The Nine Coloured Paragon - Chapter 4
Almost instantaneously after Alicia crushed the medallion, the skies over the garden darkened and thunder rumbled.
Out of a spatial tear the mysterious figure of a young man appeared, flying high above the empty lake.
Sparks of azure lightning surrounded him as if a Heavenly Tribulation was about to descend.
Looking down at the figures of Alicia and Jianyu below disdainfully, the man arrogantly swaggered through the air.
A golden laurel rested on the young man’s head, in his right hand he held a sheathed long-sword and a set of violet armour with golden trimmings adorned his chiseled body.
The insignia of an azure crown was plastered across his chest-plate.
A snow leopard fur cloak fluttered in the wind along with his short azure hair.
He floated down to roughly a foot off the ground, as if the ground was not worthy of his presence.
He ignored Jianyu’s existence completely, choosing to consult Alicia first.
“You called?”, a snobbish voice boomed around the open field causing Alicia to tremble.
Jianyu stared at the brat’s back coldly, furrowing his bushy eyebrows.
He despised this type of person the most.
“Heavenly knight, Vice-Captain Gallius!,” Alicia replied, her silver helm reverting back to a crown, she cupped her fists before the noble youth in salutation, “This old man infiltrated the Sacred Garden and defiled the Life Essence lake consuming it completely. Somehow it caused an anomaly to occur, allowing the birth of a Spirit of Nature.”, Alicia reported to the Vice-Captain loyally.
Taking a deep breath, she continued her report, “The senile old man then illogically claimed that the Spirit was his daughter, which led to a small skirmish. I would have easily dealt with him if he hadn’t drawn a mysterious-“.
“No excuses Alicia”, Gaullin waved his hand at her, uninterested.
She wanted to retort but the rational voice in her head disallowed her to.
Gallius turned to face Jianyu who he had ignored since arrival, flicking his snow leopard cloak pompously.
Observing the elderly man before him from down the bridge of his nose, he muttered, “Hmph, weakling”, before casting his lascivious and creepy gaze on the small girl in the hut behind Jianyu.
Jianyu shivered coldly, he had not been enraged so much in his life.
“Ke ke ke, good good, I Jianyu thought my countless eons of cultivation would go to waste, however to kill a brat like you, it is all worth it.”, Jianyu spat each word slowly, his face twisting.
His pupils had turned into sharp daggers piercing Gallius’ soul.
“Fourth Transformation: DEMON!”
Jianyu’s eyes turned a striking pure crimson, unable to vent his boundless rage.
Shuddering slightly, bone-cracking noises fell into Gallius’ ears.
Jianyu’s body suddenly began to expand.
Energy-rich blood dribbled slowly from the corners of Jianyu’s mouth, originating from the core of his cultivation, the dantian, destroying it completely.
His previously withered muscles became filled with an endless vitality, his frame grew to that of a giant, towering over the formerly haughty youth.
His growth stagnated when he grew to roughly ten meters tall, resembling a fiendish giant from the primordial era.
Blue veins ran across the exposed swollen muscles, a loud “ba-thump- ba-thump” of his heart sent the blood swirling through his vessels.
Gallius finally put on a serious expression, unsheathing his sword he gazed up at Jianyu’s eyes, “Finally, a worthy adversary.”
“Come, meet your maker brute!”, landing lightly on the ground he took a stance, pointing his long-sword at Jianyu fearlessly.
Jianyu revealed an evil smile, his gaze disdainful looking at Gallius like he was observing an amusing clown.
Raising his head to the skies Jianyu released an Earth shattering, Heaven quaking “ROAR-“.
Nine coloured energy burst out from his body devastating the area before Jianyu, leaving Xiaoling within the hut untouched.
Alicia without Divine energy to support her was sent flying with a spurt of blood shooting like a fountain from between her cherry lips.
Gallius utilised all his strength to stand his ground digging his heavenly long-sword into the soil he had deemed unworthy to even stand on previously.
The wind generated from this energy alone shattered the protective armour on his body, the cloak was torn from his back as his azure hair was ripped from his scalp savagely, giving him a disheveled look.
Cuts and lacerations covered his body each causing a stream of scarlet to sweep through the air, carried by the wind.
The wind stopped suddenly, finally he could open his eyes which were wide in disbelief.
He looked up as the sun was blotted by his impending doom.
“Ah-” he squeaked out, knees giving way as a wet patch formed around his crotch, slumping to the ground in despair.
“Whoosh- SPLAT!”.
A gargantuan palm reduced Mr. Pompous to a puddle, staining the brown earth red.
Jianyu in his enraged and delirious state gazed at his now sticky palm perplexed, with a tinge of disappointment.
“TOO WEAK…”, a voice similar to a growl reverberated with the flattened surroundings.
Jianyu’s energy suddenly evaporated like the last flicker of a candle,
his body deflating rapidly like a balloon.
He fell to the ground, trying to claw his way across the bloody field towards the hut, finally fainting in the doorway.

The Ninth Heaven.
A source of pride and joy for the dwellers of the Azure Star Universe.
This was where the General Trojius resided, the proud protector of this star sector appointed by King Leonard I himself.
Trojius kneeled before a middle-aged man’s apparition as he received his orders.
It was King Leonard, transmitting his will to Trojius.
“Under no circumstances are you to provoke that being.”, Leonard pronounced slowly with utmost clarity.
Nodding in response Trojius replied,”It shall be done your Majest-“.
“Bang”, the finely chiseled marble doors of the Palace Hall burst open as the Commander of the Heavenly Knights flew towards the kneeling Trojius, holding a crystal with beads of sweat drenching his panicked face.
Trojius swivelled around to face the Knight, enraged and about to discipline his subordinate, he was interrupted once more.
“Patience Trojius, let him speak, it must be important.”, King Leonard said gracefully, with the bearing of a sovereign.
The Commander, unable to see Leonard’s apparition floating over Trojius’ shoulder kneeled before the general, panting heavily.
“Vice Commander… Gallius… dead…..”, taking a deep breath not daring to meet Trojius’ gaze the Commander gasped out, “The soul stone on his body transmitted his last moments…”.
Holding up the crystal with both hands to Trojius he kept his head bowed, quivering in fear.
“My… only son. My Gallius! Which bastard did it?!”, snatching the crystal from the his hands, pouring energy into it both he and Leonard watched the past-events replay from Gallius’ perspective, King Leonard quivering slightly at the image of the demonic being which decimated Gallius.
“I’ll kill him!”, Trojius clenched his teeth shattering the crystal in anguish, tears streaming down his face.
He turned to King Leonard only to see a listless expression.
“Ah what hideous deeds did you do to provoke such a being.”, Leonard inquired, sighing resigning the situation to fate.
“What does your Majesty mean?”, Trojius inquired, heart sinking.
“You cannot have revenge”, placing his illusory hand on Trojius’ trembling shoulder, he continued, “as doing so will endanger all beings living or dead.”
“Trust me Trojius, from one father to another. I know your pain.”, sighing once more King Leonard was depressed remembering the sacrifice of his daughter.
“What you need now is time. Time heals all wounds. Don’t do anything stupid in the meantime, my daughter is on her way.” Patting the expressionless Trojius once more before dissapearing from whence he came.
The Commander was terrified thinking that his liege had gone insane, talking to himself, immersed in grief.
Trojius quaked before slumping into the throne at the end of the Palace Hall. His expression steeled before he muttered, “Leonard has become soft. I will not let Princess Rose be resigned to a fate worse than death. Debts of blood must be paid with blood. Watch closely my son, I will make him suffer.”
His lifeless eyes brightened, his blood-lust was ignited. He gazed sternly at the man kneeling before him.
“From the Soul Crystal, it’s obvious the being is severely weakened during this period. Commander Chris, you are lucky you’re still useful to me, otherwise you would be buried with what’s left of my son. Contact the Soft-Slaughter Sisterhood, I want him alive, death is too merciful. Tell them I’ll make it worth their while”, smiling psychotically Trojius rubbed his hands together as if Jianyu was within the palm of his hand.
“It will be done General.”
