The Porter is Secretly an SS-Level Hunter - Chapter 76: The Dedia Clan (2)
They reach the Dedia Clan’s building. There were no monsters outside; it was like they did not see the hunters as a threat.
They already defeated the Germa Clan, which probably meant nothing to the other clans.
The building was a wide white one with many windows. There looked to be eight floors, while most of the windows had gates on them. Drawings surrounded the building, like one of the monsters drew on it. But it was hard to make out what the pictures were.
Angel was at the front of the group, not saying any words as he opened the door to the building. He gave one look to the group of hunters before walking in. The others followed him.
Neban stayed outside as he watched them walk into the building. He looked at the windows again, surveying them until he noticed a window half-opened. It looked like it was on the third floor.
He waited until all the hunters were inside the building before pulling out Siren. Once he had them in his hand, Neban said out loud, “I need you to turn into a grappling hook.”
‘Oh, climbing on the wall, how fun.’ Siren responded before turning into a grappling hook.
Neban grabbed the part near the hook as he turned towards the half-open window, walking a bit closer. He twirled the thing around before throwing it.
The hook fell inside the window as he pulled it down, making sure that it was securely on. Neban pulled a few times, seeing that the thing was still there without falling.
He moved closer to the wall, grabbing the rope as he crawled up. It was a slow process as Neban made sure not to fall. He was also paying attention to his surroundings, making sure that no monster would pop out.
Once he reached the window, he grabbed the edge of it with one hand while the other pushed the window up more. When there was enough room for him to crawl through, Neban made his way inside.
Neban slipped to the ground when he crawled inside. He did not look at the area he was in as he picked himself up. Grabbing the hook, he pulled the rest of the rope inside the building.
When he finished, Neban told Siren to turn back. “Do you want to be in your other form, or are you going to stay as my weapon?” Neban asked.
Siren turned into their human form, stretching. “I am going to stay like this for a while.”
Neban nodded his head as he looked around, finally taking in the area.
The hall had many doors that were not fully closed. There was a simple wallpaper that had pink and white flowers surrounding it. There were even tables with vases on them present in the hallway.
If a person looked down the hall, they could see that an elevator was there. Neban wondered if the building they entered was an old hotel.
“This place looks cute,” Siren started as they walked to one of the doors, “I wonder if there is anything in the rooms.” They hit their knuckles against the door.
Neban shook his head at them, “Leave the rooms alone. Let’s go to the elevators. The quicker we deal with the clan leaders, the quicker I can go home.”
Siren sighed, “Party pooper.”
Neban ignored it as he started walking to the elevator. Siren followed behind him while whistling the whole time.
As they were a few feet from reaching the elevator, one of the room doors fully opened itself. Neban abruptly stopped, causing Siren to too.
A woman with bright yellow skin seductively walked out of the room. She leaned against the wall, showing how she was barely dressed.
The woman had on a small white bralette with tiny underwear that was the same color. She had on a transparent light blue dress over it; the dress had slits on both sides.
Her brown eyes glowed as they had a mix of excitement and viciousness in them.
There were tonfas, with spikes surrounding them, in her hand. She gave Neban and Siren a sultry smile, showing off her sharp glowing teeth.
She moved the weapons back and forward before speaking, “Welcome to my rooms; which one would you like to play in?” The woman looked both of them up and down, licking her lips; her tongue had a split in it.
Siren had a look of distaste on their face while Neban did not react at all. “I rather die than be in any room with you,” Siren answered.
The woman laughed at Siren’s response before turning towards Neban, “What about you, human? Want to taste something forbidden? I promise it will be sweet and deadly.”
Neban pulled out Ice Queen in response.
Seeing the weapon, the woman straightened herself, letting out one last giggle, “I see you are no fun.”
The woman moved so fast that Neban could not track her movement until he felt a kick hitting him on his side.
He hit the wall, breaking it as he fell into the room on the other side. A weapon appeared in Siren’s hand as they attacked the woman with fury present in their eyes.
The woman blocked the attack with her weapon as she swung the second tonfa towards Siren’s neck. Siren dodged before moving back as their weapon turned into blades.
They swiftly shot them out.
Blocking the blades with her tonfas, the woman hit them away as she moved back. Siren switched back to a sword as they followed the woman. They swung at her.
The woman picked up her tonfas, getting ready to block the swing, when suddenly, Siren dropped to the ground.
Before the woman could question it, she felt something hit her shoulder before liquid started to drip down.
She looked towards her shoulder and saw a small hole, causing blood to make its way down her arm with a slow flow.
When she looked forward, she saw the human standing up with his free hand pointed at her.
Neban picked himself up when Siren and the woman started fighting. They were not paying attention to him as he dusted himself off before watching the fight.
He waited for the right moment to enter when he found it. Neban used the mind link between him and Siren, telling them to duck down. Once they did, Neban used [Shadow Beam], aiming for the woman’s shoulder.
The shot landed.
The woman touched her wound, bringing her bloody fingers towards her face before laughing. “How clever,” she started as she looked towards them, “but I cannot have these interruptions again.”
When she brought her hand up, Neban and Siren (they were on their feet again) clenched their weapons as their faces hardened. They prepared themselves for what the woman was getting ready to do.
She brought two fingers together before snapping them. Once the noise resonated through the hall, someone appeared right next to her. They were bowing on their knees with their head down.
“You have called, mistress.” The person greeted the woman.
“Go play with the weapon; I don’t want any interruptions while I have fun with the human.” She ordered.
The person stood up before disappearing.
Everything happened so fast when the person reappeared as they grabbed Siren by their throat. They picked Siren up before taking them down the hall.
Neban reacted, trying to reach them when the woman appeared in front of her. “I cannot let you do that. Your time is with me.” She swung her tonfas at him.
He dodged, moving back as he stumbled through the broken wall.
She kept attacking, swinging her weapons at him. Neban moved left and right to avoid them before picking up Ice Queen, blocking the tonfas.
Ice started to make its way on the tonfas until it quickly melted off. Neban was surprised that the ice did not work on the weapons, but he did not show it.
Even though the surprise did not appear on his face, the woman already guessed it. “Do you like my element-resistant babies?” She smirked.
Neban did not respond as he stomped his shoe, hard, on the woman’s foot. The woman cursed as she moved back, putting her weapons down by an inch.
It was enough for Neban as he elbowed her in the face. When his elbow connected to her nose, the woman kicked his knee.
Neban’s leg dropped to the ground as the woman smirked down at him, not caring that there was blood coming down her nose.
She picked up her weapon, getting ready to smash it on Neban’s head.
Using [Shadow String], he swiftly wrapped it around the woman’s wrist as he completely dropped to the ground pulling it along the way.
The woman leaned forward as the string cut through her skin from the pull.
She grabbed the invisible string, cutting it with her nail as she took a step backward. Neban dropped the string, getting back up when the woman was stepping towards him again.
He put Ice Queen into the ground, causing it to ice over quickly. When the ice went near the woman, it melted in an instant, which Neban wanted.
The woman slipped a bit, and once she did, Neban pulled out a small blade, stabbing her in the stomach.
Once the blade was in her stomach, Neban moved back as the woman stood upright, growling. She threw her weapons down as she glared at Neban. Pulling the blade out of her, she said, “You want to get rough? Then we can get rough.”
One flick of her wrist and the lights in the surrounding area died out.
