The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 20
After ensuring Raziel and Xiaoling were safe, Jianyu entered a secluded room in the manor.
Closing the fancy wooden door he sat cross legged on a large bed in the center of the room.
Breathing deeply, Jianyu could barely contain his excitement.
One could imagine having to wait trillions of years to reunite with your family, only to be so close you can taste your success.
Jianyu’s consciousness entered his Soul Chamber, the True Soul inside withdrew a strange crystal passing it to the consciousness with an elated expression.
This was one of Jianyu’s most important belongings.
The crystal landed in the palm of his hand as his consciousness returned to his mind.
He gazed down at the object in his palm as he delicately raised his other hand.
Jianyu tapped the crystal, barely making contact with it.
“Kacha-“, the crystal crumbled to dust, leaving only a silver ring.
If one looked closely on the inside there was an engraving.
It read “Song Jianyu and Tian Fei.”
Jianyu sent energy from his body to surround the manor before gently probing the ring.
Inside was the unique aura of his wife.
Jianyu nourished it with his energy, enlarging the aura making it more distinct.
Then, abruptly Jianyu’s expression became difficult.
Opening his Nine Universe Ring, the mountains of spirit stones and blood crystals turned to dust as their boundless energy spread forth from the manor.
Jianyu sent his own energy into this boundless wave, in a sense he was diluting his energy.
The energy spread through the Azure Star Universe, scanning each and every soul within for Tian Fei’s specific aura, iconic to her soul.
It spread outside of the universe, rapidly consuming Jianyu’s endless wealth inside the Nine Universe Ring, Jianyu concentrated his entire being into controlling this gargantuan wave of energy scanning the billions of creatures on each of the trillions of planets.
Further and further, thousands of Universes were searched.
Jianyu’s face became more and more downtrodden, not discovering any traces of his wife, he instead sent spiderweb-like swirls of energy into every nook of the Omniverse, scratching the inside of the barrier at points, he searched the very outer ring of the Omniverse, until his efforts finally came to fruition.
Jianyu sensed a thread of her aura, it was left in an incredibly distant location.
She had travelled through there at some point.
Jianyu didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, he withdrew the energy back to his body before sending his Divine sense to that location.
In that strange place akin to the pits of hell, a boundless gateway floated in the vast space.
The surrounding space was distorted, as it ripped itself apart, different images would appear, ones of blazing infernos, death filled plains and roving metropolis’, each scene more unique than the previous.
Fearing that one of these tears in space would swallow his Divine sense, Jianyu withdrew it engraving that location on his heart, he clenched his fists.
Jianyu thought that Tian Fei was taken from him and brought to this Omniverse, little did he expect that she had only passed through here.
His killing intent threatened to boil over thinking of whoever took her from him.
Not only that but they killed his daughter.
Unable to find a vent, Jianyu buried this anger inside him.
He stood up with a gloomy expression, “Any who impede me will die.”
Taking out a red crystal, Trojius floated frozen inside.
Jianyu removed him from the crystal sealing the room from the outside world along with Trojius’ power to resist.
Jianyu gave Trojius a quick death lessening the stifled feeling in his chest.
Not allowing his rage to cloud his judgement, Jianyu thought about it logically.
Someone who can travel through multiple Omniverses is not only stronger than the current Jianyu, but also holds great knowledge on how to traverse space.
There also had to be a reason behind them taking Tian Fei and in order to do so they had to sense her from such a distance.
This kind of power was above Jianyu’s current level.
While the denizens of the Omniverse’s believed the highest realm of cultivation to be the Transcendant God realm, the past and current Jianyu had surpassed that, hence he had always suspected there to be a higher mountain peak than the one he was on.
“Before I leave this Omniverse I must enhance my strength once more.”
Jianyu’s eyes glowed with a ruthless flame.
The Well of Laws.
Jianyu shot out from the manor, his hand twisted the space around the manor as it shot into the Nine Universe Ring where it would be safe.
He slid the trillion year old silver wedding ring on his finger, it fit perfectly.
Turning towards the center of the Omniverse, the conscience there shuddered from Jianyu’s fiery gaze.
“BOOM”, Jianyu utilised all of his strength appearing as a nine coloured ray as he shot across the Omniverse.
***
The crazed and zombie-like Leonard was approaching Trojius’ palace as he sensed a familiar presence in the opposite direction.
“Trojius? Why is he there? Could it be he is being held captive?” Leonard questioned childishly.
Subsequently, the aura weakened before the nearby palace trembled.
The palace only trembled when its master had died in body and soul.
“Dead? After saving Rose, Jianyu killed him? Jianyu! JIANYU!”, akin to a child having someone whisper in their ear, the zombie-like Leonard jumped from conclusion to conclusion.
“Must go, protect Well of Laws, avenge Trojius- No.. no save Rose! Save Rose first!”, the crazed Leonard turned towards the center of the Omniverse, only to find half his body turning back towards the crumbling palace.
He clawed at his head manically arguing with himself.
“Get out of my head! Begone!”
He clawed at his head until it bled, finally his crazed eyes turned blank for a moment before shooting towards the center of the Omniverse at a speed he never displayed before, three glowing lights at his back.
“Kill Jianyu. Protect the Omniverse.”
***
Jianyu arrived at the Well of Laws.
While he had never been here before, it wasn’t dissimilar to the one in the previous Omniverse.
The only difference was the aura of hostility resonating from here was overwhelming.
In the previous Omniverse, it welcomed Jianyu as one of its children as he studied its laws comprehending eight.
Most couldn’t comprehend one.
Jianyu smashed down on the barrier preventing him from entering causing it to crack, however some lights shot from the well, making the cracks disappear.
Jianyu harrumphed coldly, the aura of hatred from the Well strengthened but so did the fear.
Jianyu launched his Nine Colours technique smashing the barrier completely.
He walked up the steps to the well unimpeded, his grim expression became lively gazing into the Well.
As he opened his pores, about to begin comprehending the faint and distant voice of a man entered his ears.
“Protect the Omniverse. Kill Jianyu!”
Jianyu swivelled, startled by the familiar voice, but also enraged.
“Your quite the persistent one eh? But what makes you think its gonna be different from the last time?” Jianyu bellowed seeing three lights approaching in the distance.
The Well shook behind Jianyu, before suddenly, “BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG”….
