The Pirate Djinn - Chapter 16 Years pass by..

In a blink of an eye five years has passed since then, Nate has turned 16 while Rin who is older than him by a year has turned 17.

Passing of years has become much apparent on them, Rin has gotten taller standing 5’7″ and her hair had turned into a darker shade of red. She reminded Nate of Myron Alexius from Magi due to their similarities though Rin looks bit younger. Nate too has gotten taller (6’2″) and much more muscular with looks similar to an older Aladdin.

They both have decided that it was finally time to end their training and start searching for members that could join his crew. Like Luffy, Nate too wanted to focus on quality over quantity for his crew mates which will result in a small crew but not one to be messed with.

During their time spent on training Rin has completely mastered all things available in the island on navigation. Nate was quite happy to have met Rin as he got himself an excellent navigator, who is also a Fanalis.

Once they finished packing they boarded their boat which had been improved with the help of materials from the shipwreck on the shore. Nate also took with him the dairy of the so called Jack Sparrow as he wanted to know the truth, whether he is dead or alive.

“The closest island from here is Goat Island which is to the south, a weeks journey from here.” said Rin as she read some maps. She had a Log Pose on her wrist which will come in handy when they enter the Grand Line.

After Nate got his destination from Rin, he set the boat to sail in that direction while anticipating to meet some strong individuals that he could recruit to his crew.

They managed to reach Goats Island with out any trouble, thanks to Nate killing of almost all the sea kings near the island during his training and Rin who managed to predict the turbulent weather of the island.

Once they docked on the island Nate saw many Marines on the harbor, Nate wasn’t worried that they might find out that he is a pirate as his boat didn’t have a Jolly Roger and their appearances were not know yet.

Nate and Rin moved on to the plaza, they had some gold and money that they got from the chests on the Island and where planning to buy some good clothes, supplies and food before setting sail again. Nate also wanted to find out about the happenings around the world while he was stuck training.

They went to a restaurant to have a meal first, following which Rin left to buy some clothes while Nate asked around for different news and gossips. After few hours he managed to find some news and he was surprised to know it was regarding the Boa sisters, it was said that Boa Hancock became Shichibukai and was called Pirate Empress leading the Kuja Pirates in the Grand Line, he also heard about the death of Fisher Tiger and Jinbei who joined the ranks of Shichibukai last year.

Although he knew most of these from the anime, he didn’t know when it will happen as all these happened before the main story had started and he also wanted to find out if his addition to this world had made any changes.

After he finished gathering information, he wanted to stock up on their food and as he went towards the food stalls he heard commotion nearby, he extended his Haki to find out the cause and he noticed that Rin was nearby so he went over to her. He noticed that she was next to a crowd of people watching something.

“Hey Rin, what’s going on, what’s with all these people?” he asked as he walked next to her.

“It’s those Marines, they are tormenting those poor people.” said Rin as she tried to control her anger.

Nate noticed that a group of five marine where thrashing a man, who seemed to be protecting a small boy who like his son. After watching them being beaten so badly Rin wanted to jump in and fight those Marines, just as she was about to Nate held her back.

“What the hell are you doing?! Can’t you see what those scums are doing???” snapped Rin at Nate

“Just calm down and look..” said Nate as he pointed towards the crowd and Rin noticed that a young swordsman with indigo hair tied into ponytail carrying a long blade of over a meter and half in length.

As soon as Nate saw him he was shocked because it reminded him of someone who should not exist in the realm of Onepiece.
