The Perfect War Story……. - Chapter 82
It was then that their tiff started as Sana was now not getting the luxuries of the life that she wanted and was the only reason she had married Jonas. Jonas had to work as the manager in a company and he was happy with his salary but it was Sana who was not happy. She constantly taunted him and demanded several luxuries of life which he could not afford any more. He then even caught her red handed with several rich men; she slept with, so as to get some more money. Over several years, the couple lived in separate rooms in the same house, not talking to each other, while their daughter Linda always shifted from one bedroom to other, trying to feel the presence of both her parents.
But suddenly when Linda was seven years old, one night the man was found dead in his room due to drug over dose. Some people say it was intentional as he was tired of his wife but could not leave her because of Linda, while Sana always claimed that Jonas always had a habit of mixing up his medicines and it was just an accident. But it was true and a known fact that Sana was found hanging around in the club with several men, just after her husband’s funeral. All this while Linda’s mother had no job but somehow managed to sponsor her daughter’s school fees. But after her school finished, Linda never depended on her mother and had always achieved a scholarship throughout her college and also working at odd jobs to support herself and her mother. After college Linda took job in Austin’s company and her mother was extremely happy as she had a good paying job and she even dreamt that maybe Linda could one day seduce one of her two handsome bosses.
But when she left her job in just a few months she had a major fight with her mother. But in just a few more months she was already running her own successful law firm giving herself and her mother a luxurious lifestyle. It was not that Sana did not love her daughter but she was mighty greedy and she always told Linda that she has to marry somebody very rich.
Linda too loved her mother even though she secretly believed that her father died due to severe depression due to her mother, but Sana was the only parent she had, and she happily let her mother enjoy a luxurious lifestyle. But Linda always got irritated when her mother constantly reminded her that she had to hook up with only a rich man. She did not even approve of her previous boy friend as he was from a middle class family…..
Linda turned around and smiled at her mother. “Oh please mother. Not now.” She rolled her eyes at her mother’s comment.
“Oh, my daughter. Look how pretty and intelligent you are. You are now also rich and successful. Why do you not get yourself a rich man? Your mother will also die in peace.” The lady spoke in anguish.
“Mother can we talk about this tomorrow morning. I have a really bad hangover.” Linda looked at her mother and then climbed up the stairs, throwing her shoes at the stairs itself. Finally she entered her room and literally fell on top of it, without even caring to change her clothes. In just a few seconds the girl was already in a deep slumber not even thinking of what had happened a few minutes ago in the car.
In contrast to this, Austin was constantly smiling and thinking about Linda. He was lying down on his bed looking blankly at a wall, smiling constantly. He could not wait for the next morning when he could go on a date with her and hug her again.
“What is it bro? We have just slept.” Smith spoke in a groggy voice. He was now sleeping in his house with Sheryl sleeping next to him. The phone’s ring woke up Sheryl too, who let out a big yawn.
“Sorry man. But I just need Linda’s number from Sheryl. I am sure she must be with you. Please ask her for the same.” Austin spoke a little embarrassed as he herd Sheryl sleepy voice complaining of not letting her sleep.
“Babe! It is Austin. He needs Linda’s number.” Smith spoke in a loving tone ċȧrėssing the girl’s silky hair.
Sheryl in her sleep forwarded the contact number to Smith who in return sent the contact to Austin. “Thanks man! You are the best.”
“I know. Now just do not call me.” Smith spoke sarcastically and put down the phone. He then turned to look at Sheryl who was lying down beside him completely nȧkėd, covered just in a sheet. He felt a surge of extreme happiness and he gave a quick kiss on her forehead. He then encircled his arms around her and dozed off to sleep yet again.
Austin smiled happily getting the girl’s number and he quickly opened the watsapp, texting her. He typed for several minute, deleting and editing the message and finally came up with a perfect message and pressed the sent buŧŧon.
‘Hi Linda, yesterday night was simply amazing and mesmerising. I simply cannot get you out of my head. Trust me I am not exaggerating this. As soon as you get up please call me. I wanted to give you a call, but then thought of not disturbing you, since you were not feeling so well yesterday night.
-with lots of love and kisses
Austin.’
