The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 15
Time flowed naturally until, abruptly, something changed in the Omniverse.
The Omniverse left a piece of itself in each thing it created, as such it was everywhere, omnipotent.
Beneath the Omniverse were myriad Universes in which were innumerable living beings.
At the place which was considered the centre of the Omniverse, the place which stored the natural laws which all living beings must abide by, eight beams of light shot through space from within.
These were laws the Omniverse uses to maintain balance.
Without them, chaos will rise.
They shot through the skies entering a universe with an Azure star, as if something was calling for them there.
In that universe there were six planets revolving around a star in perfect harmony.
As these lights entered this universe, they collided with the Azure star within, assimilating it slowly.
A torrential mass of energy swirled round and round as a result of the collision, the laws devoured the star combining as one.
The energy condensed, becoming smaller and smaller as time went on.
It was soon smaller than most planets and eventually it shrunk into a tiny pebble-like object.
Resembling a marble, it had a smooth surface and nine swirling colours.
For a time it drifted in space until finally, a nine coloured energy seeped out and began constructing something.
With the energy of the Azure star, a crystal-like bone structure took form.
Blood vessels crept and wound themselves around the bones connecting organ to organ.
Surprisingly what followed was not flesh or skin, rather a thick layer of energy wrapped around the flourishing structure like a cocoon, further refining and purifying the body to the state of perfection.
Some of the energy used to refine the body was leaking out from within staining the surrounding space.
The cocoon began to pulse, similar to a heartbeat, “Ba-bum. Ba-bum”.
It started beating faster and faster sending shock waves to nearby space.
Eventually the beats gathered momentum until finally “Bang!”, a ray of nine coloured energy burst out as an aura which rivaled the Omniverse itself appeared.
The cocoon shattered revealing the man underneath.
The silk-like skin covering his robust frame glowed with a strange light.
His entire body gave off an untainted air, long flowing hair scattered with colour floated around his head, however the strangest feature the man had was a white halo above his head.
It was Jianyu.
His eyes flickered open.

Inside a Victorian style manor which floated in the clouds, there was a young girl speaking to a strange amulet.
“I wish you were here to see it! Aunt Maria gave me my own Blood Phoenix, I named it after mother.
When will you return Father…”
Despite only a few months passing, due to her body being formed from the life essence of the Omniverse, Xiaoling grew at an astonishing rate and she now resembled a nine year old girl.
She sat upon a large silk woven bed in her room, gazing at the heavens above while talking to the amulet her Father left her.
Abruptly, “Soon, Ling’er. Be patient.”.
A familiar voice entered her mind, “Father!”, she wore a complicated expression.
“Always soon this, soon that, wheres Mother!”, she asked greatly frustrated.
Xiaoling had learned that since both she and her Mother went missing and ended up dying, millions even billions of years had passed.
When she died she was still a little girl, however she remembered every moment like it was yesterday.
Her Mother cared for her while her Dad worked, she loved them both but missed her Mom dearly.
“I…”, Jianyu was at a loss for words.
He had just reawakened to find his entire world flipped on its head.
Not only did he stay in the cocoon to forge a new body, but also to assimilate the endless knowledge from the eight profound laws of the Omniverse.
Many things he never understood before about the structure of the Omniverse and other higher planes became apparent to him.
‘I’m sorry.’, he whispered to himself thinking of how difficult he was making things for his daughter.
All those years ago his daughter and wife went missing and now, thanks to the knowledge he received from the laws of the Omniverse he had an inkling as to who created them and in turn who truly pulls the strings.
His face darkened thinking of this.
Xiaoling wept silently on her bed looking at the vast skies outside.
Then she saw it, nine colours flew across the heavens, dyeing the clouds and the air with a rainbow of colours.
She knew it was her Father and he had returned.
***
Within the main hall of a giant golden palace at a corner of the Omniverse, King Leonard I gazed at the middle-aged man kneeling before him.
King Leonard looked like he had aged decades in the past months.
His daughter went missing and now this?
A cold sweat formed a thin film across his wrinkled forehead as he listened.
He felt it once more, that dreadful energy he experienced two or so years ago.
Except this time it had returned far stronger than before.
“So you’re saying the Azure star has just disappeared Trojius?”, King Leonard questioned.
“Yes your Majesty and the bastard, Jianyu has returned!”, Trojius replied with an aggrieved look about him.
“I wondered why he was missing but I suppose this has answered it… and how fares the search for my daughter, any leads?”, King Leonard held no hopes, but for courtesies sake he asked his General to report.
“Actually your highness, we have had some news…”, Trojius said trailing off, a slight smirk pulling at the corner of his lips as he lowered his head.
“Speak! Dammit man! Why wasn’t this reported to me immediately!”, King Leonard was livid.
“We needed time to confirm it, however that b*tch Maria Rubio of the Soft-Slaughter Sisterhood was preventing us from investigating!”, Trojius reported loyally.
Inwardly he was very impressed with his skill at acting, even he almost believed himself.
After he sent the Soft-Slaughter Sisterhood after the man who killed his son, Trojius intercepted Princess Rose and her escort capturing them under the pretense they went ‘missing’.
The reason he did so was not for himself but rather the Princess who he had always doted upon.
The idea of her having to serve that beast as a maid made him want to puke, hence until Jianyu was confirmed dead she would be under his ‘protection’.
Of course little did he know at the time that Maria Rubio and her merry band of assassin-sisters not only failed to kill Jianyu, but also took his daughter under their wing.
Despite him crushing the crystal containing scene of his son’s death, he had an eidetic memory allowing him to watch it back again and again, hence when Jianyu was “already dead” and “there was no girl” it didn’t add up.
Through some espionage Trojius managed to discover that sl*t Maria Rubio had taken in a female disciple which she kept very quiet about, coincidentally it was around the time she was completing the mission.
Unfortunately for Trojius, she had roughly the same amount of strength he did and that merry band of assassin-sisters weren’t as “soft” as they looked, therefore he was unable to act with absolute certainty that he would silence them and take the girl.
But if he couldn’t do it through his own strength, then there was always other ways…
Consequently he came up with this plan, to pin the missing Princess Rose on Maria killing the Jianyu’s daughter in the process.
An eye for an eye!
Trojius could barely contain his excitement, everything was going according to plan.
Listening to his subordinate, King Leonard’s anger boiled over, clenching his fists he commanded,”Dispatch the First and Second armies, lead them to rescue my daughter and wipe out the Soft-Slaughter Sisterhood, make an example out of them. In turn I will await Jianyu’s appearance so we can finally meet, once and for all.”
“Yes, your Majesty, right away!”, Trojius said ending the transmission.
Then before his subordinate Commander Chris, Trojius began to laugh uproariously in the otherwise empty hall…
