“Ah Well, let me show you!” Ludokai suddenly unleashed his killing intent as he leisurely kept approaching Mars. This killing intent was far stronger than anything Mars could produce and it even caused the temperature to fall.

Feeling a confrontation approaching Mars quickly used his lightning flash movement art and quickly dashed backwards!

“That will not work” Shaking his head Ludokai just tightened his grip on his pocket watch. The pocket watch started to emit mysterious aura of time which quickly filled the area!

Mars suddenly felt a profound sense crisis gripping his heart and he retreated with an even greater speed! But before he could get very far his body suddenly stopped in place! He felt as if some invisible chains had coiled around his body. He suddenly had a very weird sensation, as if time was suddenly running backwards! He quickly lost control of his body and started moving back towards the place he was previously standing! The motions of his body were the exact same as the ones he made while getting away, only this time they were backwards! He even had trouble thinking and couldn’t do anything to stop his movements.

Thunder rumbled inside his body and thick red arcs of lightning began to streak across his body. This wasn’t something Mars did deliberately. But it was something his own path gem was doing on its own! Apparently it felt provoked and was taking actions to fight against the mysterious time aura.

With boom the time aura dispersed a few meters away from Mars and he managed to regain control over his body. However this only lasted a single breath of time. In the end the disparity in power between the both of them was too great.

Mars continued lose control of his actions and quickly returned to where he was previously standing. Once he stood there he felt as he was frozen in place. He couldn’t move at all and even had trouble thinking.

Ludokai’s killing intent intensified with each step he used to approach Mars. He was holding a needle like sword on his left hand and his pocket watch on his right hand. Once he got close enough to Mars he quickly moved his sword and pierced through Mars chest.

“You” With an incredulous expression Mars didn’t even know what to do. He was completely powerless! Although he had guessed this guy was strong, he never thought he would be THIS strong. What shook his heart the most was that as his body was being pierced he realised this guy’s power was around 70,000! Furthermore he could tell that he was still at rank 4! This meant his star path was just as powerful as his own!

Hell! He didn’t even know why he was being attacked!

Ludokai withdrew his bloody sword and calmly stepped back.

Puh! Mars coughed a mouthful of blood and stumbled several steps back. With an unreconciled expression he stared at Ludokai with eyes full of hostility!

With gritted teeth he managed to utter a single word question,”Why!?”

However Ludokai just shook his head and sighed, “To prove a point!”

He then proceeded to raise his pocket watch and unleashed his whole power! In no time the aura of time got several hundred times stronger! The world soon lost its colors and everything turned black and white.

Mars saw a shadow separate from Ludokai and he once again lost control of his body. Soon Time began to turn backwards! Mars quickly returned to the position where he was pierced and the sword once again entered his chest. However this time after the sword left his body his wound disappeared as well. The moment before he was pierced by the sword had been reversed.

At this point Ludakai stopped unleashing the time aura and took a deep breath.

With an expression full of astonishment Mars quickly checked his chest but couldn’t find the wound anymore. Even the blood he had coughed previously was not there anymore. Raising his head Mars just stared at Ludakai in silence. It was obvious he wouldn’t able to escape even if he wanted. Since that was the case he could remain in a passive position and wait for this asshole to speak. He still didn’t know what the hell was this all about.

Ludokai took a second to recover and catch his breath. Then he stared back at Mars with a confident smile. He raised his chin a few centimeters and said while waving his hand nonchalantly, “Listen, I’m not trying to brag but I’m pretty good controlling time! Maybe unparalleled! I used a mystic technique that goes beyond your comprehension to peek at my future!” As he said this his silver eyes suddenly turned profund and his black hair danced even danced without wind.

Even though he was astonished by Ludokai’s words outwardly Mars just frowned. This asshole had just pierced his chest two seconds ago and he felt annoyed. Not trying to brag my ass! Even your natural aura turned archaic and mysterious!

Ignoring what Mars might think Ludokai continued, “You happen to be involved in my future. That’s how I knew you would be coming today and would be searching a woman named Clair! I know everything you will be doing after arriving to the palace and even the day you rise to prominence! And I know which day you will die! So you should tread carefully before me!” With every word Ludokai’s momentum kept increasing. Soon he even looked like an almighty existence who could grasp the whole world with a single hand.

Although Mars didn’t want to, but he had to admit he had been awed by this crazy guy. Although he wasn’t convinced at all by what he was saying, he was subconsciously starting to think that there was a possibility that it might be true.

At this point Ludokai suddenly sighed with a difficult expression, “Listen, that story I just told you It’s not a story! But our future! You will die and then I will die! But most importantly I will die!”

His expression turned more and more difficult and he sighed again, “After making several million calculations that go beyond your comprehension… I assessed that Well, I need your help to defeat that bitch!” At this point his expression quickly changed and gritted his teeth while he said in anger.

But just like a book’s pages his expression flipped again. The next second he was staring at Mars with a serious and dignified eyes. “I will help you eliminate the flaw in your heart. With my help you shall get stronger and survive! In exchange you shall enter an alliance with me and shall own me a big favor! No matter what it–”

“Wait!” Mars suddenly interrupted him. “What the hell are you talking about!? You just fudgin stabbed me, alright?! Why did you even stab me if you wanted to form an alliance with me!”

Even though this guy mentioned a flaw in his heart Mars refused to acknowledge anything he was saying. He assumed that someone had told Ludokai about his test in the bridge.

Although he was shocked by all the nonsense this dude was saying he was also enraged.

Alliance? Why pierce me with a sword then!?

And then he shall own him a ‘big’ favor? Bah!

Yeah, you own the a path of time but how the hell does that prove that you can see the future!? And even if you can, how do I know you are not lying and trying to fool me?

A million calculations that go beyond my comprehension! Shill the fudge out alright!

If it wasn’t because this guy was much stronger than him Mars would already slapped him in the face!

“Ha! Well you might not believe me now, however that piece of paper is my proof!” Snorting Ludokai turned around and began to leave.

“WAIT!” Mars quickly dashed in front of him and stopped him from leaving. “Is that fudging it!? You are leaving just like that!?”

“Tch!” However Ludokai just snapped his fingers and the next second Mars returned to where he was previously standing. Looking back at Mars he said nonchalantly, “Yes, that’s fudging it! I will find you later!” Then he disappeared in the distance.

Mars was when he returned to the place he was previously standing. He wanted to follow but him but he felt it wouldn’t be a good idea. This guy could easily toy with him and he wasn’t his match at all.

Looking at the piece of paper in his hands he frowned. He wanted to throw it away but ended up storing it in his space ring. He wanted to search for his residence now however that was also the first thing it said he would do on the list so he hesitated.

“Fudge! I hate that asshole! Well, I’ll let him guess the first point!” Gritting his teeth Mars went on his way and searched for his residence.

I was planing to release a two more chapters today but work got in the way.

However I will try to release three chapters tomorrow and on Sunday.

About this chapter!

Ludokai is basically an ‘MC Level’ character. Before I began writing this story I had even thought of making him the protagonist of this story, but due to several reasons I ended up creating Mars character instead. He will be sticking around for awhile!
