The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 16
After Jianyu reawakened, he felt unimaginable power flowing through his body.
His power was on a different level completely from his former peak.
In place of the nine coloured core there is now a condensed and refined marble at the centre of his being.
This was a sign of minor completion in the Nine Colours Streaking the Heavens technique.
Nine strange spiderweb-like branches spread across his body, each strand contained a profound law of the Omniverse.
At the moment, he had nine of these strands but Jianyu knew if his comprehension towards these laws increased more would develop.
Jianyu understood he had only touched the surface of the profound world he lived in.
Looking down at his naked body he discovered nine strange and archaic symbols engraved on his torso, each glowed with a different light.
Touching them lightly, the core inside his body reacted and the space around him began to churn.
As he touched a golden symbol earth and metal began to materialise in space forming a great landmass.
Flabbergasted by this Jianyu discovered a connection between him and each symbol buried inside his mind.
Jianyu finally understood.
These symbols were the representation of the different laws and the branches in his body are the connections to them. The stronger, thicker and more resilient the branches the more he understood the laws.
Channeling the Immortal and Life laws, an atmosphere developed around the land mass while lush forests and herds of animals grew below.
Seeing this Jianyu stopped, retracing his footsteps he channeled the Devil, Demon and Death laws, returning the landmass to nothingness, as if it never existed.
This was the power Jianyu needed to find his wife.

Flitting through space at great speed, shooting past other high realm cultivators he entered the atmosphere of the planet with two continents once more.
Flying down to the mortal city at which he was reborn he waved his hand causing the black Nine Universe ring to appear in his palm.
He slid the ring onto his finger before waving his hand lightly.
The gigantic Dread Knight he refined appeared in the air alongside him, its cold dead sockets stared at the mortal city below generating a sense of anguish.
Without settling it’s grudge with the Zhejiang royal family, Ding Wei’s soul within the Dread Knight would be unable to rest easy.
Upon getting revenge Jianyu’s karmic bonds with Ding Wei would be settled.
Sending the Dread Knight into the Imperial Palace, it ignored the cowering servants drawing its two meter long greatsword and charging towards those who had a part in Lin Yun’s death.
Hundreds of Xiantian realm royal guards in golden armour charged forth to protect the Zhejiang royal family however it was to no avail.
Their reinforced spears decayed upon contact with the Dread Knights aura, they watched helplessly as it strode unimpeded towards their King.
The slightly chubby and rosy cheeked King shivered slightly upon this sight, even he with his Divine Core realm wasn’t confident against so many Xiantian guards.
Just to be safe, the King awakened his slumbering Ancestor before facing the monster.
Drawing a dragon engraved sword he charged forth with the bearing of a King.
For the first time the Dread Knight reacted sensing the aura of Lin Yun upon the Kings body, the black steel greatsword was wielded with ease and finesse by the Dread Knight, swinging it towards the charging King’s middle section.
Not expecting a counter attack, the Kings body twisted raising his sword to block until, “Chi-kacha”, the thin dragon sword split in half while the giant greatsword carried through before the Kings widened eyes of disbelief.
“Crunch- Splat”, the Kings divine armour was helpless against the horrifying weapon, it severed the chubby mans body into two pieces, either piece travelling in opposite directions in the throne room.
The Kings blood drenched the black steel sword and armour adorned by the Dread Knight, further enhancing the terror of the spectators.
They fled tragically from the throne room however the Dread Knight ignored them focusing its attention on an old man which had teleported beside the King’s warm corpse.
A flame of rage was ignited in his eyes as he gazed at the body of his grandson which lay scattered in the room.
His long gray eyebrows twitched as his wrinkled face twisted in fury, he shot forth with his Nascent Soul cultivation causing the Dread Knight to creak under the pressure.
Lin Yun’s aura was most prevelant on the old Ancestor of the Zhejiang royal family, obviously he was the who had killed him.
The Dread Knight growled incoherently, cracking the marble floor beneath its giant frame as it charged towards the Ancestor.
“BANG”, the Dread Knight was sent flying, the Black armour remained completely unscathed as it jammed into the wall, however the body of the Dread Knight was reduced to a bony dust.
Once the dust settled it revealed an old man who was pinned to the other end of the hall, impaled by a giant black greatsword, his horrified face slumped over the blade as the blood dripped in the eerily quiet hall.
Suddenly the black aura of the Dread Knight shot through the air, becoming more and more purified.
It was Ding Wei’s soul.
All resentments in this life had been settled and she could now rest in peace, she shot through the skies to the yellow river.
Jianyu who had been observing from afar heard a “Kacha” in his mind as the karmic bonds in this place were settled.
Now he would pick up Xiaoling.
Using the amulet he left her as a tracking beacon, he was consumed in his own thoughts as he traversed the empty space.
This was interrupted by a sudden message.
“Father you must come quickly! They’re dying, my senior sisters and aunt Maria! Aaah!”
Xiaoling’s terrified scream was cut off by the screech of clashing metal.
Jianyu’s expression darkened he opened a spatial tear travelling millions of kilometers a second.
He wasn’t going to lose her again.

Hours prior to these events…
Xiaoling sat before her master in the Victorian style manor.
A beautiful middle-aged woman gazed jovially at a young girl with a golden energy circulating around her.
Maria Rubio was very pleased with this disciple of hers.
In fact, she was shocked at how formidable Xiaoling was in terms of martial arts.
The young girl sitting before her was close to entering the God Realm, taking not even half a year to cultivate from the Acolyte level to Demi-god.
Their secluded master-disciple practice was interrupted by the abrupt sound of running footsteps and the slamming open of the door, revealing a young woman breathing heavily and sweating.
“Bad news Matriarch! Sister Julianne and her party have encountered the First and Second armies of the Golden Godking being led by General Trojius. Apparently they are heading straight for the Sisterhood!”
“What!”, Maria was speechless.
‘Could Trojius have figured out I took in Xiaoling? But I have never revealed it to anyone outside the Sisterhood.’, she thought frantically.
“Tell all sisters they are to flee. We may be able to put up a fight but we will likely die in the process! Pass the order immediately.”
The woman nodded acknowledging the order, but before she could spread the word the large window in the room stopped shedding light.
The white clouds greyed and the deep roar of thunder sounded attracting the gazes of those in the manor.
Maria’s face became ashen as she heard the thunder.
“It’s too late,” she said sighing dejectledly, “assemble the Sisterhood in the courtyard. We shall make our final stand.”, her eyes lingered on Xiaoling softly before muttering to herself, “our only hope is to stall for his return.”
She rose from her seated position leaving the oblivious Xiaoling in meditation as she exited to stand with her sisters.
Outside the manor, roughly five hundred women each with individual looks about them however each one was beautiful in their own way.
Maria floated before them, her red silk robes slowly hardening, turning into a blood red armour.
“Greetings Matriarch!”, the sisters exclaimed as if meeting their idol.
“Today we face our greatest tribulation as sisters yet. The Godkings First and Second armies march upon our home for reasons unknown, but we will not go quietly into the night! We stand here, as sisters, as family, we die, as sisters, as family!”
The women’s blood was boiling, what odds stacked against us? For every sister who dies we kill ten of yours!
“Come sally forth! For the sisterhood!”, Maria screamed valiantly as she jumped into the skies, a blood phoenix arriving below her, the five hundred sisters mounting their own respective Godbeasts creating a terrifying sight.
The roars of the beasts shook the skies as the grey clouds closed in on the manor.
Each sister was a God realm cultivator, whereas each member of the two armies were Demi-God realm at a minimum.
As the sisters momentum peaked, an elderly man dressed in an azure armour set descended from within a grey cloud.
“Trojius”, Maria muttered glaring at him.
The grey clouds which surrounded the manor suddenly lightened to a golden tint, one by one as if a swarm of locusts hundreds upon thousands of Demigods and Gods with white feathered wings and golden halberds flew from within, painting the skies a rich gold.
Legion after legion flew through the skies towards the manor.
The sisterhood charged back screaming at the top of their lungs.
“BANG”, the collision of the two sides shook the heavens.
Blood ran like rivers as a Godbeast would swallow Winged Gods by the dozen, only to be struck by a lightning spear, blood raining down.
Each sister fought like a God of War, equipped with a blood spear and twin daggers, they pierced their opponents before executing the Sisterhoods’ signature ‘Bloody Mary’ dagger arts.
The heads of the Winged Gods flew ceaselessly under the baneful wrath of the Sisterhood.
Woman and beast controlled the flow of the battle as the initial conflict was extremely one sided.
Maria understood that it was way too easy.
She swirled with her daggers cleaving heads as the Blood Phoenix drank the blood she provided, growing stronger by the minute.
Hours later, the flow ebbed, seeing the initial wave of Winged Gods perish Trojius revealed an ugly smile.
“Send in the Main army, it is time for these cocky b*tches to get a taste of some real men! Ke ke ke!”, he said to Commander Chris, his cackles thundering in the skies.
Under his order, the true army was revealed.
Over a million golden armoured Gods riding Pegassi charged towards the manor, their killing intent drowning the sisters.
Maria gazed at the onslaught in despair.
‘Where are you Jianyu’ she thought.
In the manor below Xiaoling who was in meditation was suddenly roused hearing the Thunder of a million Gods.
Frantically, she contacted her Father as the sisters were impaled on the lances of the riders, she couldn’t bear to watch.

As Jianyu drew closer and closer to the amulet, he could finally see rivers of blood floating through the space, he hurried panickedly.
Before he could get any closer however, a figure drew nearer by the second, travelling at an astonishing speed, although it was nothing to Jianyu.
Standing above the battlefield, Jianyu could see the dire situation below.
The middle aged man arrived before him, cupping his fist.
“Greetings Jianyu, we meet finally. My humble name is King Leonard I.”
Sorry for the late upload, was in a daze writing and forgot what time it was.
