The President’s Man - Chapter 331
He immediately ran out of the toilet, and when he saw the three boys near the stand, he immediately ran toward them and he immediately landed a punch on Johnny’s ear, causing the bigger boy to topple over from imbalance.
And when Johnny was down, Xiao Zhihao glared at his friends, and he started shouting like a madman as he attacked them. Both boys received martial arts training before, so they managed to deflect his attack, especially now that they were on alert.
“Zhihao!”
Xiao Zhihao could hear a girl’s voice nearby, but he was too deep in his anger to care. From his anger, he found strength that enabled him to hit the boys hard. He had been trained by his father before. Even if it was a long time ago, even if it was just basic training, given that he still trained himself, he was actually stronger than what people gave him credits for.
He managed to land a few punches on both boys before someone suddenly kicked him from behind.
“You f*cker! What’s your problem?!” Johnny yelled as he strode toward Xiao Zhihao menacingly.
A figure flashed past them, and with her arms opened wide, she snapped, “Hey, stop! Don’t you dare!”
“Get lost!” Johnny snarled as he pushed the girl aside.
Xiao Zhihao saw Quinn fall on the floor, and he quickly stood up. He also strode toward Johnny with an angry, almost murderous stare. He exchanged a few blows with Johnny before the boy managed to catch Xiao Zhihao in a chokehold.
“You b*stard! Did you see that kid inside the toilet?” Johnny snarled. “Do you really think you can win me? Without your f*ck of a father protecting you from the grave, that would have been you. You should blame yourself for that poor kid’s misfortune. Your father was just a f*cking street rat who died, so who gave you the right to act so high and mighty around me? A street rat should just remain a street rat!”
Xiao Zhihao’s face was turning red, from lack of air and intense burst of anger, as he glared back at Johnny. With his last strength, he braced himself and kicked Johnny’s leg in one swoop before throwing the larger boy over his shadow.
BAM!
Johnny landed on one of the tables at the charity sale before tumbling down onto the floor. Xiao Zhihao quickly took in a few breaths before storming toward Johnny. He straddled Johnny and kept punching the boy in the face, aiming at the weak points, such as his nose and eyes.
By the time Johnny’s face was covered with blood, Xiao Zhihao was gasping. He could hear teachers shouting, but before those teachers could reach him, Xiao Zhihao grabbed Johnny’s right hand and as if snapping a twig, he broke them in two.
“ARGGGHH!!!” Johnny yelled in pain.
“Stop!”
Someone pulled Xiao Zhihao back before the latter could land another punch on the fallen teenager.
“I’m going to kill him!” Xiao Zhihao yelled as he struggled to push the person holding him back. He saw teachers run past him to tend to Johnny.
“Get the doctors! Get them to the school clinics!” someone yelled.
“What the h*ll happened here?!” another person yelled in shock.
“Don’t run away! Come back!” Xiao Zhihao yelled as the teachers took Johnny and the other two injured boys away. “Come back!”
“Stop it!” the person holding him back hissed.
Xiao Zhihao turned his head slightly and saw Tian Le from the corner of his eyes. It turned out that Tian Le had heard the commotion, and he came running, only to stumble into this bloody scene. “What the h*ll are you doing?! Don’t you care about your scholarship anymore?! Do you want to get expelled?!”
“F*ck scholarship!” Xiao Zhihao snapped and pushed Tian Le away. There was still a lot of anger in him and he lashed out on one of the table by kicking it so hard that it flew back, toppled a chair, and hit the wall. “F*ck you rich people! F*ck this school! F*ck all of you!” Xiao Zhihao yelled angrily.
“Mr. Xiao!”
Xiao Zhihao turned to the person calling him, and he saw the principal with a very grave expression.
“Mr. Zhen, take Student Xiao to the clinic and get him cleaned up. Once you’re done, please send him to my office.”
Tian Le nodded.
“Everyone else, go back to your class!” the principal snapped when he saw that the other students were still watching, some had even taken out their phones to record the incident.
Quinn watched as Tian Le grabbed Xiao Zhihao’s wrist and dragged him toward the clinic.
“Tian Le…”
“Quinn, go back to your classroom for now,” Tian Le said in a softer tone. He then glared at Xiao Zhihao and said, “I’m going to take this brat to the clinic first.”
Xiao Zhihao looked at Quinn and mouthed, “Toilet. Help.”
In less than a second, Quinn understood that Xiao Zhihao was asking for her help, and she nodded.
After everyone left the scene, and the hallway was completely devoid of people, Quinn went to the boys’ toilet and slowly walked in. When she found the wounded boy, who had crawled out from the cubicle and was on all four as if he was trying to push himself up, she gasped in shock.
“A-are you alright?” she asked as she hovered her palms near him, unsure of where to touch him. His back was covered in blood, and it was extremely gruesome for someone like her to see, someone who had always been protected before.
“Don’t… touch… me!” the boy glared at her. “I don’t… need your help…” he said between breath and winced, as if every time he talked, his body hurt. “You… rich… people are the same… Treating us… like dirt…”
“I…” Quinn didn’t know what to say. “Let’s take you to the clinic first…”
“No!” the boy snapped and winced. He crawled to the sink area, and using the sink as a leverage, he pulled himself up.
“Can I do anything for you?” Quinn asked. “Are you sure you don’t want to go to the clinic? That looks really bad!”
“And what?!” the boy snapped as he wiped his tears away. He was in so much pain that he could care less about whom he might offend anymore. At the moment, he just wanted to die. He just wanted to give up on everything and die. When he got the scholarship, he and his parents had been so happy. The scholarship was a way for them to leave the poverty line, for them to have a proper future.
But the truth was far worse than what he could imagine.
He braced himself and glanced at his wounded back. When he saw the words through the reflection in the mirror, he shook his head. “No! I don’t want anyone else to see this…”
Quinn looked at him. After a few seconds, she took off her blazer and gently put it on his back. “Just cover up for now… I’ll call for my driver. We’ll go to Imperial Hospital. I have an uncle there. He won’t tell anyone about this. If you leave this as it is, it’s going to get infected.”
The boy looked at her, and after a while, he nodded. Mostly out of worried that his parents would feel guilty for sending him here in the first place.
