The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 21

Near the center of the Omniverse, a ragged and smokey figure shot across many horizons eventually coming to a stop.

Reaching into the Nine Universe Ring Jianyu withdrew his four mightiest treasures.

He was wounded greviously by the previous explosion.

One thing he did not expect was the Well of Laws exploding.

Two of the four treasures, Erebus and Archaius had been used recently, however the remaining two had not been used for countless years.

A red and black light shot out alongside a silver beam from within Jianyu’s Soul Chamber.

They dove into the set of armour and piece of ragged cloth floating next to Jianyu.

“Awaken, Dahlbrindle. Rise Gaile.”, Jianyu’s frail voice caused the objects to glow with life.

The red and black armour set melted down into a liquid which ate away Jianyu’s rags replacing them with a skintight metal which bent with Jianyu’s movements.

As it covered his face, a new horrifying mask appeared, that of a screaming devil, two long curved horns developed from the forehead of the helmet.

Two holes were left for Jianyu’s eyes, from which a nine coloured light emanated.

This was Dahlbrindle, Jianyu’s eternal protector.

Next a silver cape, attatched itself to the back of the armour, it floated majestically in space.

This was Gaile, Lord of the Winds.

A nebula formed at the capes back, causing it to flutter.

Wind was ever present, no matter where.

Then Archaius and Erebus, as if used to such a scenario twisted their forms, the hairpin Archaius grew into a two meter long grey greatsword with glowing green engravings.

Similarly, Erebus stretched from his normal dagger form matching Archaius’ size, the two swords landed firmly in Jianyu’s gauntlets.

The four servants felt their blood boiling.

The last time Jianyu had used them in unison was when he destroyed the past Omniverse.

Since then Dahlbrindle and Gaile had been recovering, while the swords Archaius and Erebus faced the least damage.

This Omniverse is a six coloured Omniverse, the more colours the more powerful.

The one Jianyu destroyed previously was merely three.

Each colour multiplies its strength many times over, resulting in more profound laws.

Jianyu floated in space, two giant swords in hand, nine coloured lights beaming from the gaps in his red and black armour while the silver cape fluttered in a colossal nebula behind him.

Gaile flickered slightly resulting in Jianyu travelling faster than teleportation, he arrived before the Well of Laws stopping abruptly.

Leonard was hunched over the well, an eerie laugh sounded, akin to nails on a chalkboard.

It would send tingles down any spine.

Jianyu observed, his face visibly darkened.

“This is bad, very bad.”, Jianyu backed off slightly which alerted Leonard causing his back to straighten.

Jianyu clenched his teeth, gripping his longswords tightly he took a defensive stance.

Leonard turned revealing the hollow shell of a man, his face was twisted into a smile as he laughed, his open mouth revealing a spectrum of colours, similarly his eyes were replaced by empty sockets with myriad lights.

The laughter stopped abruptly.

A booming voice surrounded from all around Jianyu.

“Jianyu. Ever since you entered my barrier, you have wreaked havoc. As an Omniverse I sensed the aura of a dead Omniverse on you, so destroyer of Omniverses, murderer of all living, destroyer of all things, time to die.”

Leonard had been fully possessed by the Omniverse.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM”, the endless profound laws of a six coloured Omniverse burst out from Leonards body.

Each and every element and law required to sustain life was under his command.

Karma, Life and Death, Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Thunder, Wood, Metal, Space, Time.

Each of these and many more were packed into a single entity.

They crystalised Leonards body, making it capable of carrying such a heavy burden, but even then it was momentary.

The Omniverse was risking everything to end the scourge that was Jianyu, so that other Omniverses did not suffer the same fate.

Fortunately for Jianyu, he had something they did not, something never imagined by any other being, living or dead.

“Boom.”, Jianyu mouthed smiling behind his mask, his hands shivering in excitement.

This was the first time he could go all out, with no restrictions knowing his wife would not be in danger if the Omniverse was destroyed.

With his minor completion of the Nine Colours technique he controlled more power than ever before.

“KRRRRRRRRRRRK”, from the joints of the armour the nine coloured light swirled out consuming the overbearing myriad lights as it stood strong against all elements, all energies.

One energy to rule them all!

The Nine Coloured Paragon!

The two figures shot forward, raw power tearing not only space but the Omniverse itself in two.

As the endless lights collided with nine, the two longswords clashed with Leonards crystallised claws, The Prince of Darkness and The Sword God fought side by side in Jianyu’s grasp.

The claws would chip and fragment at each collision, Jianyu’s raw power was overwhelming.

The occasional blow would pierce Leonard’s defense tearing his body in half, only to regenerate, losing even more stability by the millisecond.

Millions of blows were crossed each second, but the battle raged on, deep wounds regenerated on Jianyu’s body as the occasional claw pierced Dahlbrindle’s near impenetrable defense.

The nine coloured energy swallowed the other energies whole, it’s fusion was flawless, whereas the uninfused laws contained impurities.

Each time the nine coloured energy swallowed a law it would seal it inside Jianyu’s body, adding to his power.

The seemingly endless battle grew more hectic, the laws began to explode inside Leonards body, each one becoming more and more unstable, Jianyu and Leonard traded blow for blow as Jianyu focused entirely on offense.

At this stage Jianyu had swallowed hundreds of laws including Time and Space.

“Kacha”, in a fraction of a millisecond Jianyu cleft Leonard in two.

In that exact moment, Jianyu’s instincts as an old monster told him that this was the final nail in the coffin.

Now Gaile knew what he had to do, pulling Jianyu out from the battle, as a Soul Treasure it was in sync with Jianyu’s thoughts speeding towards the corner of the shattered Omniverse.

The core of Leonards crystallised body began to consume itself, each atom that made up each particle of energy began to consume another law, then it split into two new atoms which were then consumed by another law.

The energy condensed and condensed, one colour swallowed the next, in mere seconds becoming a white ball.

This white ball condensed more and more into a single atom.

At that time, Jianyu had arrived at the very corner of the Omniverse, he frantically stared at the titanic doors his wife passed through sending the nine coloured energy forth to enter.

After a few moments it cracked revealing a keyhole.

Knowing each millisecond could be his last Jianyu’s mind processed everything around him infinitely faster than the average human genius.

0.000000001 seconds: “Ding.”, the white atom exploded.

0.0000000003 seconds: Hearing Dahlbrindle’s anguished cry, Jianyu cast himself into one of the neighbouring spatial tears taking him to an unknown land.

0 seconds: A new slot opened in the endless void of Omniverses.

The six coloured Omniverse was beyond vaporisation, along with all it contained.

It ceased to exist.
