The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 23
Jianyu scanned the inner workings of his nine coloured core and meridians, his recovery was assisted greatly by the winged woman.
Noting this, he sealed the nine coloured energy within his physique preventing experts outside the room from sensing it.
The energy swirled as it located remnants of the white specks, taking some time and effort they were erased one by one.
Once that was complete only an hour had passed.
There were two oblivous guards which stood outside, but Jianyu paid them no heed.
The elder likely thought Jianyu did not cultivate and was a mortal because only people who were more powerful than Jianyu could see through his cultivation, hence the lack of security.
Ensuring no one could see his doings, Jianyu went about raising his strength.
In the recent battle against the Omniverse he suffered many losses but also had one large gain.
In the midst of battle, the nine coloured energy swallowed hundreds of laws Leonard commanded before sealing them inside Jianyu’s body.
Included in this were the laws of Space and Time.
While Jianyu would be unable to assimilate these laws into his own strength, he knew how crucial they were for his Nine Colours Streaking the Heavens technique.
At present Jianyu had achieved Minor Completion in the technique granting him astounding prowess in battle.
In truth, Jianyu had only scratched the surface of the technique.
Currently he had comprehended roughly twenty percent of each energy and law.
This was the most he could comprehend from his own understanding and observations of the state of being over a trillion years.
To further his comprehension Jianyu had to study laws such as Space and Time, allowing him to understand how each of the energies under his control interacted with these laws and in turn he would gain a more profound cognizance of the Nine Colours technique.
This would allow his control and power to grow exponentially.
Jianyu could not even fathom what level he would reach if he achieved Major Completion in the Nine Colours technique.
With a fire in his belly Jianyu studied the less significant laws first.
The nine coloured energy thickened inside his body as spiritual energy in the world around him was drawn in faster and faster.
Immersed in comprehension Jianyu failed to notice these minor details, however others did not.
Despite noticing the influx of energy the experts in Carmaelis’ clan chose to ignore it as an erratic flow of energy was commonplace in a cultivation clan.
Jianyu continued digesting the laws, the dense energy in the world was drawn in faster and faster.
Soon it began to swirl in the room great gusts of wind being created as a result.
The guards hearing the racket slammed open the door only to be blown backwards smashing through the wall in the hallway into another room.
Only then did the elders realise something was going on.

Seated in her room, Carmaelis pondered the strange man she had saved whilst refining more medicines to make up for the ones she used.
“Bang!”, the door to her room slammed open, “Aah!”, she shrieked, almost jumping out of her skin.
Dropping the utensils she turned angrily only to see a familiar old man.
It was Michaelis Pluivium, the Second Elder of the clan and also the most proficient physician here.
“You have some explaining to do Carmaelis.”, he reprimanded with a tight expression.
Carmaelis jolted heaing this, “Whats happened teacher?”, she replied respectfully.
The old man was her teacher in the ways of medicine, hence she treated him with the respect he deserved.
Michaelis’ expression relaxed slightly realising she was oblivious, he spoke once more, “That barbarian you brought to our clan is wreaking havoc, come have a look.”, he turned and flapped his wings slightly about to head to the strange scene.
Carmaelis was astounded and couldn’t help but question, “But teacher, didn’t you diagnose him as a mortal through and through personally?”.
Hearing this Michaelis gritted his teeth, “Unfilial brat, I raised you like my own yet you question me? I merely stated that the barbarian did not cultivate orthodox techniques, I did not rule out the possibility that he was a cultivator!”, flicking his sleeve Michaelis harrumphed ascending to the skies.
Wanting to refute, Carmaelis decided against it following him into the skies, departing from her private tower.
Despite the Pluivium clan being spread across a great distance the living quarters and Carmaelis’ tower were in close proximity to each other and factoring in the speed of Michaelis and Carmaelis they arrived swiftly.
But what greeted them was the ruins of the former living quarters and a very familiar face floating in the sky surrounded by a large hurricane of spiritual energy which was devastating the surroundings.
Michaelis’ jaw dropped at the sight.
In the moment he was gone it had developed from a swirl in a room to a hurricane above the ruinous living quarters.
After opening and closing his mouth wanting to say something, completely astounded by the scene before him he soon regained his rationality.
“Gather the Elders, we must minimise the damage caused. Quickly!”, he boomed towards a nearby guard.
After the guard departed towards the Elders hall, Michaelis nodded towards the Protectors and Elders currently present, many archaic runes began to float and black clouds gathered in the purple skies.
Soon torrential rain poured into the hurricane of spiritual energy, it hugged it swirling with it.
The violent nature of the hurricane became more mellow as the rain coated it, suppressing the chaos slightly.
However, Michaelis’ success was short lived as the hurricane soon ripped the formation apart, more violent and destructive than before causing Michaelis and the other old men to cough blood.
“Retreat to safety, go!”, Michaelis shouted to the onlookers.
Not realising the gravity of the situation the clan members hurriedly fled the scene as the hurricane of spiritual energy continued to expand, growing more and more rampant by the second.
As the clan members began to evacuate the metropolis-like settlement a group of venerable men and women exited the largest tower in the clan, their expressions were dark.
The men had long azure beards and light blue wrinkled skin, the women were all middle aged but an ancient aura was present on their bodies.
They all had long blue feathered wings and the distinctive purple robes of Elders.
They soared into the skies following a middle aged white robed man.
The man had long dark blue hair and dark blue wings to match it.
Majestic presence made the powerful group of elders appear underwhelming in comparison.
The man gazed coldly at the hurricane which rampaged through his clan.
The group faded into vapour reappearing in the skies alongside the hurricane of energy.
“Who dares to wreak havoc in my Pluivium clan!”, the white robed man boomed, the shock waves from his voice caused the hurricane to slow coming to a stop before it began to disperse.
“Eh?”, a baffled voice sounded from within the residual energy from the hurricane.
Jianyu roused from his state of enlightenment only to find himself before a large group of blue winged experts.
His eyes darted around the familiar looking ruins below him as his puzzled expression faded.
This was the first time he had attempted comprehending laws and as such did not expect the natural world to react in such a way.
Despite him wanting to maintain a low profile in order to familiarise himself with this new realm, he ended up causing such a commotion in a presumably large and renowned clan.
The news of his arrival would spread far and wide resulting in endless hassle.
In the end it did not make much difference, power was the only truth in every realm, world and Omniverse.
Fortunate for both the Pluivium clan and Jianyu, he had just gained a deeper understanding of life energy, allowing him to restore life to inanimate objects, reversing time in a way.
This was how the Life and Time laws interacted, the only downside being the horrific rate of consumption which was proportionate to how much time was reversed.
For Jianyu, reversing a few minutes on such a small scale was child’s play.
Flicking his hand green energy began to enter the rubble and dust as the building seemingly reconstructed itself before the flabbergasted eyes of the onlookers.
The living quarters were almost instantly restored, even the white robed man couldn’t prevent his jaw from dropping.
Camaelis’ eyes beamed at the youth in the skies, as if she were staring at the greatest treasure in the realm.
How big of a reward would she receive from the sect for making such an ally?
Jianyu shivered noticing her fervent glare, thinking to himself that she was scarier than all the other clansmen combined.
Turning his attention to the apparent figurehead present he announced, “I am Song Jianyu, a foreigner to these lands, apologies for any inconvenience I may have caused in restoring my condition…” Jianyu bowed his head slightly towards the white robed man, acknowledging him.
The nine laws in Jianyu’s body were screaming to him that this man had unfathomable mastery over the water element and law.
The white robed man suddenly bowed so low his figure formed a ninety-degree angle in the air.
“Pluivium clan Patriarch, Peregrine greets senior Song Jiany- no elder Song.”
Each and every spectator pinched their skin as if dreaming at this spectacle, however only Jianyu and Peregrine knew of each other’s disparity in strength.
Jianyu smirked, glancing at the goosebumps on the mans arms, knowing he was scared shitless.
“Let’s have a chat, shall we?”, Jianyu got straight to the point dropping all formalities.
The quivering Peregrine seemed to relax, detecting no hostile intent he coughed lightly, his skin thicker than an ox, “All clan members are dismissed, if any word of today’s happenings gets out, none of you will be spared from punishment.”, he proclaimed his majestic aura frightening those clans men silly.
Almost in the same moment, he turned to Jianyu, his figure bent subserviently as he gestured towards the tower, “Yes elder Song, this way.”
The Elders behind Peregrine were all old monsters in their own right and had complete faith in Peregrine’s personality.
They knew that if Peregrine was humbling himself before this figure, even if there were ten Peregrine’s he wouldn’t stand a chance in a fight.
They shivered at the thought, following behind their Patriarch, quieter than mice…
