The Possessed Cheater - Chapter 3 The Date
“Wow, Oliver. You really know how to surprise people.”
But I wonder, have you done this to other girls as well? Tch, I feel annoyed just thinking about it.
He looked relieved at first, but then notices my mood change, and tells me to go inside.
We take a look at everything in there. It sure was worth it.
After seeing everything, we get out, and he brings me back in the car, saying: “We’re gonna have the best ice-cream here, and I’ll take you home.”
“Oliver, thanks,” I say, giving him a warm smile.
“Will you give me another chance?”
He sure is determined.
“Why?”
Why would I give him another chance? And why would he even want it? Wasn’t he the one to cheat? Oh Oliver, I don’t know what to do with you.
“I love you. You know I do. I know I’ve been a jeek to you, but I won’t do it again. Please?” he responds, looking hurt.
Should I give you yet another chance? Do you even deserve it? I don’t know, but I will try.
“One last chance.”
He suddenly looks overjoyed and hugs me.
I can’t really say I hate it, so I just pat him on the head, smiling.
We get in the car, and Oliver acts very lovely.
I look at the driver, who doesn’t seem very bothered by all that’s happening.
I guess I’ll have to let Oliver be happy.
Maybe he really has changed. It’s strange, but I don’t dislike it.
We arrive at the ice-cream shop, sit down on a table, and order some.
We chatted and laughed like we hadn’t done in years, and I honestly felt very happy.
After eating, he pays the bill and takes me home. Before opening the door, I look at Oliver one last time, and go in.
My parents already know I like Oliver, and his parents know as well, so they doesn’t ask me about the date.
I personally don’t feel the need to tell her either, since it’s a bit personal.
I change into my sleepwear and then go to bed, with a smile.
The next day, I go to school with Oliver, and spend every break with him.
He looks so sincere, I can’t help but be happy.
When was the last time he looked at me with such honest eyes? It was more than 4 years ago.
After school, I had to go meet my aunt and my cousins. She’s very gentle, and my cousins don’t mistreat me.
They’re all around my age.
On the way to her house, I suddenly feel someone pulling my arm. I’m positive it’s a man, but I didn’t get to see him clearly, since he covered my mouth and nose with a drugged tissue. If it wasn’t drugged…it would’ve…been better…
I don’t know how much time passed, but I woke up from the cold water that was thrown at me.
I find myself tied to a chair, but my mouth is free.
“Who are you guys? I don’t know you…Why are you doing this to me?” I ask, terrified.
“Hey, young lady, stop being such a scaredy cat. We have reasons for this,” says a man in his twenties. He looks very handsome, just like Oliver, but he would never do this to me
