The Princess’ Bedroom Doll -R19 - Chapter 111
Raha and Jamela looked around. As she reached for the jewelry on display, her hand stopped midair.
“Princ…oh, no, Lady…!”
The manager, who had obviously run in a rush, stopped in front of Raha with a shudder.
“Oh, welcome. I would like to extend a hearty welcome to our distinguished guests. I am truly sorry for the delay in entertaining our guests….I’m sorry……!”
“Show me.”
“There is a private guest room on the second floor. I’ll take you there right away.
Once you are comfortably seated in the guest room, the chief designer of the salon will personally guide the noble lady with sincerity to the best of her ability.”
Raha retracted her hand. Jamela blinked.
“Yes. Lead the way.”
Now the princess… ……is she mad?
What a surprise.
Jamela bit her lip lightly. She managed to hold back her laughter.
* * *
Raha and Shed were escorted upstairs to the guest room. The manager was busy bowing his head. He seemed to have run in a hurry, but his appearance was neat nonetheless.
Blake Duke, who had followed the Princess as her escort today, looked at her as she walked into the room and asked the assistant manager who stood next to her.
“Who is the chief designer that you say is coming up to the guest room?”
“Oh, it’s Laura Blue, she’s the highest paid designer in the system these days…. ….”
“That designer and all assistants who enter the guest room must be checked by me.”
“What? Yes…….”
The assistant manager looked flustered.
The salon was in a state of emergency because of the visit of the Princess, a big shot, and even the future empress, Jamela Winston. So two of the guest rooms on the second floor were opened, which were not usually open to the public.
The manager took the Princess, and the assistant manager tried to take Jamela. But Jamela refused and waited, wanting to see some more of the jewelry on display. However, the knight, who had been looking at the salon with cold eyes earlier, said so….
The people in the salon did not yet know that he was Blake Duke, the captain of the Kingsguard. They only grasped the extent of the fact that he was a knight of high status since he was escorting the members of the royal family. In fact, that was enough.
Blake looked coldly at the salon staff as they were about to enter the guest room. No one seemed to be particularly suspicious.
“Show me to the guest room where the lady just went up.”
“Yes. …… this way please.”
Blake also went to the second floor. Anyway, this was the first time in several years that the Princess had been outside. They would never know who might approach them to take advantage of this opportunity.
There was a reason why Karzen had kept Raha locked up in the palace for almost 10 years.
Thanks to that, today the princess was as excited as a child by all accounts. She had stopped by several places excitedly. If she had been an ordinary aristocrat, she would have questioned with the security, but the Princess was not an ordinary aristocrat and didn’t seem to have such an idea.
That royal lord didn’t seem to care to ask such a thing either.
Even while listening to young master Rosain Ligulish, the royal lord only looked at the Princess. It was obvious the man was in love.
Blake could understand how jealous Severo was, who seemed to be going crazy with his love for the Princess.
Though lately he had been strangely quiet again and he hadn’t seen him.
“The lady is in this guest room……..”
The room was decorated with ivory-colored marble and had a soft and warm atmosphere. The assistant manager asked, forgetting his fear.
“Are all the knights going to be in here?”
He sounded perplexed.
“You all make sure to check the people who come in and out of here.”
“Yes, sir.”
Blake jutted, and the knights who had followed him bowed their heads.
Although he had already checked it once below, Blake wasn’t relieved.
The assistants with Raha’s clothes continued to come in, so it was essential to keep track of their identities and appearances.
If anyone changed, this salon would be besieged immediately.
Blake opened the door and stepped inside. A partition with an oil painting of a gorgeous yellow-green field blocked his view. The partition was thin and obviously left there for decorative purposes.
“Princess.”
As he circled the partition, he saw Raha in the large room. And the royal lord was sitting on the sofa. The manager looked at Blake with a puzzled expression.
It was a noble room in an ordinary salon. Shoes were lined up plentiful, fans, tightly packed hats and ribbons. There was a fluffy wool carpet on the floor and several large mirrors. There were no more doors. There didn’t seem to be enough space for people to hide.
It may have seemed rude at first glance, but Raha did not particularly blame him.
“Turn around behind the partitions.”
“Yes, Princess.”
A few moments later, the Chief Designer entered the noble guest room. She was surprised to see Blake standing with his back to the partition, and then walked inside.
After a polite greeting and a brief introduction, the designer enthusiastically talked about the dresses. The sound of wheels rolling smoothly was heard, as if the manager was pulling a moving hanger with dresses.
“Princess. Please let me help you undress first.”
“Then feel free to call me anytime if you need me.”
As the manager was walking out, he was surprised to see Blake again. Everyone could have been surprised to see a knight that wouldn’t budge, even though he must have heard the word “undress”.
Not even a fine crack on Blake’s cold face was seen.
The chief designer carefully took off the Princess’s coat. Then she involuntarily swallowed. She thought her skin was pure white, but a glimpse of her neck down….there was full of red marks. She almost threw a glance at the royal lord who was sitting close by.
Of course, the imperial princess was famous for having many slaves to take care of her at night, so with them…. …. The designer managed to smile as she dispelled the cumbersome thought.
“My Princess. The dress you are wearing now was also designed by me. Do you like it?”
“Of course. It is beautiful and I specially selected it for the occasion.”
The designer’s eyes sparkled. She spoke with an emotional voice.
“It’s almost spring, so I think designs with ribbons will be in fashion. I would like to show you mainly those kinds…….”
The sound of rich skirts brushing and the designer’s voice recommending something drifted through the salon. Blake still had his back to the partition and his arms crossed.
The only thing blocked was the view.
He could hear the designer scuttling about, perhaps undressing the Princess completely. A clatter, the sound of a peeled off dress being placed on the table. Then the sound of a dress on a hanger being taken out followed.
Suddenly the designer made a startled voice.
“The ribbon ……excuse me, Princess.”
The new test dress for Raha was much heavier than a normal dress. It was because of the jewels hanging from it. After the customer tried on the dress, she looked at herself in the mirror. They decided that the jewels needed to be taken off a few for the final version.
The heavy jewelry was held in place by a ribbon woven with several iron hooks to hold the bell-shaped dress in place, but the problem was that the designer was excited to see Raha in it. The iron hook broke from the inside and got stuck, and no matter how hard she tried, one of the ribbons wouldn’t come loose.
As it was, the dress would not be able to show properly. The designer’s face turned increasingly pale. The designer stopped just before her hand bled. It was going to be a real problem if she upset the Princess.
“Oh, Princess, ah, may I call someone?”
“Call someone? What’s going on all of a sudden?”
“The iron hook for the ribbon seems to have been broken and stuck inside… I lack grip strength. ….I’ll go get an assistant to remove the ribbon right now.”
“Do that.”
As the nice response fell, the designer hurriedly found a thin shawl. The job needed a male assistant so she had to cover the Princess’s bare skin.
Shed’s brow narrowed slightly.
Shade squeezed her brow lightly.
“I’ll do it.”
“Huh? No, sir! I have a strong assistant outside……”
“I’m jealous.”
“Huh?”
The designer was bewildered.
Already left his seat, Shed quickly closed the distance. He stood behind Raha and effortlessly tore off that stuck ribbon. The broken ribbon fell to the floor with a sound of hard metal snapping. The designer’s face turned blue in a different way.
Raha gasped and laughed when she saw the ribbon that had turned into a rag.
“I’ll pay for that too, so put it on the tab.”
“No! It’s all right!”
“Then bring me another dress. I don’t think this dress is meant for me.”
“Yes, Your Royal Highness. Is there a cold you prefer?”
Originally, she should have brought a lot more dresses, but the guards were keeping a scary watch outside, so she brought in only one or two. The designer hurriedly left the guest room.
“Shed.”
Raha scolded Shed gently while the door clicked shut.
“How could you say something like that in public?”
“I’ve untied the ribbon, so it doesn’t matter.”
“Untie it? You broke it.”
“What does it matter if it’s going to be thrown away anyway? The designer can’t do her job properly.”
“Don’t blame her. They are nervous to see the royal family members.”
“So that’s why it’s better that I do it than the nervous assistants.”
“What and …… you came in when I have no clothes on.”
“Yes. Your doctor told me every time.”
“I know Oliver is not the kind of person to say that.”
“He said similar things.”
Raha wrinkled her nose. Well, Oliver would most likely say that to Shed…
“…… then untie the other ribbons in the back too.”
