The Porter is Secretly an SS-Level Hunter - Chapter 70: The Germa Clan (1)
Neban left the house when it was time for him to go. He told everyone bye as he had Siren in his sub-space. Walking towards the barrier’s entrance, Neban could see other hunters making their way there too.
When they reached the borderline, there were already Warriors up front, waiting for the rest of the hunters to come.
The hunters stood there for a few minutes, making sure that everyone was there before the Warriors turned around. They created a vast opening in the barrier as people started to walk out.
They left a few hunters behind to guard the borderline if any monsters decided to come back. Once they were out, the barrier closed behind them.
There were no monsters on the streets since they ran into their town when the barrier came down. So, the walk was easy as they made their way to the Germa Clan’s building.
But they did not relax as a few hunters had weapons in their hands, looking around to make sure that nothing would pop out.
They continued.
‘I want to fight Mother. It is a perfect time. She has not had a human in months.’ Siren said.
‘Even if she is easy to take now, there are still others guarding her, no?’
Siren sighed. Neban could practically see them crossing their arms. ‘Let’s hurry and kill these weaklings. I need to get back to my original state.’

Mother’s Palace:
Mother slowly walked to the window of her building, ignoring the four humans chained to her throne. Narith snatched them during the chaos of when the barrier came down. They were struggling, trying to scream, but their mouths had cloths over them.
Tapping the window once she was near it, Mother called for her favorite servant, “Narith!”
Narith appeared, sitting on one knee as he bowed to Mother. “You have called?”
Mother’s eyes were getting color back into them, but things were still blurry to her as she tried to look outside. “What is happening?”
“I’ve seen the humans making their way to Germa Clan’s building. I believe they plan to annihilate them.” Narith answered.
Mother started laughing before turning away, walking back to her throne as she touched the closest human to her. The human tried to move backward, but Mother gripped their chin, keeping them in place.
“Let them kill those weak beings. I have no use for them. I want to see the humans’ plans.” She sat down, digging her nail into the human’s chin.
Blood filled the room, causing Narith to turn towards the human, his eyes glistening as he took in the smell.
“For your good work, Narith, I reward you with a snack.”
The human started to rapidly shake their head as Narith stood up, quickly appearing in front of them. Once Mother moved her hand away, Narith dug in without hesitation.
The remaining humans started to cry as they watched one of their own getting drained by a monster.
Mother smiled at the sight as she leaned back, looking towards the window. There was a smile on her face as she couldn’t wait to see what the humans have in store.

The hunters reached a long, fifteen-story, white and green building. It was silent as they did not hear anything, nor did anyone come out.
A few hunters looked around before Angel was already playing the leader. “Okay, everyone, remember what we did when we went into the last dungeon. If we have to split, it is okay. As long as all the monsters are dead, it doesn’t matter how things go down.”
The majority of the hunters nodded while Neban ignored the man.
Angel slowly opened the building’s door as they left it unlocked. When they entered, it was still silent as there was no one around. The room they were in was dark and a bit dusty.
‘Where are they?’ Neban thought out loud.
‘Germa Clan likes to be in high places. Be careful, though; they are probably planning to ambush us.’ Siren spoke.
Right after Siren spoke those words, a few monsters dropped in front of them.
Angel was the first to react as he shot out water, pushing the monsters back. Summoners were already summoning golems to enter the fight while the Warriors were putting up shields. The Supporters were upping everyone’s abilities, and the rest of the Mages were putting out their powers.
The other hunters were pulling out their weapons.
While everyone else started fighting, Neban snuck off as he made his way to some stairs. He stuck to the shadows, making sure that his presence was low.
Siren said that they liked high places, so Neban would go up because he wants to fight stronger monsters.
Once he entered the second floor, something rushed towards him, running him into the wall. The wall broke down as they fell into the room on the other side.
Neban and the monster were on the ground with dust on them as the broken wall pieces laid on the floor.
The monster tried to grab Neban’s throat, but he used his legs to flip them over. Once the thing was under him, Neban stood up, moving back as he pulled Siren out.
Everything was a bit dark around them, making it hard to see as the monster stood up. The thing rushed towards Neban.
Neban swung Siren, trying to stop the monster from getting any closer, but the thing ducked down before moving around him.
The monster was behind him as they kicked their foot out, hitting Neban in his back. Neban flew forward, landing on something that felt like a table. The table broke under him, causing him to fall on the ground again.
Neban flipped on his back as he felt the monster coming towards him. He swiftly pulled Siren forward, poking out the weapon. The thing came too fast, not able to stop as their body got impaled onto the sword.
Pushing the monster to the ground as he kept Siren in the body, Neban stood up. He dusted himself off before turning towards Siren and the dead body.
‘Are you finished?’ Neban asked.
‘I just started. But it doesn’t matter. I want better blood than this; pull me out.’ Siren responded.
Neban pulled out Siren as he walked out of the room, making his way to the halls so that he could look for the next stairs.
He walked for a minute before stopping as he felt that someone else was there with him. Neban looked around before saying, “I know you are here. Come out already.”
Neban heard the sound of shoes walking towards him from behind. He turned around as it was hard to make out the person. “So, I see that you are the human with Mother’s weapon.” The monster spoke. The voice sounded male.
Neban and Siren rolled their eyes at that. ‘I think I am starting to hate hearing those words.’ Siren spoke. Neban agreed but did not say anything.
“We can skip the talk,” Neban responded.
“I agree.”
Then the man was right in front of him, trying to stab him with his weapon. Neban used Siren to block the spear as he got pushed back from the sudden force.
Neban planted his feet on the ground as they were at a standstill. The monster tried to push him down, but Neban held on. After a second, the man moved a few steps backward, giving them space.
They did not exchange any words as the monster moved forward to attack again.
Their weapons were hitting against each other, making weird noises as Neban moved back with each hit. The monster followed his movements as it went on for a while until Neban’s back hit against a wall.
The monster pulled back, getting ready to hit him with force until Neban used [Shadow Travel] in the free moment he had.
The monster’s weapon hit the wall as Neban appeared behind him. He used [Shadow Beam], hitting the man as his body fell into the wall. The shadow beam did not hurt the monster, but the man cut his cheek on the spear stuck to the wall.
The monster growled, turning around as blood flowed from the wound on their cheek. The man ran towards Neban, throwing a punch.
Neban blocked it, only for a kick to follow in its place. He gripped the wall hard, causing his hand to go through as he tried to keep from falling back.
The man grabbed his collar, bringing him close when Neban tried to take his hand out of the wall. Neban leaned back a bit before swinging his hand that had Siren in it at the thing.
Siren sunk into the monster’s side as Neban pushed the weapon deeper in. Blood was slipping out as the monster’s hand started to loosen on his collar.
Once the monster’s hand was entirely gone, Neban pushed the body down as he pulled Siren out. Then he stabbed the weapon back in when the body hit the ground.
As Siren was taking in the blood, Neban quickly turned around, catching something in his hand. When he looked at what was in his hand, Neban saw that it was a blade.
He caught it without cutting himself.
“Play with me next, human.” He heard someone say.
