“You can use magic?!”

He thought that this world had magic, but he never saw someone using it, that’s why he was surprised.

“You don’t? How could you break that barrier?”

“Using…force? I just punched.”

“That barrier is not the strongest, but normal people could never break it only with a punch. Which means that you are very strong, right?”

Hearing her praise, Hiro was somewhat embarrassed.

“Hold my hand.”

“We are already in this stage?!”

Reaching out her hand, she smiled and said:

“Come on, it’s necessary for you to fly.”

“O-okay.”

Holding her hand and feeling her warm, the wind started to circle around them.

“You can control the wind?!”

“Yes. You really don’t know any magic?”

Not wanting to release his biggest secret, he told a tiny lie

Treating this as an ordinary thing to do, Miwa started to go higher and higher.

As they were holding hands, Hiro was right after, one meter, two meters, ten meters…

“I’m flying!”

“Yes, now you are flying.”

Manipulating the air with magic, Miwa and Hiro started to move slowly, then it became faster each second that passed.

“We’re at least a hundred kilometers per hour, aren’t we?!”

“I don’t know these terms, but we are very fast. I said that it would take one week, but that’s not right, we will be there in two days.”

“I spent one month just to get out of that forest…”

“You mean the dried forest? That forest is not that big, but it can confuse people because of it’s scenario, everything is the same in that place.”

“So, you’re saying that I actually lost myself?”

“Probably.”

Making a funny face, Hiro then said:

“But someone said that the forest is really big and that I would take a long time to get out of it.”

Thinking about something, Miwa smiled and said:

“That person knew that you would get lost in the forest.”

“Pfft!”

After some time of silence, wanting to know about the thing that every person on Earth, with some exceptions, would like to have, magic, Hiro asked.

“Now, tell me more about magic, please.”

“Hmm, there is three elements, water, earth, and wind. Each person can control one element since birth. Of course, they wouldn’t know how to use since birth, someone would teach them. That’s it, basically.”

“I understand- Where is the fire element?!”

“Fire? The only ones who can control fire are the devils.”

Since an early age, Hiro was in love with games, movies, anime, and manga. Within certain genres, like RPG, there would be elemental magic, and in all of these there would be fire magic, of course, he would be disappointed with this world having no fire element.

Suddenly, time stopped. Hiro didn’t saw a reason for this, but if the system started, it meant that he would gain something.

‘She is wrong, Hiro. Fire magic can be used by everyone, and you can do it too.’

“Can I? How can I obtain it?”

‘Through the system, is the status section.’

“Status…status..”

Opening his status bar, he saw:

For Hiro, the first four magic types were not that nice, they were very normal. As for gravity and thunder magic, in his vision, they were really cool.

“If I can learn all of them, the first will be fire!”

Selecting the ‘fire’ option, the remaining grayed out.

“Heh, I can control fire now, I’m invincible! Now, the second magic type will be thunder!”

Hiro tried to select thunder, but nothing happened.

“Why can’t I learn it?”

Right when he was going to select another option, he saw a message below.

‘You selected ‘Fire’ as your main magic. You can’t be a dual magic type user.’

“…If I’d known this…”

All of this happened in thirty seconds, and now, time was over.

Going back to reality, he was still flying with Miwa.

“I’ve never heard of a human who could control fire, but the world is big, there could be people who can control other types of magic.”

Hiro was not listening to her, he was trying to summon a flame, but the wind was not letting it ignite.

Miwa saw that Hiro was trying something with his hand and said:

“What…are you doing?”

Making countless strange hand moves, he said without looking.

“I’m a fire mage, it seems that summoning fire is not that easy.”

“Fire? Are you a fire mage? How can you do it?”

“I don’t know either, I’m trying right now.”

Miwa has her doubts, he asked her a moment ago if fire magic existed, now he was suddenly saying that he was one of them, anyone would think it was suspicious.

“Anyway, try it when we stop, then you will have time to think.”

Flying at full speed for hours was not an easy thing to do, so they had to rest every three hours. Hiro used the free time to train his magic, but he never succeeded once in the whole week.

“Kingdom of Nark. It’s name came from the Narkutt royal family. They’ve reigned for two hundred years already. I don’t know much about the previous royal family, but I heard that a tragedy happened back then and the whole royal family died.”

“Hmm, it’s very normal, right? Something happens and the king dies, then someone would take control of the kingdom.”

“Actually, it’s a taboo to say this, but some people say that the old royal family was killed by the current one, some says that a revolution happened. There’s a lot of rumors, no one can tell what is true and what’s not.”
