The Porter is Secretly an SS-Level Hunter - Chapter 32: Exposure
Once Neban felt Lorka’s lips on his neck, his hand went towards the man’s face as he used [Fire Blast] on him. The man cried out as he moved back, wiping the fire from his face.
Neban moved away before turning around and swinging his sword at the distracted monster. But, even though Lorka was patting his face, he caught the weapon with no problem as he looked up with fury.
Neban burned half of the man’s face, although it was slowly healing as the man glared at him. His eyes were glowing more intense by the minute.
“You stupid little human!” Lorka screamed as he used his other hand to push Neban down while clawing his mask.
Neban fell to the ground as there were claw marks and a small crack on the mask he was wearing. Lorka was already moving towards him as he was getting ready to slam his foot down on Neban’s leg.
But Neban thought faster as he copied the abilities of Summoners and used [Earth Golems x5]. The golems quickly came from the ground, attacking Lorka, causing the man to stop his advances.
Lorka growled as he kicked the golems off him and started stepping on them, causing the rocks on them to break off.
Since the monster was busy, Neban used [Shadow Travel] to move far from the man, so he could think about what to do next; he was hiding behind one of the pushed cars.
As he ducked down, Neban spoke to Siren, ‘Do you know the weakness of this man?’
‘Telling you is like exposing my weakness.’ Siren responded.
‘Siren, we do not have time for that.’
Siren sighed before answering, ‘Remember how I said I do not like a dead monster’s blood?’
Neban nodded.
‘Well, monsters who use blood to help them get more robust will slow down once you feed them dead blood.’ Siren finished.
Neban looked around, the only dead things near them were three Kaazums, but he is pretty sure there is no blood in them since they were too burnt.
‘There is no dead blood around us, is there something else?’ Neban asked.
Siren was getting ready to answer when they heard a shout followed by a car getting thrown. “Human! Come out of hiding, and fight me without your little toys!”
Lorka picked up another car, throwing it as he was coming closer to Neban, lifting every vehicle to check if the human was there.
Neban was moving to another car as he called for Siren again, ‘Is there something else to slow him down with?’
‘I can turn into a fléchette gun. I have dead blood I can lace the needles with.’ Siren answered.
Neban was getting ready to ask where Siren got dead blood from but could not say anything when Lorka appeared in front of him with a massive smirk on his face, causing the moonlight to shine off his sharp fangs.
“I found you, little human.”
The man grabbed Neban’s shirt, pulling him up, only for Neban to kick the man back, causing him to loosen his grip on the shirt as Lorka stumbled backward.
Siren quickly transformed into a fléchette gun as Neban used [Earth Capture] (Neban moved to play the Mage) when he saw the monster moving forward again. The ground shot up, capturing Lorka’s feet while holding them down.
The man growled as he tried to move his feet up and break out of his confinement, “I am getting tired of your tricks.”
“Then how about this one?” Neban spoke as he picked the fléchette gun up, pointing it at Lorka’s body as he pulled the trigger a few times.
Out came five needles that Siren laced with dead blood at the tip of them. Small drops of the blood were slowly dripping to the ground as the needles flew towards Lorka, striking different parts of his body.
Once the man broke from the earth surrounding his feet, he did not move far as the needles struck him, causing the dead blood to enter his body. Black lines started to appear around the man’s body as it made its way to his face.
Lorka’s eyes became a dull yellow as he glared at the weapon with deep-seated anger in them, “You-,” the man was not able to finish as a shot rang out and something passed through his forehead.
Lorka’s eyes slipped closed as he fell to the ground with a hole in his forehead as blood slowly flowed down it.
‘What the hell?’ Neban and Siren simultaneously thought when they saw Lorka go down.
Then, they heard a movement on one of the building’s rooftop as Siren was turning back into a sword. When they faced the sound, something dropped from the building, only to show that it was a human.
Once the person who shot Lorka was in front of them, Neban sighed and cursed at the same time. It was someone he did not want to see, even if they were the last person on earth: Angel, an SS-level Mage hunter from Wonderstones Company.
Neban hated the man with every fiber he had, especially after everything the person did to him.
Angel whistled as he looked at his kill before looking at Neban with a wide grin, “I am on a roll tonight with all these kills. But, nothing makes this better than to see the man who was supposed to be dead. Did you know that your copy disappeared after two weeks?
“But it’s okay; the government didn’t want to make a scene, especially when you decided to be a porter,” Angel moved closer to where they were an inch apart. Neban gripped Siren as his knuckles were turning white; he was trying to hold back from slicing the man in front of him.
“You should know that you cannot keep anything from the government, especially if you are an SS-level, Neban Zaal,” Angel whispered as he looked Neban up and down.
Neban stiffened at that, but he did not want to give Angel the satisfaction of seeing it. “If that is all, and you are here to keep everything under control, I am leaving,” Neban spoke through gritted teeth.
It was a good thing that the mask was covering his face.
‘We should kill the annoying pest.’ Siren commented.
Neban ignored it as he was getting ready to turn and walk back to Isona’s home. If the government has the SS-level hunters out here, then there is no reason he should stay.
Plus, since they knew who he was, Neban only wanted to make it back to his son because he did not wish what happened two years ago to start all over again.
Angel grabbed his arm, only for Neban to quickly turn around and punch the man. Angel caught his fist, but Neban swiftly kicked his foot out, landing his hit on the man’s stomach.
Angel laughed as he stumbled back, holding his stomach, “Such fire.”
“Touch me again, and you will lose your hand,” Neban growled, pointing Siren at him.
“But, Obsidian, I already touched you, and so have Luka and Tessa. Except you knocked Tessa up and caused her to leave, didn’t you?” Angel mocked.
Neban slowly counted to ten in his head because he wanted to kill this man until all there was left was pieces of him. But, he couldn’t, because the people still needed Angel.
Neban chooses to say nothing as he walks away, not looking back once because Neban knew if he did, then he would go back on his word.
Angel clicked his tongue at Neban for not responding to his words, but it did not matter because he would be seeing the man again. Angel took one glance at the monster he killed before walking away and going back to where the portal was still opened.
Once Neban made it back to Isona’s home, his anger stayed present at seeing Angel. But at the same time, with himself, because he hated how that man still got under his skin.
‘We can always kill him.’ Siren reminded him.
‘Not now.’
Opening the door, Neban walked inside as he closed the door behind him. He took off his mask and put it in his sub-space, with Siren following after. He pulled out his phone and texted to the group chat: ‘You can come out; they have SS-level hunters taking care of the problem.’
There was no reply, but Neban heard the sound of people moving and one person running. Neban could already guess it was his son when said person hit his leg.
“Papa!” Theo screamed.
Neban shushed him before picking him up. The rest of the group followed, and Wey looked guilty. “Sorry, I tried to stop him from running.”
“It is fine.” Neban curtly answered as he still thought of many ways to kill Angel.
“Are you okay?” Owain asked as he checked Neban.
Neban nodded as he walked closer to them, “We should move somewhere else as we wait.”
“We can go to the kitchen if anyone is hungry?” Isona mentioned. The others nodded at that as they moved to the kitchen.
“Papa, are you sure you are okay?” Theo whispered so Neban could be the only one to hear it.
Neban looked at his son, sighing a bit because the boy was too sharp and mature for his age. “We can talk later,” Neban responded, hoping it didn’t come off rude.
Theo smiled and nodded. Neban pulled his son closer while running his hand through Theo’s hair, trying to push away his thoughts.

Outside was starting to quiet down as the portal was beginning to close. Near the area that Neban and Angel left, Lorka’s body was not there.
Lorka was sitting on the roof of one of the buildings, watching the humans close off the portal that he made to start the first contact into this world.
The man was wiping the blood off his forehead as there was no wound or scar in sight. He rested his head on his hand while a smirk was present on his face; Lorka’s hair seemed to flow with the wind as someone appeared behind him.
“Mother would like to know when she and the others will be able to pass over.” The person spoke.
Lorka continued to watch the humans as he answered, “Tell her to give it some time. I cannot use my full powers yet. When the time comes, I will let her know.”
The person nodded before disappearing as Lorka stood up, stretching before turning into mini bats.
‘Soon, we will conquer this world.’
