The Pirate Djinn - Chapter 24 North Star.

“SOMA!!!” everyone present was shocked by the loud shout and turned towards it’s origin. They saw a group of chefs walking over enraged.

“How many times have I told you to not pick a fight with customers?!!!” berated the old man towards the young chef named Soma.

“He deserved it!!” said Soma enraged.

“It seems the kindness that I showed you was a waste!!” said the old man “If you continue this kind of attitude not only you but rest of us will also suffer.”

“I am truly thankful for the kindness that you had showed me in the past and will give my life to repay you back.” said Soma decisively “But I can’t help it, when I see someone being so wasteful and taking it as granted, it just infuriates me… ”

While they where talking the lady who was with the man slipped away from the restaurant unnoticed. Nate was interested in this youngster who resemble one of anime’s greatest chefs, and if possible wanted to invite him into his crew. Rin although surprised by the explosion, once again focused on the food left on the table.

“If you keep this up, one day we will all have pay for your foolishness.” sighed the old man dejectedly. He then turned towards the baffled customers and said “We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused, Please relax and enjoy your food.”

After which Soma was dragged back into the kitchen by rest of the chefs while the waiters resumed their usual demeanor. Nate was thinking of ways to invite the young chef into the crew when he noticed that all most entirety of the food was over, he hurriedly resumed eating after seeing the pace at which Rin was clearing the table.

While Nate was enjoying his food, the lady who ran away before was now running towards one of the largest building in the town that resembles a palace and following her was two servants carrying a charred person akin to a corpse.

“Dad!!! It’s bad!! Brother has been attacked!!” shouted the lady towards a well dressed old man while pointing at her knock out brother as soon as she entered

“What?!! How did this happen??” asked the old man when he saw the condition his son was in. Although grievously injured from all the burns, he was still alive. Upon seeing his son like this enraged the old man.

“We where having dinner at one of the restaurants at the island and when we complained how the food was bad, one of the chef there assaulted brother and kicked him out of the restaurant.” said the lady while hiding some of the truth. “He didn’t even care about when I mentioned that we are royalties.”

“How dare he?! Some mongrel think he can insult a royal family and live with it?!” shouted the old man. “Call the mayor of this town here right this instance. I want that asshole captured and made an example out of. And tell my guards to go and destroy that pathetic restaurant.”

After few minutes a fat middle aged man came running over to the old man while sweating. He was the mayor of this island and town, and he was extremely worried about the consequences of angering the old man as he is one of the most powerful man in North Blue. In North Blue the most notorious and strongest kingdom was the elusive Germa Kingdom which was known all around the world for it’s military might, and the kingdom that stood at the second place for its strength was the NorthStar Kingdom and the old man was the King of the said kingdom. If he wanted to, the old man could destroy this entire island anytime he wants to.

“Your Majesty, you called for me?” asked the mayor as soon as he entered the room while bowing.

“Your people are disciplined at all!! Look at what they have done to my son!! Do they take my me some buffoon ruling over a kingdom??! Just because we are weaker than the Germa doesn’t mean that any random asshole could trample over us!!” shouted the old man at the mayor.

“I am so sorry!! Please quell your anger my liege!! I will make sure that ignorant fool will be captured as soon as possible and bought to your presence.” said the mayor while shivering.

“You better be!!” said the king disdainfully.

While all this was happening, Soma was dejectedly washing dishes in the kitchen as a punishment for all the ruckus he had created. He was a starved orphan when he was taken in by the old owner of this restaurant. He was from the an island in North Blue which was always riddled with civil war and he lost his parents at a very young age. He spent most of his childhood begging just so that he could have something to ease his hunger, but in a war-torn environment just living itself was hurdle.
