The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 22
Jianyu’s eyes remained closed.
A stinging pain made his back feel like it was on fire.
Yet he lay there motionlessly, contemplating the events which had just occurred.
‘That’s right, I fought with the Omniverse leading to an explosion, the likes of which I have never seen.’, Jianyu was horrified at that explosion, that white light was destruction in its purest form.
Jianyu gained insights into realms beyond his comprehension from this.
‘I cast myself into a spatial tear, but this feels oddly familiar.’
The smell of grass and pollen filled his senses, he could hear the faint chirp of birds as a light breeze entered the gaps in his armour.
‘Dahlbrindle’, he called in his mind.
‘Yes Master’, a frail voice answered his call.
He sent his servant his thoughts, the armour melted once more turning into a red and black ring with many cracks flowing through it, clearly it was severely damaged.
With the armour gone, Jianyu was left in his birthday suit, but he didn’t have the energy to do anything about it.
The mild breeze was more evident as it brushed against his skin.
Jianyu could hear the flutter of wings in the distance, thinking nothing of it he tried to open his eyes.
What was revealed shocked him greatly.
Many kilometers above him, a winged being floated in a light violet sky.
A blue sun prevented Jianyu from seeing its features clearly, but it outlined the figure of a young woman.
The figure slowly became bigger and bigger, descending towards him.
Jianyu squinted his eyes attempting to make out more features with his blurry vision.
As she floated incredibly close, Jianyu could barely make out her pale azure skin, cherry red lips and fluttering eyelashes as she peered inquisitively to Jianyu.
“Qeis eus? Unide veznis eit quio vaudis?”, the woman spoke a strange language in an inquisitive tone.
Jianyu didn’t respond or move, she could see his eyes gazing at her from the ground.
She came closer, as she did so Jianyu could see a faint blush on her cheeks as she looked at his body.
He closed his eyes, knowing she meant him no harm, he fell into a deep state of unconsciousness to heal his deep wounds.

Carmaelis Pluivium was a member of the Pluivium clan of the four great clans.
She was treasured by all her clan as a great genius of the Avarius race.
There were many races on the Great Plains, if not a thousand then at least eight hundred, but there were only ten great races.
They were the true rulers of the Great Plains.
Carmaelis Pluivium usually receives two missions each solar cycle, or in other outlandish places, it is better known as a ‘year’.
Today she embarked on her second mission, to investigate the disruption in space on her clans land.
Yet when she arrived after half a night of hard flying she found a peculiar being.
She observed it high from the sky, it lay in the purple grass of the Great Plains in a red and black armour.
Red viscous blood stained the purple grass black.
Abruptly the red and black armour disappeared revealing a stark naked pale white youth.
Carmaelis Pluivium sucked in a sharp breath of cold air through her cherry lips noticing the youths features.
His skin resembled the members of the Fulguur clan, yet no wings were attatched to his back.
The blood was similar to the blood she saw Ignius clan members bleed in arena matches.
But what was the most out of place was the youth’s nine coloured hair.
As Camaelis descended she grew closer and closer to his naked body, her normally placid heart fluctuated slightly at the sight of a naked man.
She noticed his eyes close as he fell unconscious, clearly from his wounds.
Camaelis dedicated her life to gaining power, but one of her strongest occupations was in the medicinal arts.
Each of the four great clans had great control over an element.
The Pluivium clan controlled the rain and had a great affinity with water.
As such, Camaelis waved her dainty hand causing a torrent of rainwater to descend from the skies, it condensed more and more becoming a light blue blanket which draped over Jianyu’s naked body.
Then her large blue feathered wings flapped lightly bringing her to the ground, she turned over the male’s body revealing a horrific wound.
Her expression grew serious as she wondered what could cause such a terrifying wound.
The remnants of a silver cape attempted to cover the cavernous laceration to stem the bleeding, but as Camaelis looked more closely it was likely the youth was already dead.
There was no pulse or warmth from his body, on his back the skin had evaporated along with where his wings should have been, revealing half a crytal spine and some ghastly crystal-like ribs.
If Camaelis had not seen wounds half as bad as this infrequently she would have fainted on the spot.
Thinking about it, the youth had just lost consciousness meaning he was not beyond salvation, she swiftly opened her spatial bag withdrawing many precious medicines her clan had gifted her.
Stabilising his condition she wrapped his body before she summoned her mount, a Blue Luan bird, one of the many blessings she received from her Ancestors.
The large elegant beast took off at great speed with Jianyu secured on its back as Camaelis flew alongside it.

Jianyu felt a sharp wind slapping his face.
A warm sensation wrapped his body, similar to a hot bath, a blue blanket hugged his body.
Time passed as he lapsed in and out of consciousness.
By the time his exterior wound had healed they had come to a stop.
He still needed more time to expunge the horrific residual white energy from his body.
If his body was not forged from the Azure star and refined by the nine coloured energy he would have been vaporised despite his proximity from the epicentre of the explosion.
As he stirred he saw a queer elder peer at him, seemingly enraged.
The elder had blue wings tucked behind his back as he examined Jianyu’s physique ignoring the fact he had awoken.
The elder stroked his long light azure beard as he occasionally spoke to Camaelis behind him in the undecipherable language.
Jianyu sat up abruptly however his body felt incredibly heavy.
The gravity in this strange place was many times more than in the previous Omniverses.
‘Interesting’, Jianyu thought.
The laws inside his body whispered that this realm was much more vast and complex than the previous Omniverses.
Jianyu smirked at the angry elder, swinging his body off the bed he pounced onto his feet cracking the stone floor before the bewildered eyes of the woman and elder.
‘Wasn’t he debilitated a moment ago? Suffering from an injury which would kill a God?’, the elder looked at Camaelis with an upraised eyebrow.
She waved her hands comically in response, as if saying she didn’t know.
The elder took one more glance at Jianyu before muttering something as he exited the room.
The winged woman had an angry expression as she raised a finger and reprimanded Jianyu.
Seeing his bewildered expression Carmaelis sighed lightly, she lifted a book from a marble table in the corner of the room, gesturing to Jianyu that he should take it, he did so.
Once he touched the book a flurry of information entered his mind.
Comparing it with the Universal language he used in his previous lives, this seemed less efficient, but was easily understood.
Assimilating the knowledge the woman spoke once more, “I’ll let you read that through, hopefully you’re a quick learner.”, she said exiting the room.
As the door closed Jianyu scanned the room.
Ensuring there were no observational formations he sat on the bed putting the book aside.
He scanned the manor which resided in the Nine Universe Ring, ensuring everyone was okay he then looked over his treasures.
Erebus and Archaius had some minor chips and dents which could easily be repaired however, Dahlbrindle and Gaile had taken the brunt of the explosion as Jianyu entered the spatial tear.
Jianyu needed to aquire certain rare metals and materials to restore his two soul treasures.
First thing was first, he had to heal his injuries and get his bearings in this new and strange world.
From his observations the denizens of this realm were far stronger than the previous Omniverses.
The spiritual energy in the air was far denser than even the most sacred lands in his past worlds and he could tell despite being injured that the elder from earlier was at the Transcendant God realm, the same as Leonard before he was possessed by the Omniverse.
The woman was also at the Elder God realm, the same as Trojius and Maria Rubio.
Jianyu didn’t know if there would be beings who had achieved a realm similar to him here, but he knew there would be people close to his strength.
Feeling determined to get stronger, he began to purify and cleanse his body…
Working on a new cover art behind the scenes.
My senile heart shook when we hit number four on the power ranking yesterday hoho, hopefully a sign of things to come.
