanting to cry, but having no actual tears to do so.
