‘Sorry. I am not interested in going on a date for you. Do not ever message me or irritate me with your flowers. Bye.’

The girl was now mighty angry not on the boy but on herself for thinking that the boy might have changed, after falling in love with her. She then quickly let out a big sigh and got up on her feet, packing up her stuff to go home.

Suddenly her phone buzzed and she stopped abruptly to look at it, in much annoyance. As usual the boy had texted him instantly and this time he was sending her multiple messages, one after the other. Linda rolled her eyes hearing the multiple pings and then opened the message box as she already knew that it must be Austin who is constantly sending her messages.

-you cancelled the date? But what happened? Did i offend you in any way?

-I am sorry if you felt bad about he flowers. I was just expressing my love for you; that it is. I never meant to embarrass you or hurt you.

-Linda, please! At least reply to my messages.

-Linda. Are you there?

The man was constantly sending her messages so she immediately switched off her phone in frustration, not in a mood to talk to the boy. She was rather furious and thus she quickly packed up her stuff, putting them in her bag and she sprinted out of the office in much anger. The girl was now firm that once again she will defeat Austin in this case, be it on any condition. The hatred for the boy had now increased in her head yet again.

She quickly sat inside her car and drove it towards her house, while her phone was yet switched off. In another thirty minutes, the girl finally halted the car outside the gate of her house and she quickly took out the house key from her bag. The girl was as usual about to open the gate with the key, when suddenly he saw car speeding towards her and it halted immediately, creating a loud screeching voice in the entire atmosphere.

Linda frowned looking at the car in surprise and immediately Austin stepped out of the car. As soon as he looked at the girl he heaved a sigh of relief. “Thank God, I finally found you. I did not see your car parked in your office, so I had ȧssumed that you must be going to your home.” The man smiled a bit walking towards the girl rapidly as if in dire need to talk to her.

“What do you want Austin?” The girl spoke in a harsh and irritated voice, folding her hands across her ċhėst.

“I want to know, what the matter with you is. That too suddenly. Just some time ago you were thanking me for the flowers in a pleased mood and you said you will think about the date. And the very next second you refused to go on a date with me, without giving it a proper thought and without even telling me a reason.” The man frowned standing close to Linda, looking in her beautiful big eyes. The man once again could not help but admire her alluring curves, which were easily seen from under the fitted dress.

“It is not like that! I gave it a proper thought Austin and have told you before; it can never work between us. We are both poles apart and besides we have the same profession. We will often have to face each other in the same court room, fighting against each other. Like tomorrow, we are meeting regarding the liquor case but we are fighting against each other. How can we even think of going on a date with each other?” Linda frowned looking at the man as if he was stating just the most impossible thing.

“Why are you mixing your profession with your personal life? I don’t get it.” The man frowned taking a deep sigh. “Your work is just a part of your life not your entire life. Cannot you just separate it from your mind and look at me as just like a normal individual who really likes you?” Austin spoke sadly looking at Linda with longing eyes.

“Honestly Austin I am trying; I am actually trying. I need to think about it very carefully. I know you are once again fighting for the wrong cause. How can i simply accept this fact? How can I overlook the fact?” Linda frowned in much anger.

“You have not even given me any time Linda. That is not fair.” He held the girl’s wrist pulling her closer to him.

The girl was startled a bit and then looked in the man’s eyes with surprise. His dark eyes were filled with love and pain, and he was looking at the girl with much resolve. “Austin what are you doing?”

Austin smirked a bit and then planted a quick peck on her cheek with much love and adoration. “I have not learnt to accept defeat. And this time all I want is you. I want to touch your body once again, this time without alcohol. I want to feel these beautiful lips on my lips once again and suck them very hard. I want to enter you once again and hug you for life. And I will keep convincing you, till you do not say yes to me.” He smiled a bit and then instantly turned around walking away towards his car. In just another few seconds the man waved her good bye and was already driving away.

Linda looked at the car in astonishment as it drove away. She then touched her cheeks where the man had once again planted a sudden kiss. She could not help but acknowledge that she did like the man’s touch and would also love to sleep with him again. She then quickly blinked her eyes cursing her own thoughts and then opened the lock of the gate with the key, driving the car inside her house.
