The One Luna - Chapter 35 New Developments
It had been seven days and the was still busy strengthening their members and bolstering their numbers even further while new developments were happening around the world as well.
In America, were starting to pop up everywhere. The was currently the largest, followed by the , and then the formed by New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Each one, while still working towards clearing up their own states, had plans on creeping towards the middle of the nation for more territory. While Central America was struggling as well. Not to mention that prisons were now a stronghold for criminals.
In China, the Government had turned from having evacuation areas, to evacuation fortresses, similar to the . University students that managed to survive also occupied their respective universities and expanded from there. With everybody struggling to survive since the beginning, even the world’s governments didn’t have any means to stop people from creating their own factions. Especially with guarding every City and zombies spawning in areas that haven’t been challenged yet no matter how many of them you kill, there was no means for anybody to expand fast enough this early on.
Similar situations were happening all around the world. Perhaps, this was exactly what the Gods wanted. Previous powers meant very little, only the ones with the most potential can emerge.
The problem with the bigger countries was that their huge population was now more of a liability than an advantage. Meanwhile, the Philippines as an island nation, was only connected through bridges. Which made the threat of an over 1 million-sized horde, almost impossible. Even if they did, as long as it was detected and they were fought on the bridges, it wouldn’t be too much of an issue, especially with Luna’s plan of building walls and a gate to secure the area further.

Meanwhile, in the Southern Philippines, Mindanao, in the small island of Basilan.
“Commander, we’ve finished rounding up the remaining survivors here.”
“Good. What about that damned woman, Josie Rizal?”
“She… got away, sir.”
BANG! The man was instantly shot dead.
“Incompetent! You can’t even catch ONE woman! Send the trackers to hunt her down! She CANNOT relay the information about us to the !”
“Yes, Commander!”
This was Omar Maute, the only surviving leader of the Maute terrorist group now known as the , after the new world. After being beat back by the Philippine military, they managed to fight back after taking advantage of the chaos on the onset of the apocalypse. Right now they were gathering survivors and their families, conscripting the men, and placing their loved ones in concentration camps so they don’t run away.
The woman they mentioned earlier, was a level 30 survivor. They all knew of the and Omar did not want anybody to leak information regarding his group’s occupancy, at least not until they gained a much better foothold. More specifically the bridge connecting Mindanao and the Negros Island.

The domes surrounding the landmasses that appeared on the onset of the new world was slowly but surely dimming by the day.
Inside the one that spawned on the Sulu Sea.
“Father, will we be alright?” A young girl with pointy ears and long blonde hair looked towards a middle-aged man with similar features.
“I don’t know yet, child. I hope we will be. I hope our people don’t make the same mistake as before.”
This was the Elven race. A race determined as the loser in the planet where they came from. The ones inside this particular dome were weak compared to their strongest warriors that died in the war. Clearly they were the survivors that were being protected as their warriors fought.
Just as the two were talking, an older Elf walked out from inside their house on top of the trees.
“Indeed our race was foolish. Our foolish pride lead to our demise. Waging war, refusing alliances with the Dark Elves with no reason other than the fact that we deemed them as evil for their skin color, and the times where someone from their race committed huge crimes. Yet we were fools, thinking we were smart to use those as excuses to wage war against them.” The old Elf had a face filled with regret when he remembered the atrocities they had committed veiled as righteousness.
“Indeed. In the end, when the King of the Dark Elves became a Rank 10 evolved being, becoming a Demi God, killing our King who was at the cusp of reaching that same rank. None of it mattered, both of our races, refusing to work together, succumbed to the Void races. As to whether the Void races or the Human race won after that, we don’t even have the qualifications to know. So many things we could have done right. At the very least, in this world, I hope we’re given that chance.” The middle-aged Elf replied.
The young Elf listened attentively to the two. The Elven race was blessed with their affinity to the elements, giving them a natural advantage with magic, which meant that even their warriors were well-versed with using magic along with swordplay. This naturally made the Elven race look down upon the others.
They didn’t know which world they ended up in. They could only hope they didn’t land in a world ruled by the demon race, or any other bloodthirsty races. If they did, they’d have an even lesser chance of survival.
Unbeknownst to everybody, the landmasses, controlled by Godly energies, started to inch a bit closer to the who had the strongest evolved being. The one in the Sulu Sea in particular, gravitated toward the Negros Island.

Meanwhile, after a whole week of almost non-stop grinding, the got much closer to level 40 on average. Their target initially, was level 50, but those who reached level 40, found out just how exponentially difficult it was to level past that point. In MMORPGs this would be known as a soft cap.
There wasn’t much else they could do about it, except continuing to expand their territories. With this being the case, Luna finally had some breathing room. He headed over to the area where St. Scholastica’s Academy used to stand. He originally intended for this place to be a school, but after that challenge, not much of it was left. On the bright side, the four combined turned half of the area into a Lake. In the middle of it was a small island with the in it. This place was now considered as Holy Ground, access to it was restricted as there was only a contraption used to constantly siphon water for everyone to use.
There was a bridge formed by the roots of the trees leading to it. Luna was greeted by Emergency Food, World Destroyer, and Spot were by the shore along with Sura as they all greeted Luna. These three had actually grown quite a bit, they were already almost the same size as regular adults of the species prior to the new world. Just as Luna arrived by the bridge.
*Crack*
The egg inside the crib was starting to hatch, beside it, was Maxene.
It turns out that the was given to her. When they turned level 40, she ended up learning a new skill: Beast Master.
